The molecules of the title compounds, C16H15NOS2, (I), and C16H13Br2NOS2, (II), are E,E‐isomers and consist of an extensive conjugated system, which determines their molecular geometries. Compound (I) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c. It has one thiophene ring disordered over two positions, with a minor component contribution of 0.100 (3). Compound (II) crystallizes in the noncentrosymmetric orthorhombic space group Pca21 with two independent molecules in the unit cell. These molecules are related by a noncrystallographic pseudo‐inversion center and possess very similar geometries. The crystal packings of (I) and (II) have a topologically common structural motif, viz. stacks along the b axis, in which the molecules are bound by weak C—H...O hydrogen bonds. The noncentrosymmetric packing of (II) is governed by attractive intermolecular Br...Br and Br...N interactions, which are also responsible for the very high density of (II) (1.861 Mg m−3).  相似文献

A general and efficient method for the synthesis of cyclic sulfinates and sulfinamides based on intramolecular homolytic substitution (SHi) at the sulfur atom by aryl or alkyl radicals is described. Both alkyl and benzofused compounds can be accessed directly from easily prepared acyclic precursors. Enantiomerically enriched sulfur‐based heterocycles were formed through an SHi process with inversion of configuration at the sulfur atom. Cyclization of prochiral radicals proceeded with varying stereochemical outcomes, depending on the size of the incoming radical. 2‐Pyridyl and 2‐quinolyl radicals led to biaryl compounds, which result from attack onto the ortho position of the arylsulfinate rather than a thiophilic substitution.  相似文献

This work reports significantly improved spectral resolution of 13C CP MAS NMR spectra of chlorinated, brominated and iodinated solid organic compounds when such spectra are recorded at ultrahigh magnetic field strengths. The cause of this is the residual dipolar coupling between carbon atoms and quadrupolar halogen nuclides (chlorine‐35/37, bromine‐79/81 or iodine‐127), an effect inversely proportional to the magnetic field strength which declines in importance markedly at 21.1 T as compared to lower fields. In favorable cases, the fine structure observed can be used for spectral assignment, e.g. for Cl‐substituted aromatics where the substituted carbon as well as the ortho‐carbons show distinct doublets. The experimental results presented are supported by theoretical modeling and calculations. The improved spectral resolution in the studied systems and similar halogenated materials will be of particular interest and importance for polymorph identification, drug discovery and quality control in the pharmaceutical industry. The standard (p° = 0.1 MPa) molar energies of combustion in oxygen, at T = 298.15 K, of 5-, 6- and 7-methoxy-α-tetralone were measured by static bomb calorimetry. The values of the standard molar enthalpies of sublimation were obtained by Calvet microcalorimetry and corrected to T = 298.15 K. Combining these results, the standard molar enthalpies of formation of the compounds, in the gas phase, at T = 298.15 K, have been calculated, 5-methoxy-α-tetralone -(244.8 ± 1.9) kJ · mol?1, 6-methoxy-α-tetralone ?(243.0 ± 2.8) kJ · mol?1 and 7-methoxy-α-tetralone ?(242.3 ± 2.6) kJ · mol?1.Additionally, high-level density functional theory calculations using the B3LYP hybrid exchange–correlation energy functional with extended basis sets and more accurate correlated computational techniques of the MCCM/3 suite have been performed for the compounds. The agreement between experiment and theory gives confidence to estimate the enthalpy of formation of 8-methoxy-α-tetralone. Similar calculations were done for the 5-, 6-, 7- and 8-methoxy-β-tetralone, for which experimental work was not done.  相似文献

The precursor [FeIII(L)Cl (L = N,N′-bis(2′-hydroxy-3′-methyl-benzyliden)-1,7-diamino-4-azaheptane) is combined with [Mo(CN)8]4? yields a star shaped nona-nuclear cluster, [MoIV{(CN)FeIII(L)}8]Cl4. This Fe8Mo molecule is a high-spin system at room temperature. On cooling to 20 K some of the iron(III) centres in the molybdenum(IV)-star switch to the low-spin state as proven by Mössbauer spectroscopy. This molecule was deposited on TiO2 nanowires by electrostatic interactions between the cluster cations and the surface functionalized titanium oxide nanowire. The synthesis and surface binding of the multistable molecular switch was demonstrated using IR and UV–Vis spectroscopy (high-resolution) transmission electron microscopy ((HR)TEM) and Mössbauer spectroscopy. High- and low-temperature Mössbauer spectra indicate that the spin state transition of the free cluster molecules is preserved after surface binding. The above results emphasize the possibility of fabricating molecule-based low-dimensional structures by using traditional bottom-up approaches based on the electrostatic interaction between the cluster cations and polymer functionalized nanowires. These results can be generalized for the application to both charged and non-charged molecules.  相似文献

Artificial neural networks have been applied to unfold the neutron spectra and to calculate the effective dose, the ambient equivalent dose, and the personal dose equivalent for 252Cf, 241Am–Be, and 239Pu–Be neutron sources. The count rates that these neutron sources produce in a Bonner Sphere Spectrometer with a 6LiI(Eu) were utilized as input in both artificial neural networks. Spectra and the ambient dose equivalent were also obtained with BUNKIUT code and the UTA4 response matrix. With both procedures spectra and ambient dose equivalent agrees in less than 10%. The Artificial neural network technology is an alternative procedure to unfold neutron spectra and to perform neutron dosimetry.  相似文献
