An ultrasound assisted phase-transfer catalyzed epoxidation of 1,7-octadiene is greatly enhanced by using a cocatalyst of phosphotungstic acid in the presence of hydrogen peroxide in an organic solvent/aqueous solution two-phase medium. An active intermediate of the catalyst (Q3PW12(O)nO40, where Q = R4N+) produced from the reaction of phosphotungstic acid, hydrogen peroxide, and Aliquat 336. A rational mechanism of epoxidation is proposed to account for the reaction from the experimental evidence. The organic-phase reactions, including two series reactions, are the rate-controlling steps to produce two products, viz., 1,2-epoxy-7-octene and 1,2,7,8-diepoxyoctane. The kinetics of epoxidation, including the characteristics of the catalyst and the effect of the amount of cocatalyst, agitation speed, quaternary ammonium salts, amount of Aliquat 336, amount of hydrogen peroxide, amount of chloroform, pH value, organic solvents, and temperature on the conversion of 1,7-octadiene were investigated in detail. A kinetic model was built, from which a pseudo-first-order rate law is sufficient to describe the behavior of the reaction.  相似文献

An alternately stacked layer-by-layer composite of oppositely charged layered solids was obtained by solvothermal treatment of the monolayer colloidal dispersions of dodecylsulfate intercalated nickel aluminum LDH and cetyl trimethylammonium intercalated smectite in 1-octanol. This composite shows altered thermal decomposition behavior compared to the parent solids. On heating the LDH component of the composite decomposes to NiO, while the layer structure of the cationic clay is retained up to 800°C.  相似文献

A simple and convenient method for the one-pot synthesis of 3-(1H-indole-3-carbonyl)-2H-chromen-2-one derivatives from the reaction of 3-cyanoacetyl indole and salicylaldehyde in the presence of Na2CO3 in water: methanol (1:1) is described. Wider substrate scope, high yields, operational simplicity, and simple purification process make the protocol highly applicable in the synthesis of 3-(1H-indole-3-carbonyl)-2H-chromen-2-ones. For the first time, in vitro antioxidant and antimicrobial activity was studied. Compounds 5e , 7a , and 7b exhibits good radical scavenging ability against DPPH free radical. Compounds 7b , 5f , and 5g possess lower EC50 values than the Standards AA and BHA and thus proving their high reducing power. Compounds 5d and 5f show good antibacterial activity against gram-positive bacteria (MRSA) while compounds 5c , 7a , and 7b exhibits good antibacterial activity against Bacillus sp. Compounds 5b and 5e show good antibacterial activity against gram negative bacterial strains (Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae) and compounds 5g and 5h exhibits good antifungal activity against Candida albicans.  相似文献

A series of novel imidazole ligands were synthesized and characterized. Phosphorescence studies of series of heteroleptic cyclometalated iridium(III) complexes reveal that these complexes possess dominantly (3)MLCT and (3)π-π* excited states and the solvent shifts of these complexes are interpreted by Richardt-Dimroth and Marcus solvent functions. The results consistent with prior assignments on the absorption band to a metal-to-ligand charge transfer excited state associated with chelating ligand. Emission kinetic studies exploited that the radiative transition (k(r)), increases with increasing λ(em) and linear correlation exists between ln(k(nr)) and energy gap. Electronic transition theory is applied to study the effect of E(g) and ΔQ(e) on non-radiative transition (k(nr)). With a larger ΔQ(e), favouring vibrational overlap and leading to a larger value for k(nr).  相似文献

A rapid and sensitive RP-HPLC method with UV detection for routine control of pramipexole in tablets was developed. Chromatography was performed with mobile phase containing a mixture of acetonitrile/phosphate buffer (60/40; v/v) with a flow rate of 0.8 mL min−1. Quantitation was accomplished with the internal standard method; the procedure was validated by linearity (correlation coefficient = 0.99892), accuracy, robustness and intermediate precision. Limit of quantitation and limit of detection were found to be 4.5 μg and 1.4 μg respectively, which indicates the method is highly sensitive. Experimental design was used during validation to calculate method robustness and intermediate precision, for robustness test three factors were considered; percentage v/v of acetonitrile, flow rate and pH; an increase in the flow rate results in a decrease of concentration found of the drug, while the percentage of organic modifier and temperature have no important effect on the response. For intermediate precision measure the considered variables were: analyst, equipment, days and obtained RSD value (0.56%, n=24) which indicated a good precision of the analytical method. The method was found to be applicable for determination of the drug in tablet formulations and the results of the developed method were compared with those of the UV spectrophotometric method to access the active pramipexole content. The specific surface area of mercuric sulphide (a) has been determined by three methods: (a) gas adsorption method (N2 adsorption), (b) air permeability method and (c) microscopic method. The area values are compared. In the gas adsorption method, the effect of degassing temperature on the surface area of solid was studied. The p?p annihilation cross section has been measured with good resolution (~ 2 MeV RMS) in the mass range 1900–1960 MeV. No narrow structures are seen, the 90% confidence level upper limit being 8–12 mb MeV for the integrated area of a resonance in this mass range. However, we do not rule out a very narrow bump-dip structure seen in an earlier experiment in the 1935–1941 MeV mass interval. The data also do not support the existence of a broad structure previously reported at 1937 MeV.  相似文献

A series of mixed ligand ruthenium(II) complexes [Ru(pdto)(diimine)](ClO4)2/(PF6)2 1-3 and [Ru(bbdo)(diimine)](ClO4), 4-6, where pdto is 1,8-bis(pyrid-2-yl)-3,6-dithiooctane, bbdo is 1,8-bis(benzimidazol-2-yl)-3,6-dithiooctane and diimine is 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), dipyrido-[3,2-d:2',3'-f]-quinoxaline (dpq) and dipyrido[3,2-a:2',3'-c]phenazine (dppz), have been isolated and characterised by analytical and spectral methods. The complexes [Ru(pdto)(phen)](PF6)2 la, [Ru(pdto)(dpq)(Cl](PF6) 2a, [Ru(bbdo)(phen)](PF6)2 4a and [Ru(bbdo)(dpq)](ClO4)2 5 have been structurally characterized and their coordination geometries around ruthenium(II) are described as distorted octahedral. In la, 4a and 5 the two thioether sulfur and two py/bzim nitrogen atoms of the tetradentate pdto/bbdo ligand are folded around Ru(II) to give predominantly a "cis-alpha" configuration. (I)H NMR spectral data of the complexes support this configuration in solution. In [Ru(pdto)(dpq)Cl](PF6) 2a with a distorted octahedral coordination geometry, one of the two py nitrogens of pdto is not coordinated. The DNA binding constants (Kb: 2, 2.00 +/- 0.02 x 10(4) M(-1), s = 1.0; 3, 3.00 +/- 0.01 x 10(6) M(-1), s = 1.3) determined by absorption spectral titrations of the complexes with CT DNA reveal that 3 interacts with DNA more tightly than 2 through partial intercalation of the extended planar ring of coordinated dppz with the DNA base stack. The DNA binding affinities of the complexes increase with increase in the number of planar aromatic rings in the co-ligand, and on replacing both the py moieties in pdto complexes (1-3) by bzim moieties to give bbdo complexes (4-6). Upon interaction with CT DNA the complexes 1, 2, 5 and 6 show a decrease in anodic current in the cyclic voltammograms. On the other hand, interestingly, 3 and 4 show an increase in anodic current suggesting their involvement in electrocatalytic guanine oxidation. Interestingly, of all the complexes, only 6 alters the superhelicity of DNA upon binding with supercoiled pBR322 DNA. The cytotoxicities of the dppz complexes 3 and 6, which avidly bind to DNA, have been examined by screening them against cell lines of different cancer origins. It is noteworthy that 6 exhibits selectivity with higher cytotoxicity against the melanoma cancer cell line (A375) than other cell lines, potency approximately twice that of cisplatin and toxicity to normal cells 3 and 90 times less than cisplatin and adriamycin respectively.  相似文献
