The lyocell process involves dry jet—wet spinning of a solution of cellulose in N-methyl morpholine oxide monohydrate. Measurement of the elongation viscosity of lyocell is important for the design and optimization of the lyocell process. We present a useful method for the determination of the elongation viscosity of lyocell by using a combination of experimental measurements on a semi-hyperbolic die and viscoelastic simulations.  相似文献

An efficient and eco‐friendly method has been developed for the synthesis of selenadiazolo benzimidazoles by the condensation of N‐benzylbenzo[c][1,2,5]selenadiazole‐4,5‐diamine with various aromatic aldehydes catalyzed by xanthan sulfuric acid. All the synthesized compounds 5a , 5b , 5c , 5d , 5e , 5f , 5g , 5h , 5i , 5j were evaluated for in vitro antibacterial activity against Gram‐positive bacterial strains (Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, and Streptococcus pyogenes), and Gram‐negative bacterial strains (Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumonia, and Salmonella typhimurium) and antifungal against Aspergillus niger, Candida albicans, and Aspergillus flavus (Fungi). Compound 5i emerged as the most interesting compound in this series exhibiting excellent antimicrobial activity.  相似文献

Mass spectrometric imaging (MSI) in combination with electrospray mass spectrometry (ESI-MS) is a powerful technique for visualization and identification of a variety of different biomolecules directly from thin tissue sections. As commonly used tools for molecular reporting, fluorescent proteins are molecular reporter tools that have enabled the elucidation of a multitude of biological pathways and processes. To combine these two approaches, we have performed targeted MS analysis and MALDI-MSI visualization of a tandem dimer (td)Tomato red fluorescent protein, which was expressed exclusively in the hypoxic regions of a breast tumor xenograft model. For the first time, a fluorescent protein has been visualized by both optical microscopy and MALDI-MSI. Visualization of tdTomato by MALDI-MSI directly from breast tumor tissue sections will allow us to simultaneously detect and subsequently identify novel molecules present in hypoxic regions of the tumor. MS and MALDI-MSI of fluorescent proteins, as exemplified in our study, is useful for studies in which the advantages of MS and MSI will benefit from the combination with molecular approaches that use fluorescent proteins as reporters.

A sample of over 25,000 fully measured neutrino and antineutrino charged current interactions in BEBC includes 192 dilepton candidates. The prompt signal after subtraction of background is 41 ±7µ+ e -, 35±7µ+µ- events from \(\bar v\) interactions, and 32±7µ-µ+ events from ν interactions. There are 2 trileptons, µ-µ- e + and µ-µ-µ+. Results are compared with other experimental data and with the standard model. Limits to prompt like sign µ+ e +, µ+µ+ and µ-µ- signals are given and compared with other experiments and with theoretical calculations.  相似文献

TiO2 nanoparticle of size 7.8 nm are synthesized by wet chemical route and characterized by low-frequency Raman scattering (LFRS), transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and X-ray diffraction. The low frequency peaks in the Raman spectra have been explained using the Lamb's theory that predicts the vibrational frequencies of a homogeneous elastic body of spherical shape. Our results show that the observed low-frequency Raman scattering originates from the spherical (l=0) and quadrupolar vibrations (l=2) of the spheriodal mode due to the confinement of acoustic vibrations in TiO2 nanoparticles. In addition to the low-frequency peak due to the vibrational quadrupolar and spheriodal modes, a band is also observed, which is assigned to the Raman forbidden torsional l=2 mode originating from the near spherical shape of the TiO2 nanoparticles. The size distribution is also obtained from LFRS, which is in good agreement with TEM.  相似文献

This paper demonstrates experimentally and numerically that a significant modification of spontaneous emission rate can be achieved near the surface of a three-dimensional photonic crystal.In experiments,semiconductor core-shell quantum dots are intentionally confined in a thin polymer film on which a three-dimensional colloidal photonic crystal is fabricated.The spontaneous emission rate of quantum dots is characterised by conventional and time-resolved photoluminescence (PL) measurements.The modification of the spontaneous emission rate,which is reflected in the change of spectral shape and PL lifetime,is clearly observed.While an obvious increase in the PL lifetime is found at most wavelengths in the band gap,a significant reduction in the PL lifetime by one order of magnitude is observed at the short-wavelength band edge.Numerical simulation reveals a periodic modulation of spontaneous emission rate with decreasing modulation strength when an emitter is moved away from the surface of the photonic crystal.It is supported by the fact that the modification of spontaneous emission rate is not pronounced for quantum dots distributed in a thick polymer film where both enhancement and suppression are present simultaneously.This finding provides a simple and effective way for improving the performance of light emitting devices.  相似文献

Nitrated and chlorinated derivatives ofp-xylene-formaldehyde resin were prepared and the resin samples were characterised by IR and NMR spectra. The average molecular weight of the resin samples was determined by vapour pressure osmometry. Kinetic parameters were determined from differential thermal analysis and thermogravimetry using Chatterjee, Anderson-Freeman, Broido, Flynn and Wall, Reich and Kissinger methods.  相似文献

A convenient and simple method for the synthesis of novel 3,4‐dihydrofuran‐annulated coumarins, 3‐(hydroxymethyl)‐2H‐furo[3,2‐c]chromen‐4(3H)‐ones 5a , 5b , 5c , 5d , 5e , 5f , 5g , by combined Claisen rearrangement and intramolecular regioselective oxidative cyclization of 4‐O‐allyl coumarin intermediates 3a , 3b , 3c , 3d , 3e , 3f , 3g using inexpensive oxidizing agent m‐CPBA is described. The reaction proceeds smoothly by tandem epoxidation/regioselective 5‐exo‐tet‐intramolecular ring opening. The structures of synthesized compounds are established on the basis of spectral data including IR, 1H NMR, and mass and elemental analyses.  相似文献

New hybrid bis(phosphine)(pyrazole)borate tripodal ligands ([PhBPtBu2(pz')]-) are reported that support pseudotetrahedral iron in the oxidation states +1, +2, +3, and +4. The higher oxidation states are stabilized by a terminal FeNR linkage. Of particular interest is the generation and thorough characterization of an S = 1 FeIVNR+ imide cation using this new ligand system. The latter species can be observed electrochemically and spectroscopically, and its solid-state crystal structure is reported.  相似文献
