The 3DAP allows to image a material in 3D on a nearly atomic scale. It is based on the field evaporation occurring at the
surface of a biased tip like shape specimen with an end radius of 50 nm. Surface atoms are removed one by one from the tip
by means of fs laser pulses so that the physical process involved in this laser enhanced field evaporation might correspond
to the very early stages of the ablation process. This technique makes possible to distinguish between different regimes of
material removal such as thermal evaporation or in the case of metals or semiconductors an evaporation assisted by the rectification
of the optical field at the surface. In this paper the principle of the 3DAP is presented and the underlying physics involved

Summary The synthesis of structural analogs and the process of drug discovery have evolved dramatically through recent advances in solid-phase synthesis reagents and automated screening systems. As molecular diversity strategies emerge, the need for automated target-based selection of lead candidates becomes equally important. Multidimensional automated chromatographic techniques coupled to electrospray ionization mass spectrometry facilitate the selection process and provide maximum characterization information in a single screening run. The capture of tightly bound affinity leads by target biomolecules, followed by subsequent release and high-resolution separation with sensitive detection, significantly reduces the time required to identify and characterize lead compounds. This automated multidimensional chromatographic approach coupled with mass spectrometry, Selectronics, was used with several organic and natural libraries to demonstrate an automated target-based screening technique to select for high-affinity binders as potential lead compounds.Abbreviations ESI

Large enhancements have been observed in the sub-barrier fusion cross sections for Ti+Ni systems in our previous studies.
Coupled channel calculations incorporating couplings to 2+ and 3− states failed to explain these enhancements completely. A possibilty of transfer channels contributing to the residual enhancements
had been suggested. In order to investigate the role of relevant transfer channels, measurements of one- and two-nucleon transfer

We consider a microscopic model for the failure of soft adhesives in tension based on ideas of bond rupture under dynamic loading. By focusing on adhesive failure under loading at constant velocity, we demonstrate that bimodal curves of stress against strain may occur due to effects of finite polymer chain or bond length and characterize the loading conditions under which such bimodal behavior is observed. The results of this analysis are in qualitative agreement with experiments performed on unconfined adhesives in which failure does not occur by cavitation. 相似文献
