Napoleon’s quasigroups are idempotent medial quasigroups satisfying the identity (ab·b)(b·ba) = b. In works by V. Volenec geometric terminology has been introduced in medial quasigroups, enabling proofs of many theorems of plane geometry to be carried out by formal calculations in a quasigroup. This class of quasigroups is particularly suited for proving Napoleon’s theorem and other similar theorems about equilateral triangles and centroids.  相似文献

Eu(III) and Tb(III) Schiff base complexes are applicable in various fields such as sensing, assays, screening protocols in vitro, and imaging studies in vitro or in vivo. Fluorescent europium and terbium complexes and their interaction with cell penetrating peptide (KKKRKC) can represent an excellent key for understanding pathway of peptide transportation though cell membrane and the application of Schiff base complexes as potential antibacterial drugs. The Schiff base–metal complexes and its conjugates with peptide were tested for their antibacterial activity against Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Salmonella typhimurium. Schiff base–metal complexes conjugated with peptide show minor toxicity in normal human PNT1A cells and high antibacterial activity against P. aeruginosa and S. typhimurium, where IC50 down to 125.9 and/or 36.1 µM were found for P. aeruginosa and S. typhimurium, respectively. Our results strongly suggest that Schiff base–metal complexes conjugated with peptide have great potential to be developed into highly effective antibacterial drug.  相似文献

The present work is aimed to synthesize CdTe/ZnSe core/shell quantum dots (QDs) in an easy way and to explore the possibilities of its application in in vitro imaging of chicken tissue and embryo. The QDs were prepared using microwave irradiation with different temperatures, which is a very easy and less time‐consuming method. Subsequently, these QDs were characterized by spectrofluorimetry, Transmission Electron Microscopy, X‐ray fluorescence analysis and Dynamic Light Scattering measurement. A blueshifting of the emission was found when ZnSe was deposited on CdTe QDs. The QDs showed its fluorescence emission quantum yields up to 25%. They were applied into chicken embryos and breast muscle tissues to study their efficiency in in vitro imaging. All the QDs of different color were able to visualize in in vitro imaging. The highest fluorescence intensity was detected in the case of red QDs prepared at 100°C. The green and red QDs were possible to detect up to the depth of 3 and 4 mm of the tissue, respectively.  相似文献

In this work, we study the Gross–Pitaevskii hierarchy on general—rational and irrational—rectangular tori of dimensions two and three. This is a system of infinitely many linear partial differential equations which arises in the rigorous derivation of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation. We prove a conditional uniqueness result for the hierarchy. In two dimensions, this result allows us to obtain a rigorous derivation of the defocusing cubic nonlinear Schrödinger equation from the dynamics of many-body quantum systems. On irrational tori, this question was posed as an open problem in the previous work of Kirkpatrick, Schlein, and Staffilani.  相似文献

Doxorubicin (DOX) is one of the most effective cytotoxic agents against malignant diseases. However, the clinical application of DOX is limited, due to dose-related toxicity. The development of DOX nanoformulations that significantly reduce its toxicity and affect the metabolic pathway of the drug requires improved methods for the quantitative determination of DOX metabolites with high specificity and sensitivity. This study aimed to develop a high-throughput method based on high-performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection (HPLC-FD) for the quantification of DOX and its metabolites in the urine of laboratory animals after treatment with different DOX nanoformulations. The developed method was validated by examining its specificity and selectivity, linearity, accuracy, precision, limit of detection, and limit of quantification. The DOX and its metabolites, doxorubicinol (DOXol) and doxorubicinone (DOXon), were successfully separated and quantified using idarubicin (IDA) as an internal standard (IS). The linearity was obtained over a concentration range of 0.05–1.6 μg/mL. The lowest limit of detection and limit of quantitation were obtained for DOXon at 5.0 ng/mL and 15.0 ng/mL, respectively. For each level of quality control (QC) samples, the inter- and intra-assay precision was less than 5%. The accuracy was in the range of 95.08–104.69%, indicating acceptable accuracy and precision of the developed method. The method was applied to the quantitative determination of DOX and its metabolites in the urine of rats treated by novel nanoformulated poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (DOX-PLGA), and compared with a commercially available DOX solution for injection (DOX-IN) and liposomal-DOX (DOX-MY).  相似文献

A simple experiment to characterize the gating properties of X‐ray area detectors using pulsed X‐ray sources is presented. For a number of time‐resolved experiments the gating uniformity of area detectors is important. Relative gating delays between individual modules and readout chips of PILATUS2 series area X‐ray detectors have been observed. For three modules of a PILATUS 300K‐W unit the maximum gating offset between the modules is found to be as large as 30 ns. On average, the first photosensor module is found to be triggered 15 ns and 30 ns later than the second and the third modules, respectively.  相似文献

Tetraphosphorus decasulfide (P(4)S(10)) in pyridine has been used as a thionating agent for a long period of time. The moisture-sensitive reagent has now been isolated in crystalline form, and the detailed structure has been determined by X-ray crystallography. The thionating power of this storable reagent has been studied and transferred to solvents such as acetonitrile in which it has proven to be synthetically useful and exceptionally selective. Its properties have been compared with the so-called Lawesson reagent (LR). Particularly interesting are the results from thionations at relatively high temperatures (~165 °C) in dimethyl sulfone as solvent. Under these conditions, for instance, acridone and 3-acetylindole could quickly be transformed to the corresponding thionated derivatives. Glycylglycine similarly gave piperazinedithione. At these temperatures, LR is inefficient due to rapid decomposition. The thionated products are generally cleaner and more easy to obtain because in the crystalline reagent, impurities which invariably are present in the conventional reagents, P(4)S(10) in pyridine or LR, have been removed.  相似文献

Light emitting porous silicon samples with different porosities, i.e. crystalline sizes, were produced from the low level doped p‐type silicon wafers by the anodization process. The effects of strong phonon confinement, redshift and broadening, were found on the O(Γ) phonon mode of the Raman spectra recorded at non‐resonant excitation condition using a near infrared 1064 nm laser excitation wavelength. Similarly, the blueshift of the photoluminescence peak was observed by reducing the crystalline sizes. Vibrational and optical findings were analysed within the existing models of confinement on the vibrational and electronic states of silicon nanocrystals. Since the energy of the photoluminescence peak of small nanocrystals also depends on the oxygen content on the surface of nanocrystals, the surface oxidation states were examined using infrared and energy dispersive spectroscopy. The partial coverage of the surface of nanocrystals was found due to the sample exposure to air. As a consequence, the photoluminescence energy did not increase as would be expected from the quantum confinement model. These results further indicate that the oxygen passivation along with the quantum confinement determines the electronic states of the silicon nanocrystals in porous silicon.
