In subnormal glow discharge under d.c. excitation at different pressure in a varying transverse magnetic field (0 to 30 G) some measurements have been carried out for various initial average tube currents. The voltage across the discharge increases and average tube current and residual current decreases in the magnetic field. With the help of Beckman’s expression [4] for the axial field and the electron density distribution in a transverse magnetic field the observed variation of current and voltage can be satisfactorily explained. The variation of axial electric field with transverse magnetic field can be represented to a fair degree of accuracy by the derived equation. The behaviour of residual current with magnetic field has been observed in these oscillations.  相似文献

To improve our understanding of the combustion characteristics of propyne, new experimental data for ignition delay times (IDTs), pyrolysis speciation profiles and flame speed measurements are presented in this study. IDTs for propyne ignition were obtained at equivalence ratios of 0.5, 1.0, and 2.0 in ‘air’ at pressures of 10 and 30 bar, over a wide range of temperatures (690–1460 K) using a rapid compression machine and a high-pressure shock tube. Moreover, experiments were performed in a single-pulse shock tube to study propyne pyrolysis at 2 bar pressure and in the temperature range 1000–1600 K. In addition, laminar flame speeds of propyne were studied at an unburned gas temperature of 373 K and at 1 and 2 bar for a range of equivalence ratios. A detailed chemical kinetic model is provided to describe the pyrolytic and combustion characteristics of propyne across this wide-ranging set of experimental data. This new mechanism shows significant improvements in the predictions for the IDTs, fuel pyrolysis and flame speeds for propyne compared to AramcoMech3.0. The improvement in fuel reactivity predictions in the new mechanism is due to the inclusion of the propyne + H?2 reaction system along with ?H radical addition to the triple bonds of propyne and subsequent reactions.  相似文献

An integral equation formulation for buoyancy-driven convection problems is developed and illustrated. Buoyancy-driven convection in a bounded cylindrical geometry with a free surface is studied for a range of aspect ratios and Nusselt numbers. The critical Rayleigh number, the nature of the cellular motion, and the heat transfer enhancement are computed using linear theory. Green's functions are used to convert the linear problem into linear Fredholm integral equations. Theorems are proved which establish the properties of the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions of the linear integral operator which appears in these equations.  相似文献

A hybrid optical-digital image processing system is developed for deblurring out-of-focus pictures. The optical part is a dual-channel non-coherent processor which implements the Wiener filter for deblurring through appropriate pupil functions. The methods of implementing the bipolar PSF in a non-coherent processor are described, as are the methods of determining the pupil functions from the given PSFs. The digital part of the processor subtracts or demodulates the outputs from the dual-channel optical processor to give the final deblurred picture. The pupil functions are experimentally realized and the deblurred outputs are presented.  相似文献

Reactions of hydroxyl (OH) radicals with 1-butene (k(1)), trans-2-butene (k(2)), and cis-2-butene (k(3)) were studied behind reflected shock waves over the temperature range 880-1341 K and at pressures near 2.2 atm. OH radicals were produced by shock-heating tert-butyl hydroperoxide, (CH(3))(3)-CO-OH, and monitored by narrow-line width ring dye laser absorption of the well-characterized R(1)(5) line of the OH A-X (0, 0) band near 306.7 nm. OH time histories were modeled using a comprehensive C(5) oxidation mechanism, and rate constants for the reaction of OH with butene isomers were extracted by matching modeled and measured OH concentration time histories. We present the first high-temperature measurement of OH + cis-2-butene and extend the temperature range of the only previous high-temperature study for both 1-butene and trans-2-butene. With the potential energy surface calculated using CCSD(T)/6-311++G(d,p)//QCISD/6-31G(d), the rate constants and branching fractions for the H-abstraction channels of the reaction of OH with 1-butene were calculated in the temperature range 300-1500 K. Corrections for variational and tunneling effects as well as hindered-rotation treatments were included. The calculations are in good agreement with current and previous experimental data and with a recent theoretical study.  相似文献

A variety of 5‐aryl‐(20S)‐camptothecin derivatives were synthesized by the reaction of 5‐hydroxy‐(20S)‐camptothecin with aromatic hydrocarbons under Friedel‐Craft reaction conditions in moderate to good yield as diastereomeric pairs. The methodology was then extended for the synthesis of 5‐amido‐(20S)‐camptothecin derivatives by reacting 5‐hydroxy‐(20S)‐camptothecin with alkyl and aryl nitriles under Ritter type reaction conditions. The reaction is presumed to proceed through an iminium ion intermediate under Friedel Craft and Ritter type reaction condition, which is further trapped by nucleophile present in the reaction medium. The Strecker reaction was performed via a one-pot three component condensation of hetero aromatic/aromatic aldehydes, secondary amines and trimetylsilyl cyanide in the presence of propylphosphonic anhydride(T3P~) to accomplish the corresponding a-aminonitriles. The title compounds, both C23H21ClN2OS, are isomeric, with (I) and (II) being the N‐3‐methyl­phenyl and N‐2‐methyl­phenyl derivatives, respectively. The dihedral angle between the 4‐chloro­phenyl group and the thio­phene ring in (II) [38.1 (1)°] is larger than that in (I) [7.1 (1)°], indicating steric repulsion between the chloro­phenyl and o‐toluidine groups in (II). In both compounds, an intramolecular N—H⋯N hydrogen bond forms a pseudo‐six‐membered ring, thus locking the molecular conformation. In the crystal structures, mol­ecules are connected via N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming chains along the b axis in (I) and along the c axis in (II). Intermolecular C—H⋯O/S and π–π interactions are also observed in (II), but not in (I).  相似文献

We describe a blue native polyacrylamide gel electrophoretic technique that allows the facile detection, quantitation and purification of three NADPH-producing enzymes. Glucose 6-phosphate dehydrogenase, malic enzyme and NADP-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase were detected simultaneously. Activity staining based on the formation of NADPH from the respective substrates and the subsequent precipitation of formazan enabled the relative quantitation of enzymatic activities, while Coomassie staining on one-dimensional or two-dimensional gels helped monitor the amount of protein associated with these enzymatic activities. This technique provides a simple and effective route to obtain homogeneous protein for further analyses and also enables the screening of these NADPH-producing enzymes in various cellular systems.  相似文献

A protocol for the Suzuki–Miyaura coupling of novel 2‐(6‐chloropyridazin‐3‐yl)‐5‐(aryl/heteroarylsulfonyl)‐2,5‐diazabicyclo[2.2.1]heptanes and heteroarylboronic acids to afford variety of coupled products was realized. Pd‐PEPPSI‐IPr catalyst was found to be a powerful and reusable catalyst under relatively mild reaction conditions.  相似文献
