Photolysis of a hexane solution of ferrocenylacetylene and sulfur powder in presence of Cr(CO)6 resulted in the formation of 2,6-diferrocenyldithiine and 2,5-diferrocenylthiophene. Similar reactions with Mo(CO)6 or W(CO)6 gave only the thiophene derivative. Formation of ferrocenyl-substituted thioketone complexes was observed in the reaction of ferrocenylacetylene with water and sulfur, in presence of W(CO)6. Use of D2O confirmed water as source of protons for the conversion of acetylenic CH to CH3.  相似文献

The new complexes [Mn(Hpchce)2(o-phen)], {2[Mn(pchcm)(o-phen)2]}·7H2O and [Ni(Hpchcm)(o-phen)2]Cl·CH3OH with [N′-(pyridine-4-carbonyl)-hydrazine]-carbodithioic acid ethyl ester (H2pchce) and [N′-(pyridine-4-carbonyl)-hydrazine]-carbodithioic acid methyl ester (H2pchcm) have been synthesized, containing o-phenanthroline (o-phen) as a coligand. These ligands and their complexes have been characterized by elemental analyses, IR, magnetic susceptibility and single crystal X-ray data. H2pchce (2), [Mn(Hpchce)2(o-phen)] (3) {2[Mn(pchcm)(o-phen)2]}·7H2O (4) and [Ni(Hpchcm)(o-phen)2]Cl·CH3OH (5) crystallized in the monoclinic system, space group Pc, C2/c, P21/n and P21/n, respectively. The (N, O) donor sites of the bidentate ligands chelate the Mn(II) and Ni(II) centers forming a five-membered CN2OM ring. The resulting complexes are paramagnetic and have a distorted octahedral geometry.  相似文献

Clusters of galaxies are excellent probes of cosmic structure and evolution. X-ray studies of clusters provide some of their key parameters, viz., temperature of the hot intra-cluster gas, its metallicity, X-ray luminosity and surface brightness giving mass distribution and mass-flow rate in the case of cooling flows. X-ray measurements for a large sample of clusters have lead to estimates of the total gravitating mass in them, which can be compared to the virial masses derived from dynamical considerations and gravitational lensing in some of them. X-ray derived total masses are consistent with masses obtained from the other methods after the effects due to the presence of cooling flows are taken into account in the analyses. Estimated virial masses, lack of evolution in X-ray properties, and detection of several very hot clusters at high redshifts indicate a Universe with a low value (≤ 0.3) for the Ω parameter.  相似文献

Reactions of 2‐isopropoxy‐1, 3, 2‐ benzodioxaborole with equivalent amounts of Schiff base ligands having two hydroxyl groups ( 1a–3a ) yield mononuclear derivatives with one residual hydroxy group. The reactions of these mononuclear derivatives with hexamethyldisilazane in a 2:1 ratio yield heterodinuclear derivatives. All these newly synthesized derivatives have been characterized by elemental analyses and molecular weight measurements. Tentative structures have been proposed on the basis of IR and NMR (1H, 13C, 11B,29Si)spectral data and Fab‐mass studies. DC conductivity of conjugated polymer‐single‐walled carbon nanotube (SWNT) composite films has been measured for different SWNT concentrations. The composite was prepared by dispersing SWNTs in the poly (3‐octylthiophene), P3OT matrix already dissolved in xylene. The conductivity of the composite films showed a rapid increase as the SWNT concentration increases beyond a certain value. This behavior is explained in terms of percolating paths provided by the SWNTs in the volume of polymer matrix. To investigate the effect of length of nanotubes on the percolation conductivity, different SWNT samples were employed with similar diameter but varying tube lengths. It was found that the conductivity of the composite films is strongly dominated by the length of the nanotubes. Lower percolation limit and high conductivity value of composite films is observed for longer nanotubes. We report here high-pressure x-ray diffraction (XRD) studies on tellurium (Te) at room temperature up to 40 GPa in the diamond anvil cell (DAC). The XRD measurements clearly indicate a sequence of pressure-induced phase transitions with increasing pressure. The data obtained in the pressure range 1 bar to 40 GPa fit five different crystalline phases out of Te: hexagonal Te (I) → monoclinic Te(II) → orthorhombic Te (III) → Β-Po-type Te(IV) → body-centered-cubic Te(V) at 4, 6.2, 11 and 27 GPa, respectively. The volume changes across these transitions are 10%, 1.5%, 0.3% and 0.5%, respectively. Self consistent electronic band structure calculations both for ambient and high pressure phases have been carried out using the tight binding linear muffin tin orbital (TB-LMTO) method within the atomic-sphere approximation (ASA). Reported here apart from the energy band calculations are the density of states (DOS), Fermi energy (E f) at various high-pressure phases. Our calculations show that the ambient pressure hexagonal phase has a band gap of 0.42 eV whereas high-pressure phases are found to be metallic. We also found that the pressure induced semiconducting to metallic transition occurs at about 4 GPa which corresponds to the hexagonal phase to monoclinic phase transition. Equation of state and bulk modulus of different high-pressure phases have also been discussed.  相似文献

The reactions of dimethyltin dichloride with nitrogen and sulfur donor ligands derived by condensation of S‐benzyldithiocarbazate with indol‐3‐carboxylaldehyde, thiophene‐2‐aldehyde and furfuraldehyde have been investigated in 1:1 and 1:2 molar ratios in anhydrous alcohol. These ligands act as mononegatively charged bidentate species and coordinate to the central tin(IV) atom through the thiosulfur by proton exchange with the azomethine nitrogen. The newly synthesized complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, conductance measurements and molecular weight determinations. The mode of bonding and the geometry of the complexes have been suggested on the basis of infrared, electronic and 1H, 13C and 119Sn NMR spectroscopy, and probable structures have been assigned to these complexes. A few representative ligands and their tin(IV) complexes have also been screened for their antifungal and antibacterial activities and found to be quite active in this respect. This paper reports a study of the effect of temperature and strain amplitude on Young’s modulus and ultrasonic damping in ceramic samples of graphitelike boron nitride prepared in the RF and USA by different technologies and using various additions to improve the mechanical properties of the ceramic. It is shown that, in addition to the influence on the effective elasticity modulus, additions improve the sample microplasticity, which apparently increases the strength of the material.  相似文献

In the present communication a method based on the three body forces for the evaluation of second and third order elastic constants of mixed ammonium halides has been described. The Lundqvist three body potential is used along with long range Coulombian and short-range overlap repulsive potentials. The latter is taken of the Born-Mayer type and effective up to first neighbours only. It has been assumed that the charge transfer and short-range parameters depend linearly on the composition of solid solutions. Theoretical results obtained, for the entire range of compositions of mixed NH4Cl and NH4Br, have been compared with the recently measured experimental values and the theoretical results of other workers, whenever these are available.The authors are thankful to Dr. J.
