The sesquiterpene lactones xanthanodiene, 4-epi-xanthanol, 4-epi-isoxanthanol, and 4-epi-xanthinin, as well as the xanthanolide derivative 4-oxo-bedfordia acid were isolated from the chloroform extracts of roots and flowers of Xanthium cavanillesii Schouw. The identities of these compounds were corroborated through comparison of their spectroscopic data, including IR, MS, and 1H and 13C NMR assignments, with literature reports. In addition, the structural characterization of 4-oxo-bedfordia acid was revisited and a comprehensive spectroscopic study of the compound is presented. This is to our knowledge the first phytochemical investigation of the roots of X. cavanillesii, and of flowers in the whole Xanthium genus.  相似文献

A heart-cut two-dimensional high-performance liquid chromatography method for enantiomeric determination of salbutamol, salmeterol and atenolol in urine is presented. It involves the use of two separations in a liquid chromatography?Cliquid chromatography achiral?Cchiral coupling. Target compounds were previously separated in a primary column (Kinetex? HILIC, 2.6???m, 150?×?2.1?mm I.D.) with a mixture of MeOH:ACN:ammonium acetate buffer (5?mM, pH 6) 90:5:5 (v/v/v) as mobile phase at a flow rate of 0.40?mL?min?1. Enantiomeric separation was carried out by transferring peak of each compound through a switching valve to a vancomycin chiral column (Chirobiotic? V, 2.6???m, 150?×?2.1?mm I.D.) using MeOH:ammonium acetate buffer (2?mM, pH 4) 97:3 (v/v) as mobile phase at a flow rate of 0.50?mL?min?1. Ultraviolet detection was done at 227?nm. The method was applied to determine target analytes in urine samples after enzymatic hydrolysis with ??-glucuronidase from Helix pomatia, followed by a solid-phase extraction procedure using Isolute? HCX mixed-mode cartridges. Extraction recoveries ranged from 82 to 90?% in urine samples. Detection limits were 0.091?C0.095???g for each enantiomer of atenolol and between 0.058 and 0.076 and 0.18?C0.14???g for enantiomers of salbutamol and salmeterol, respectively (3?mL of urine). Linearity ranges were between 0.5 and 10???g?mL?1. Intraday and interday reproducibilities of enantiomeric ratio and enantiomeric fraction, expressed as relative standard deviation, were between 1.9 and 9.0?%. The optimized method was successfully applied to the analysis of urine samples obtained from excretion studies in volunteers and in freeze-dried urine samples, containing urinary components with MW?<?10,000 and components with MW?>?10,000, spiked with different amounts of studied drugs.  相似文献

On-vial immobilized CdSe quantum dots (QDs) are applied for the first time as chemiluminescent probes for the detection of trace metal ions. Among 17 metal ions tested, inhibition of the chemiluminescence when CdSe QDs are oxidized by H2O2 was observed for Sb, Se and Cu. Liquid–liquid–liquid microextraction was implemented in order to improve the selectivity and sensitivity of the chemiluminescent assay.  相似文献

In this work the synthesis of poly(butyl acrylate)‐b‐poly(2‐{[(D ‐glucosamin‐2‐N‐yl)carbonyl]oxy}ethyl methacrylate) (PBA‐b‐PHEMAGl) diblock glycopolymer and poly(2‐{[(D ‐glucosamin‐2‐N‐yl)carbonyl]oxy}ethyl methacrylate)‐b‐poly(butyl acrylate)‐b‐poly(2‐{[(D ‐glucosamin‐2‐N‐yl)carbonyl]oxy}ethyl methacrylate) (PHEMAGl‐b‐PBA‐b‐PHEMAGl) was performed via atom transfer radical polymerization. Monofunctional and difunctional poly(butyl acrylate) macroinitiators were used to synthesize the well‐defined diblock and triblock glycopolymers by chain extension reaction with the glycomonomer HEMAGl. The self‐assembly of these glycopolymers in aqueous solution was studied by dynamic light scattering and transmission electron microcopy, showing the coexistence of spherical micelles and polymeric vesicles. In addition, the biomolecular recognition capacity of these micelles and vesicles, containing glucose moieties in their coronas, was investigated using the lectin Concanavalin A, Canavalia Ensiformis, which specifically interacts with glucose groups. The binding capacity of Concanavalin A with glycopolymer is influenced by the copolymer composition, increasing with the length of HEMAGl glycopolymer segment in the block copolymer. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. An arsenic chemical speciation study was performed in 2000, using air filters on which total suspended particles (TSP) were collected, from the city of Huelva, a medium size city with huge industrial influence in SW Spain. Different procedures for extraction of the arsenic species were performed using water, NH2OH.HCl, and H3PO4 solutions, with either microwave or ultrasonic radiation. The best optimised extraction methods were use of 100 mmol L–1 NH2OH.HCl and 10 mmol L–1 H3PO4 and microwave radiation for 4 min. High-performance liquid chromatography coupled with hydride generation and atomic fluorescence spectrometry (HPLC–HG–AFS) was employed for determination of the arsenic species. The results from 12 TSP air filters collected on a monthly basis showed extraction was quantitative (94% with NH2OH.HCl and 86% H3PO4). Only inorganic arsenic species (arsenite and arsenate) were detected. The mean arsenite concentration was 1.2±0.3 ng m–3 (minimum 0.3 ng m–3, maximum 1.8 ng m–3). The mean arsenate concentration was 10.4±1.8 ng m–3, with greater monthly variations than arsenite (minimum 2.1 ng m–3, maximum 30.6 ng m–3). The high level of arsenic species in the TSP samples can be related to a copper smelter located in the region.  相似文献
