Many acoustic problems (especially in environmental acoustics) involve half-space domains bounded by a plane subjected to normal admittance boundary conditions. In the "low" frequency domain, the numerical treatment of such problems usually relies on boundary element methods based on a particular Green's function suited for the half-(admittance) plane. In the present paper, an alternative hybrid finite/infinite element scheme is proposed. The method relies on a direct treatment of nonhomogeneous boundary conditions along infinite element edges (or faces). Weizs?cker formula for ground-state energies. In particular, effects from the Wigner energy and shell structure on the symmetry
energy are investigated. Strong correlations in the parameter space prevent a clear isolation of the surface contribution.
Use of neutron skin information improves the situation. The result of the analysis appears consistent with a rather soft density

In this paper, we consider viscoelastic stresses T11, T12 and T22 arising in the stagnation flow of a dilute polymer solution; in particular, we consider an upper convected Maxwell (UCM) fluid. We present exact solutions to the coupled partial differential equations describing the viscoelastic stresses and deduce the results for the stress T22 of Becherer et al. [P. Becherer, A.N. Morozov, W. van Saarloos, Scaling of singular structures in extensional flow of dilute polymer solutions, J. Non-Newtonian Fluid Mech. 153 (2008) 183–190]. As we considered the viscoelastic stresses over two spatial variables, we are able to study the effect of variable boundary data at the inflow. Scanning tunneling microscopy was used to characterize self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) of octanethiol on Au(111), created using vapor deposition at elevated temperatures and ambient pressure. Monolayers contained large, close-packed ( radical3 x radical3)R30 degrees domains with sizes considerably larger than those typically formed from conventional solution-phase preparation and with crystallographically straight domain boundaries. New striped surface phases were also observed, including a 13 x radical3 phase with a density that was 69% of the close-packed density; these striped phases appeared topographically higher in STM images than close-packed monolayers. 相似文献

We present the use of gold sensitizers [Au(SIPr)(Cbz)] (PhotAu 1) and [Au(IPr)(Cbz)] (PhotAu 2) as attractive alternatives to state-of-the-art iridium-based systems. These novel photocatalysts are deployed in [2 + 2] cycloadditions of diallyl ethers and N-tosylamides. The reactions proceed in short reaction times and in environmentally friendly solvents. [Au(SIPr)Cbz] and [Au(IPr)(Cbz)] have higher triplet energy (ET) values (66.6 and 66.3 kcal mol−1, respectively) compared to commonly used iridium photosensitizers. These ET values permit the use of these gold complexes as sensitizers enabling energy transfer catalysis involving unprotected indole derivatives, a substrate class previously inaccessible with state-of-the-art Ir photocatalysts. The photosynthesis of unprotected tetracyclic spiroindolines via intramolecular [2 + 2] cycloaddition using our simple mononuclear gold sensitizer is readily achieved. Mechanistic studies support the involvement of triplet–triplet energy transfer (TTEnT) for both [2 + 2] photocycloadditions.We present the use of gold sensitizers [Au(SIPr)(Cbz)] (PhotAu 1) and [Au(IPr)(Cbz)] (PhotAu 2) as attractive alternatives to state-of-the-art iridium-based systems. 相似文献

The synthesis of multimetal oxides containing pentavalent elements like Nb and Ta out of an aqueous solution is very complicated due to the extremely high sensitivity of these metals towards hydrolysis. Moreover the only water-soluble starting compound is the oxalate which is not very suited for gel formation. Nevertheless, from Nb-oxalate it is possible to prepare a water-soluble Nb(V)-precursor by chemical modification. The synthesized precursor remains stable in the pH-range needed for gel formation. This Nb(V)-precursor is used for the synthesis of the ferroelectric material SrBi2Nb2O9 (SBN). An aqueous acetate-citrate solution-gel precursor for SBN was prepared. The chemical homogeneity of this precursor was investigated by means of TEM-experiments. All metal ions were found to be homogeneously dispersed in the precursor gel at least down to 10 nm. The SBN phase formation is followed by means of X-ray Diffraction. It has been shown that the perovskite phase already forms at 550°C. 相似文献
