In this work, we show that the capture into parametric resonance may be explained as pitchfork bifurcation in the primary parametric resonance equation. We prove that the solution close to the moment of the capture is descibed by the Painlevé-2 equation. We obtain connection formulae for the asymptotic solution of the primary parametric resonance equation before and after the capture using the matching of asymptotic expansions.  相似文献

Bulk samples of carbon multilayer nanotubes with the structure of nested cones (fishbone structure) suitable for transport measurements, were prepared by compressing under high pressure (∼25 kbar) a nanotube precursor synthesized through thermal decomposition of polyethylene catalyzed by nickel. The structure of the initial nanotube material was studied using high-resolution transmission electron microscopy. In the low-temperature range (4.2–100 K) the electric resistance of the samples changes according to the law ln R ∝ (T 0/T)1/3, where T 0∼7 K. The measured magnetoresistance is quadratic in the magnetic field and linear in the reciprocal temperature. The measurements have been interpreted in terms of two-dimensional variable-range hopping conductivity. It is suggested that the space between the inside and outside walls of nanotubes acts as a two-dimensional conducting medium. The head interference wave associated with the propagation of the P-wave in an elastic half-space is studied by using as an example the propagation of pressure waves in a liquid layer covering an elastic half-space. The attenuation of such a wave with respect to the distance between a source and a receiver is smaller than that in the classical theory. The wave field is considered both in time and frequency domains. The stationary wave field of the head interference wave is of resonance nature. From the mathematical point of view, the resonance peaks occur when the roots of the dispersion equation pass through a branch point. Additional components in displacements of elastic wave fields are those which vanish in the case of propagation of homogeneous plane waves. For P-waves in a homogeneous isotropic solid, these are transverse components. Waveforms in additional components in simple models of non-time-harmonic elastic wave propagation with plane wavefronts are analyzed. A method of solving the problem of the translational motion of a cylinder of given shape below the free surface of an infinitely deep heavy fluid is developed.
