The nucleus 102Sn, which is the lightest Sn isotope with known excited states, was investigated with the 50Cr(58Ni,α2n) reaction using delayed in-beam γ-ray and conversion-electron spectroscopy. The experimental setup was designed to study the decay of μs-long isomeric states by placing γ-ray and electron detectors behind the focal plane of the Fragment Mass Analyzer at the Argonne National Laboratory. A 44 keV conversion-electron line corresponding to the (6+)→(4+) transition in 102Sn was identified and a half-life of 0.62+0.43−0.19 μs was measured for the (6+) state. From the available experimental information neutron effective charges from 1.6 to 2.3 e were deduced, based on the comparison with different shell-model calculations.  相似文献

The consecutive pre-treatment of cellulose with periodate and bisulfite was used as a new potential method to promote nanofibrillation of hardwood pulp and to obtain nanofibrils with sulfonated functionality. Nanofibrils having typical widths of 10–60 nm were obtained from sulfonated celluloses having low anionic charge densities (0.18–0.51 mmol/g) by direct high-pressure homogenization without the use of any mechanical pre-treatments. The aqueous nanofibrils existed as highly viscous and transparent gels and possessed cellulose I crystalline structures with crystallinity indexes of approximately 40 %. A transparent film was obtained from sulfonated nanofibrils having tensile strength of 164 ± 4 MPa and Young’s modulus of 13.5 ± 0.4 MPa. Oxidative sulfonation was shown to be a potential green method to promote nanofibrillation of cellulose, as it avoids the production of halogenated wastes, because the periodate used can be efficiently regenerated and recycled as shown in the preliminary experiments.  相似文献

Twelve heteroaromatic complexing agents 9a–I were synthesized with the purpose to develop suitable labels for time-resolved luminescence-based bioaffinity assays. The relative luminescence yields, excitation maxima, and emission decay constants of their europium(III) and terbium(III) chelates were determined. According to these results, 2,2′,2″,2?-[(2,2′-bipyridine-6,6′-diyl)bis(methylenenitrilo)]tetrakis (acetic acid) ( 9e ) and 2,2′,2″,2?-[(2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine-6,6″-diyl)bis(methylenenitrilo)] tetrakis(acetic acid) ( 91 ) are the most promising agents.  相似文献

A novel strategy for the synthesis of (1-alkanoyloxy-4-alkanoylaminobutylidene)-1,1-bisphosphonic acid derivatives (1a-d) via (1-hydroxy-4-alkanoylaminobutylidene)-1,1-bisphosphonic acid derivatives (2a-d), starting from alendronate has been developed with reasonable 51-77% overall yields. Intermediate products, (1-hydroxy-4-alkanoylaminobutylidene)-1,1-bisphosphonic acid derivatives (2a-d), were prepared in water with reasonable to high yields (52-94%).  相似文献

Abstract

Clodronate (1) belongs to family of bisphosphonates which are used to inhibit mineralization of soft tissues as well as bone formation and resorption disorders.[I] The clinical use of bisphosphonates is limited due to their poor bióvailability which is mostly attributed to their hydrophilic structure. More lipophilic molecules are obtained if some or all of the anionic sites are converted to covalent bonds. We herein report a new prodrug serie for clodronate: the anhydrides 2 and 3. Previously we have reported that the simple alkyl esters 4 do not release clodronate via chemical or enzymatic hydrolysis.[2] The prepared new derivatives are stable in water (pH 5–7.5) but clodronate isrelased rapidly with enzymatic hydrolysis.  相似文献

We present a high-throughput roll-to-roll (R2R) manufacturing process for foil-based polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) chips of excellent optical quality. These disposable, R2R hot embossed microfluidic chips are used for the identification of the antibiotic resistance gene mecA in Staphylococcus epidermidis. R2R hot embossing is an emerging manufacturing technology for polymer microfluidic devices. It is based on continuous feeding of a thermoplastic foil through a pressurized area between a heated embossing cylinder and a blank counter cylinder. Although mass fabrication of foil-based microfluidic chips and their use for biological applications were foreseen already some years ago, no such studies have been published previously.  相似文献

Excitation energy transfer in chlorosomes from photosynthetic green sulfur bacteria, Chlorobaculum (Cba.) tepidum and Prosthecochloris (Pst.) aestuarii, have been studied at room temperature by time-resolved femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy. Bleach rise times from 117 to 270 fs resolved for both chlorosomes reflect extremely efficient intrachlorosomal energy transfer. Bleach relaxation times, from 1 to 3 ps and 25 to 35 ps, probed at 758 nm were tentatively assigned to intrachlorosomal energy transfer based on amplitude changes of the global fits and model calculations. The anisotropy decay constant of about 1 ps resolved at 807 nm probe wavelength for the chlorosomes from Chloroflexus aurantiacus, Pst. aestuarii and Cba. tepidum was related to energy transfer between bacteriochlorophyll a molecules of the baseplate and partly to intrachlorosomal energy transfer. The longer anisotropy components 6.6, 8.8 and 12.1 ps resolved for the three chlorosomes, respectively, were assigned to chlorosome to baseplate energy transfer. Global fits of magic-angle data also revealed longer chlorosome to baseplate energy transfer components from 95 to 135 ps, in accord with results from simulations.  相似文献

In this study, torsional harmonic atomic force microscopy (TH-AFM, HarmoniX mode) was applied for surface mapping of the mechanical properties of pigment-latex coated paper samples. In addition, topographic images and force maps of adhesive tip-sample interactions were captured concurrently. The spatial distribution of latex binder on the composite surface was distinguished with high resolution. The latex was found to dominate the surface chemistry of the composite coating, despite the fact that latex is a minor component in the coating color formulation. The latex resided as a thick layer between the pigments and as a thin layer on the individual pigments. In addition, the tip-sample thermodynamic work of adhesion of the composite materials on the coated surface was compared to the surface energy values obtained by contact angle measurements. A high tip-sample work of adhesion correlated to high surface energy.  相似文献

The synthesis of (2S,5S)-Boc-5-tert-butylproline ethyl ester via the addition of tert-butylcuprate to (2S)-N-Boc-Δ5-dehydroproline ethyl ester, formed from (2S)-N-Boc-5-methoxyproline ethyl ester, gives an excellent yield of 94% and a high diastereoselectivity (2S,5S):(2S,5R) 78:22. This synthesis opens up a new synthetic route to (2S,5S)-5-tert-butylproline, which is a useful, conformationally rigid, analogue of l-proline.  相似文献
