The study attempted to identify the soil components and the principal adsorption mechanisms that bind tebuconazole in mineral soils. The KF values of the Freundlich isotherm determined in 18 soils from six soil profiles in batch experiments after 96 h of shaking ranged from 1.11 to 16.85 μg1−1/n (mL)1/n g−1, and the exponent 1/n values from 0.74 to 1.04. The adsorption of tebuconazole was inversely correlated with the soil pH. Both neutral and protonated forms of this organic base were adsorbed mainly on the fraction of humins. The adsorption of the protonated form increased in the presence of hydrogen cations adsorbed in the soil sorption sites. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy coupled with the molecular modeling studies and partial least squares regression analysis indicated that the tebuconazole molecule is bound in the organic matter through the formation of hydrogen bonds as well as hydrophobic and π–π interactions. Ion exchange was one of the adsorption mechanisms of the protonated form of this fungicide. The created mathematical model, assuming that both forms of tebuconazole are adsorbed on the organic matter and adsorption of the protonated form is affected by the potential acidity, described its adsorption in soils well. 相似文献

The new pyrazole ligand 5-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-3-methyl-1-(2-pyridylo)-1H-pyrazole-4-phosphonic acid dimethyl ester (2a) has been used to obtain a series of platinum(II), palladium(II) and copper(II) complexes (3a–7a) as potential anticancer compounds. The molecular structures of the platinum(II) and copper(II) complexes 3a and 6a have been determined by X-ray crystallography. The cytotoxicity of the phosphonic ligand 2a and its carboxylic analog 2b as well as their complexes has been evaluated on leukemia and melanoma cell lines. Copper(II) complexes were found to be more efficient in the induction of melanoma cell death than the platinum(II) or palladium(II) complexes. Cytotoxic effectiveness of compound 7b against melanoma WM-115 cells was two times better than that of cisplatin. The reaction of compound 5b with 9-methylguanine has been studied. 相似文献

Activity concentration of the 222Rn radionuclide was determined in drinking water samples from the Sothern Greater Poland region by liquid scintillation technique. The measured values ranged from 0.42 to 10.52 Bq/dm3 with the geometric mean value of 1.92 Bq/dm3. The calculated average annual effective doses from ingestion with water and inhalation of this radionuclide escaping from water were 1.15 and 11.8 μSv, respectively. Therefore, it should be underlined that, generally, it’s not the ingestion of natural radionuclides with water but inhalation of the radon escaping from water which is a substantial part of the radiological hazard due to the presence of the natural radionuclides from the uranium and thorium series in the drinking water. 相似文献

We report time-resolved electroabsorption of a weak probe in a 500 μm thick zinc-oxide crystal in the presence of a strong midinfrared pump in the tunneling limit. We observe a substantial redshift in the absorption edge that scales with the cube root of intensity up to 1 TW/cm(2) (0.38 eV cm(2/3) TW(-1/3)) after which it increases more slowly to 0.4 eV at a maximum applied intensity of 5 TW/cm(2). The maximum shift corresponds to more than 10% of the band gap. The change in scaling occurs in a regime of nonperturbative high-order harmonic generation where electrons undergo periodic Bragg scattering from the Brillouin zone boundaries. It also coincides with the limit where the electric field becomes comparable to the ratio of the band gap to the lattice spacing. 相似文献

Edible insects, due to their high nutritional value, are a good choice for traditional food supplementation. The effects of partial replacement of wheat flour and butter with mealworm flour (Tenebrio molitor) on the quality attributes of shortcake biscuits were studied. The approximate composition was analyzed, along with the physical properties and color. Moreover, the antioxidant properties, starch digestibility, and glycemic index were determined in vitro. The protein and ash contents in biscuits supplemented with mealworm flour increased, while the carbohydrates content decreased. The increasing insect flour substitution decreased the lightness (L*) and yellowness (b*) but increased the redness (a*), total color difference (ΔE), and browning index (BI). The spread factor for the sample with the highest proportion of mealworm flour was significantly higher than the other biscuits. Furthermore, higher additions of mealworm flour increased the antioxidant activity of the biscuits and contributed to an increase in the content of slowly digested starch, with a decrease in the content of rapidly digested starch. Therefore, the results of the research are promising and indicate the possibility of using edible insects to enrich food by increasing the nutritional and health-promoting values. 相似文献

A inexpensive and rapid isocratic LC method has been developed for the quantitative determination of tebipenem—a new β-lactam antibiotic. Stress degradation studies were performed on tebipenem in acidic (0.2 N hydrochloric acid) and basic (0.02 N sodium hydroxide) solutions, in a solution with oxidizing agent (3 % hydrogen peroxide), and in the solid state, during thermolysis and photolysis. For a chromatographic separation of tebipenem and its degradation products, a C-18 stationary phase and 12 mM ammonium acetate-acetonitrile (96:4 v/v) were used. A quantitative determination of tebipenem was carried out by using a PDA detector at 298 nm, with a flow rate of 1.2 mL min?1. The linear regression analysis for the calibration plots showed a good linear relationship (r = 0.999) in the concentration range 0.041–0.240 mg mL?1. The method demonstrated good precision (1.14–1.96 % RSD) and recovery (99.60–101.90 %). The limits of detection and quantitation were 9.69 and 29.36 μg mL?1, respectively. The analysis of tebipenem reactivity was supported by quantum chemical calculations based on the density functional theory (DFT). The analysis of the electron density of the HOMO and LUMO of tebipenem suggested the possibility of electron transport in the molecule during the degradation of bi-cyclic 4:5 fused penem rings. 相似文献

The food industry generates a great amount of food waste and by-products, which in many cases are not fully valorized. Press cakes, deriving from oilseeds extraction, represent interesting co-products due to their nutritional value, high biopolymers content, and the presence of bioactive phytochemicals. Gluten-free breads (GFBs) are products that have disadvantages such as unsatisfactory texture, low nutritional value, and short shelf life, so natural additives containing proteins and hydrocolloids are in demand to increase GFBs value. In this study, extract from flaxseed by-product (FOCE—Flaxseed Oil Cake Extract) was used to replace water (25–100%) in GFBs formulations and their nutritional value, antioxidant properties, and sensory features were investigated. The results showed that GFBs with FOCE had an elevated nutritional and nutraceutical profile (up to 60% more proteins, significantly increased K, Mg, and P levels). Moreover, the addition of FOCE improved the technological parameters (increased specific volume, number of cells and height/width ratio, reduced density, average size, and perimeter of cells), antioxidant potential, and overall sensory quality of GFBs. This study showed an encouraging way of using a by-product that, due to its high content of proteins, polysaccharides, minerals, and antioxidants, can add value to GFBs. 相似文献
