High-density and high aspect-ratio ZnO nanowires were grown on Si(100) substrates by the thermal evaporation of metallic zinc powder without the use of metal catalysts or additives. The as-grown nanowires had diameters in the range of 60-100 nm with lengths 5-15 μm. Detailed structural characterization indicated that the obtained nanowires are single-crystalline with a perfect hexagonal facet and surfaces. The room temperature PL spectrum exhibited strong UV emission, affirming that the as-grown products have good optical properties. The possible growth mechanism for the formation of hexagonal-faceted and perfect surface ZnO nanowires is also discussed. 相似文献

Molecules of (E)‐3‐(2‐chloro‐6‐methylquinolin‐3‐yl)‐1‐(5‐iodo‐2‐thienyl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐one, C17H11ClINOS, (I), and (E)‐3‐(2‐chloro‐6‐methylquinolin‐3‐yl)‐1‐(5‐methyl‐2‐furyl)prop‐2‐en‐1‐one, C18H14ClNO2, (II), adopt conformations slightly twisted from coplanarity. Both structures are devoid of classical hydrogen bonds. However, nonclassical C—H...O/N interactions [with C...O = 3.146 (5) Å and C...N = 3.487 (3) Å] link the molecules into chains extended along the b axis in (I) and form dimers with an R22(8) motif in (II). The structural analysis of these compounds provides an insight into the correlation between molecular structures and intermolecular interactions in compounds for drug development. 相似文献

A substantial spectral shift of the UV-laser induced luminescence in the Ag nanoparticles (NP) doped by Er3+ ions attached to ITO substrates was observed at T = 4.2 K. We have established high energy spectral shift of principal luminescent maxima (from wavelength equal to about 1.45 up to 1.15 μm) with increasing of the pumping nanosecond nitrogen laser power density up to 1.1 GW/cm2 operating at λ = 337 nm. With increasing Erbium content with respect to Ag the spectral shift and spectral line broadening increase. It may be caused by specific features of trapping level occupation kinetics on interfaces NP/ITO substrate. The observed process is fully reversible. The luminescence is observed only during excitation by the 337 nm laser pulses and is absent for laser pulses operating at other wavelengths (like excimer laser at 218 nm and nitrogen laser at 371 nm). 相似文献

Phytochemical investigation of Symplocos racemosa resulted in the isolation of a new ethyl substituted glycoside, 1-ethyl brachiose-3'-acetate (1) along with four known compounds ketochaulmoogric acid (2), nonaeicosanol (3), triacontyl palmitate (4) and methyl triacontanoate (5). The substitution of ethyl group on 1 was natural because during the course of extraction and purification ethanol was not used. The structural elucidation of the isolated compounds was based primarily on 1D- and 2D-NMR analysis, including COSY, HMQC, and HMBC correlations. The glycoside 1 and triacontyl palmitate (4) displayed the inhibitory potential against lipoxygenase and urease enzyme, respectively. 相似文献

Various kind of ZnO nanostructures such as nanowires, nanonails and nanocombs were synthesized by the thermal evaporation process onto the steel alloy substrate without the use of metal catalyst or any additives. Detailed structural characterizations indicated that the grown products possess a single crystallinity with the wurtzite hexagonal crystal structure. Presence of strong optical-phonon E2 mode, in all the cases, presents the good crystallinity with the wurtzite hexagonal phase for the deposited products. Additionally, appearance of dominated, strong and sharp UV emission in the room-temperature photoluminescence spectra confirmed the good optical properties for the grown nanostructures. A vapor–solid growth mechanism has been proposed for the growth of the nanostructures. 相似文献

The morphology of photovoltaic material is able to influence of the performance of photoelectrochemical cell. Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP), cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB), and hexamethylenetetramine (HMT) surfactant were used to modify the morphology nanostructure of TiO2 films by a simple technique, namely, liquid phase deposition during their growth process. It was found that the untreated surfactant TiO2 film produces the morphology with the mixture nanosphere and nanoflower. The film treated with PVP, CTAB, and HMT produce the nanostructure shape of nanoflower, nanowire, and nanorod, respectively. These TiO2 samples were utilized as photovoltaic materials in a photoelectrochemical cell of ITO/TiO2/electrolyte/platinum. It was found that the photovoltaic parameters such as short-circuit current density (J sc), open-circuit voltage (V oc) and fill factor are influenced by the morphology in terms of shape and particle size of the TiO2 nanostructure. The cell utilizing the TiO2 nanowire treated with PVP possesses the highest J sc and V oc of 0.100 mAcm?2 and 0.44 V. The length of the TiO2 nanowire is 6?±?2 nm, while the cell with the untreated surfactant TiO2 sample demonstrates the lowest performance. It was also found that the J sc and V oc increase with the decrease in the length of the TiO2 nanostructures. The smallest length of TiO2 possesses the best interfacial contact at TiO2/electrolyte containing iodide/triiodide redox couple. Thus, the redox reaction is optimized at this interface. 相似文献

We develop an exact method to calculate thermal Casimir forces between inclusions of arbitrary shapes and separation, embedded in a fluid membrane whose fluctuations are governed by the combined action of surface tension, bending modulus, and Gaussian rigidity. Each object's shape and mechanical properties enter only through a characteristic matrix, a static analog of the scattering matrix. We calculate the Casimir interaction between two elastic disks embedded in a membrane. In particular, we find that at short separations the interaction is strong and independent of surface tension. 相似文献
