Further progress in the applications of self-assembled nanostructures critically depends on developing a fundamental understanding of the relation between the properties of nanoparticle ensembles and their time-dependent structural characteristics. Following dynamic generation of hot-spots in the self-assembled chains of gold nanorods, we established a direct correlation between ensemble-averaged surface-enhanced Raman scattering and extinction properties of the chains. Experimental results were supported with comprehensive finite-difference time-domain simulations. The established relationship between the structure of nanorod ensembles and their optical properties provides the basis for creating dynamic, solution-based, plasmonic platforms that can be utilized in applications ranging from sensing to nanoelectronics.  相似文献

This study presents the diffusion of heterogeneous ternary (Cu-Ag-Zr) adatoms clusters on Ag(111) using molecular dynamics techniques which could be important for the surface phenomena's and helpful for the ternary cluster's growth and formation of ternary alloy-based thin films. The mechanism of nanoscale surface diffusion is investigated for 1Cu-1Ag-1Zr, 2Cu-2Ag-2Zr, 3Cu-3Ag-3Zr, and 4Cu-4Ag-4Zr clusters at temperatures 300, 500, and 700 K. The diffusion mechanism displays that the diffusion of trimer cluster exhibits hopping, sliding, and shearing at 300 K, whereas for hexamer, nonamer, and decamer, the diffusion rate is low; however, breathing, anchoring, and concentrated motion dominates. At 500 K, trimer and hexamer show the process of atomic exchange; however, the atomic exchange is not observed in the case of nonamer and decamer diffusion. The atomic exchange mechanism of Cu and Zr adatoms dominates at 700 K for all size clusters, except Ag adatoms, where Zr adatoms show a relatively more tendency. Separation and rejoining of the one and two adatoms (likely Zr adatom) are also witnessed at high temperature. The pop-up of Ag adatoms also occurs in very short intervals over the remaining adatoms of clusters. Interestingly, during trimer diffusion, the adsorption of the Zr- or Cu-adatom among the trimer cluster into the substitutional site is found. At 700 K, vacancy generation, filling of vacancies, and migration of vacancy, in the neighborhood of the adatoms cluster, also observed. Moreover, the rate of diffusion decreases with the size increase of the clusters and increases with the increase in temperature.  相似文献

The development of UV and fluorescence spectrophotometric methods for the quantitative determination of alprazolam in dosage forms using As(III)?SDS system. The two simple and sensitive, spectrophotometric and spectrofluorimetric methods were developed for the determination of alprazolam (ALP) in tablets. These methods are based on formation of ALP?As(III) complex in the presence of SDS. The UV-spectrum of 30% methanolic solution of ALP (5 × 10?5 M) at pH 6.5 (Mclivaine buffer) was run between 200 and 380 nm. The absorption spectrum of ALP exhibits two peaks with a λmax. at 255 nm and a weak band at 325 nm. When the spectra of the drug were run at varying pH in the region 200–380 nm, one isosbestic point at 290 nm was observed, which indicated the presence of two ionic conditions in solution. The complex exhibited an absorption maximum at 265 nm and emission peak at 520 nm with respect to the excitation wavelength of 325 nm. The spectrophotometric method was found to be linear in 8.0–17.0 μg ml?1 range with detection limit of 13.520 μg ml?1, while 0.05–9.5 μg ml?1 range was with detection limit of 1.048 × 10?2 μg ml?1 by spectrofluorimetric method. The mean percentage recovery of the added quantity was found to be 99.54 (spectrophotometric method) and 100.22 (spectrofluorimetric method) and the %RSD are lower than 0.478 and 0.296 determined spectrophotomerically and spectrofluorimtrically, respectively. This indicates that the proposed method is accurate. The apparent ionization constant of ALP was found to be 9.29. The spectra, experimental conditions were set followed by determination stoichiometry, stability constant and thermodynamic parameters of the As(III), Co(II), Ni(II), and Zn(II) complexes with ALP at pH 6.5. The proposed methods have been successfully applied to the assay of ALP in tablets and the results were statistically evaluated.  相似文献

ABSTRACT: A TLC densitometric method was developed for simultaneous determination of four anabolic androgenic steroids (AAS) of testosterone derivatives including testosterone propionate (TP), testosterone phenyl propionate (TPP), testosterone isocaproate (TI) and testosterone deaconate (TD) in their pharmaceutical products. Separation was carried out on Al based TLC plates, pre-coated with silica gel 60F-254 using hexane and ethyl acetate (8.5:1.5, v/v). Spots at Rf 0.31+/-0.01, 0.34+/-0.01, 0.40+/-0.01 and 0.45+/-0.02 were recognized as TPP, TP, TI and TD, respectively. Quantitative analysis was done by densitometric measurements at lambdamax 251 nm for all derivatives. The developed method was validated as per ICH guidelines. Method was found linear over the concentration range of 200-1200 ng/spot with the correlation coefficient of 0.995, 0.993, 0.995 and 0.996 for TP, TPP, TI, TD, respectively. Limit of detection for all derivatives were in the range of 16.7-22.3 ng/spot while limit of quantitation were found to be in the range of 55.7-70.9 ng/spot. The developed TLC method can be applied for the simultaneous routine analysis of testosterone derivatives in their individual and combined pharmaceutical formulations.  相似文献

Herein a newly discovered non-polar solvent based synthesis of MAPbX3 hybrid perovskite nanoparticles (NPs) is presented, where MA=Methylammonium and X=I, Br and Cl, as well as their mixed halide counterparts. The methodology proposed is simple and uses low-cost commercial precursors. The conventional method of hybrid perovskite preparation requires methylammonium halide precursors and highly polar solvents. Mandatory use of polar solvents and a particular perovskite precursor makes an intermediate compound which then requires a non-polar solvent to recover the NPs. In contrast here, a whole range of mixed halide perovskite NPs is fabricated without using a methylammonium halide precursor and a polar solvent. In this method, a non-polar solvent is used, which provides a better platform for the particle recovery. Organic cations on the nanoparticle surface prevent degradation from water, due to their hydrophobic nature, and hence offer a stable colloidal suspension in toluene for more than three months. Ab-initio calculations within density functional theory (DFT) predict lower formation energies compared to previously reported values, confirming better chemical stability for this synthesis pathway. Through the halide compositional tuning, these NPs exhibit a variety of emission and absorption starting from ultraviolet to near infrared (IR). The absorption spectra of various halide perovskite show a sharp band edge over the visible wavelength with high absorption coefficient. High oscillator strengths due to high excitonic binding energies combined with the simulated finite dipole transition probabilities point towards the observed high absorption. The emission spectra of mixed halide perovskites vary from 400 to 750 nm, which covers the whole range of visible spectra with sharp full-width at half maxima. Different halide perovskite exhibit average recombination lifetime from 5 to 227 ns. Ambient synthesis, chemical robustness and tunability of emission with varying halide compositions make MAPbX3 (X=I, Br and Cl) NPs appealing for the optoelectronic applications.  相似文献

Citronellal cyclisation to isopulegol is an important intermediate step in the production of menthol. Several heteropoly acids (PTA) supported on modified montmorillonite (MM) catalysts were synthesized and then tested in cyclisation reactions. The prepared samples were characterized by XRD, ICP-OES, FTIR, N2 sorption, NH3-TPD, pyridine adsorption, amine titration and FE-SEM techniques. Effects of post-treatment were studied on montmorillonite pore structure, acidity and catalytic activity. The catalytic activity and isopulegol selectivity improved with acid-treatment and PTA loading. The amount of Lewis acidity of montmorillonite was enhanced with acid-treatment and PTA impregnation. In cyclisation, highest catalytic activity (31.87 mmol cat g?1 min?1) was achieved with 96% isopulegol yield in the use of 20% PTA-MM catalyst. The highest catalytic activity and selectivity were obtained in the presence of higher acidity and strong Lewis acidic sites, whereas effects of pore structure blockage seemed minor. The catalytic activity further decreased with the loss of active acidic sites (L and B) due to PTA decomposition with calcination at a higher temperature.  相似文献
