The crystal structure of the pentapyrrin1 was determined by X-ray diffraction methodes at two temperatures (298K and 97K). It is the first structure determination of a linear polypyrrole with more than four pyrrole rings. In the crystal, the molecule is located on a crystallographic two-fold axis, which passes through the central pyrrole ring. It assumes a helical overall-conformation, which is stabilized by intramolecular hydrogen bonding. The acidic proton at the nitrogen atom of the central pyrrolic ring is disordered, being observed with half occupancy at two symmetry-equivalent positions off the crystallographic diad. Attempts to remove the disorder by cooling to 97K were unsuccessful, since no indication for a phase transition was detected.

In this study, total harmonic distortion (THD) analysis is put forward to illustrate nonlinear behavior of direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) anode. THD simulations by means of different methanol oxidation kinetics as well as its experimental validation are both carried out. It is shown that the THD model adopting a three-step methanol oxidation mechanism with Kauranen–Frumkin/Temkin kinetics can be used to illustrate the THD variation for DMFC anode qualitatively. The experimental THD response at the frequency range from 0.063 Hz to 0.4 Hz is identified as the reflection of the nonlinearity variation of those kinetic steps involving intermediates in the methanol oxidation. In such a frequency domain, THD value decrease monotonously with decreasing methanol concentration, which notices its accessibility on methanol concentration detection.  相似文献

The photocatalyzed [2 + 2 + 2]-cycloaddition of nitriles with 2 equiv of acetylene to 2-pyridines can be carried out under mild conditions and represents a valuable extension to common synthetical methods. For the ideal wavelength range (350-500 nm), lamps as well as sunlight can be used. Working at room temperature and in organic solvents such as toluene or hexane as well as in water gives satisfying results in many cases. However, it is also possible to vary the solvent and the reaction temperature of the photocatalyzed synthesis and to choose, with respect to the specific substrate, specific requirements for this particular reaction and general requirements of the method. This simple and selective method derives its potential mainly from the large variety of applicable nitriles. Suitable substrates include (functionalized) aliphatic and aromatic nitriles as well as cyanamides derived from secondary amines.  相似文献

Reaction of a tethered triamine ligand with Bi(NMe2)3 gives a Bi triamide, for which a BiI electronic structure is shown to be most appropriate. The T‐shaped geometry at bismuth provides the first structural model for edge inversion in bismuthines and the only example of a planar geometry for pnictogen triamides. Analogous phosphorus compounds exhibit a distorted pyramidal geometry because of different Bi?N and P?N bond polarities. Although considerable BiI character is indicated for the title Bi triamide, it exhibits reactivity similar to BiIII electrophiles, and expresses either a vacant or a filled p orbital at Bi, as evidenced by coordination of either pyridine N‐oxide or W(CO)5. The product of the former shows evidence of coordination‐induced oxidation state change at bismuth.  相似文献

An overview is given of sensitization and allergic reaction on food, along with minimal eliciting doses for selected allergens (milk, egg, peanut), followed by the legislative situation in the European Community, the USA, Canada, Australia/New Zealand and Japan. The main focus of the paper discusses methods for food allergen determination (chromatography, DNA-based, antibody-based) and their limitations. Special emphasis is given on antibody-based systems, which are at the moment the most advanced and validated methods available. Examples are given of the current status of standardization for egg, milk, nuts, prolamins, glutelins and for clinical validated reference samples from the EU project EuroPrevall. Peptides bearing an acryloyl residue at their N‐terminus were coupled with various C‐glycosides in an equimolar ratio via cross‐metathesis. The newly formed olefin was obtained with high E/Z selectivity in satisfying to high yields with low homodimerization of the starting materials. The posttranslational cross‐metathesis approach was shown to be suitable for the combinatorial synthesis of a small library of C‐glycopeptides.  相似文献

Thin hydrogel films based on an ABA triblock copolymer gelator [where A is pH-sensitive poly(2-(diisopropylamino)ethyl methacrylate) (PDPA) and B is biocompatible poly(2-(methacryloyloxy)ethyl phosphorylcholine) (PMPC)] were used as a stimulus-responsive substrate that allows fine adjustment of the mechanical environment experienced by mouse myoblast cells. The hydrogel film elasticity could be reversibly modulated by a factor of 40 via careful pH adjustment without adversely affecting cell viability. Myoblast cells exhibited pronounced stress fiber formation and flattening on increasing the hydrogel elasticity. As a new tool to evaluate the strength of cell adhesion, we combined a picosecond laser with an inverted microscope and utilized the strong shock wave created by the laser pulse to determine the critical pressure required for cell detachment. Furthermore, we demonstrate that an abrupt jump in the hydrogel elasticity can be utilized to monitor how cells adapt their morphology to changes in their mechanical environment.  相似文献
