The use of a boronic ester as a captor of aqueous [(18)F]-fluoride has been previously suggested as a means of labeling biomolecules in one step for positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. For this approach to be seriously considered, the [(18)F]-labeled trifluoroborate should be humorally stable such that it neither leaches free [(18)F]-fluoride to the bone nor accumulates therein. Herein, we have synthesized a biotinylated boronic ester that is converted to the corresponding trifluoroborate salt in the presence of aqueous [(18)F]-fluoride. In keeping with its in vitro aqueous kinetic stability at pH 7.5, the trifluoroborate appears to clear in vivo quite rapidly to the bladder as the stable trifluoroborate salt with no detectable leaching of free [(18)F]-fluoride to the bone. When this labeled biotin is preincubated with avidin, the pharmacokinetic clearance of the resulting complex is visibly altered. This work validates initial claims that boronic esters are potentially useful as readily labeled precursors to [(18)F]-PET reagents.  相似文献

Deposit formation and fouling in reactors for polymer production and processing especially in microreactors is a well-known phenomenon. Despite the flow and pressure loss optimized static mixers, fouling occurs on the surfaces of the mixer elements. To improve the performance of such parts even further, stainless steel substrates are coated with ultra-thin films which have low surface energy, good adhesion, and high durability. Perfluorinated organosilane (FOTS) films deposited via chemical vapor deposition (CVD) are compared with FOTS containing zirconium oxide sol-gel films regarding the prevention of deposit formation and fouling during polymerization processes in microreactors. Both film structures led to anti-adhesive properties of microreactor component surfaces during aqueous poly(vinylpyrrolidone) (PVP) synthesis. To determine the morphology and surface chemistry of the coatings, different characterization methods such as X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy as well as microscopic methods such as field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) are applied. The surface free energy and wetting properties are analyzed by means of contact angle measurements. The application of thin film-coated mixing elements in a microreactor demonstrates a significant lowering in pressure increase caused by a reduced deposit formation.  相似文献

A mapping technique has been developed where a sub‐micrometer focused polychromatic X‐ray beam is scanned across a stationary sample instead of scanning the sample in front of the X‐ray microbeam. This method is applied to a gold nanowire during its mechanical loading using the tip of an atomic force microscope. During the loading process, such a sample is `accelero‐phobic', i.e. the sample scanning stages must not to be moved to avoid parasitic additional load. Without beam scanning, only one single position within the sample can be probed during the test. The probed material point may even change because of drifts or movements induced by the test itself. The new scanning approach facilitates the in situ mapping of the entire wire giving access to the evolution of the wire shape as well as to the boundary conditions. This novel scanning technique opens promising perspectives for studies where sample motion is forbidden because of the sample environment.  相似文献

The active site of several oxygen binding proteins can be mimicked with the ferric iron protoporphyrin IX derivative hemin, coordinating two imidazole molecules and embedded in sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) micelles; the detergent simulates the hydrophobic cavity of heme proteins. We studied the low-frequency vibrational modes of the porphyrin-iron-imidazole bonding in infrared absorbance spectra. Assignment of the metal-ligand vibrations to signals at 396, 387, and 378 cm(-1) was performed by isotope labeling of the imidazole ligand. These modes were also found to be temperature-dependent and to display a linear increase of signal intensity between 25 and 150 K and, with a different slope, between 150 and 300 K. The modes at 396 and 399 cm(-1) show for 25 K an up-shift about 4 cm(-1) and the signal at 378 cm(-1) a small downshift, indicating the involvement of antisymmetric stretching modes and, in the latter, of bending motions. Anharmonic couplings to doming modes are discussed, and the doming mode and hydrogen-bonding signature spectral range between 300 and 100 cm(-1) is presented.  相似文献

On the basis of join-continuous semigroups , this paper demonstrates among other things that on every complete ortholattice there exists an L-valued topology such that order convergence is L-topological (this is not always the case with respect to ordinary topologies). Further, the concept of lower semicontinuous lattice-valued maps permits an extension of the omega-functor to the general setting of L-valued topological spaces where the importance of lies in the replacement of ordinary topologies by L-valued topologies. Rapid hydroformylation of 1-octene (rates up to 800 h(-1)) with the catalyst remaining stable for at least 40 h and with very low rhodium leaching levels (0.5 ppm) is demonstrated when using a system involving flowing the substrate, reacting gases and products dissolved in supercritical CO(2) (scCO(2)) over a fixed bed supported ionic liquid phase catalyst.  相似文献
