Quantized expressions for the gravitational energy and momentum are derived from a linearized theory of teleparallel gravity. The derivation relies on a second-quantization procedure that constructs annihilation and creation operators for the graviton. The resulting gravitational field is a collection of gravitons, each of which has precise energy and momentum. On the basis of the weak-field approximation of Schwarzschild’s solution, a new form for the quantization of the mass of a black hole is derived. 相似文献

The paper is devoted to an explanation of the accelerated rate of expansion of the Universe. Usually the acceleration of the Universe, which is described by FRW metric, is due to dark energy. It is shown that this effect may be considered as a manifestation of torsion tensor for a flat Universe in the realm of Teleparallel gravity. An observer with radial field velocity obey Hubble's Law. As a consequence it is established that this is radial acceleration in a flat Universe. In Eq. (35) the acceleration is written in terms of the deceleration parameter, the Hubble’s constant and the proper distance. This may be interpreted as an acceleration of the Universe. 相似文献

The nonrelativistic quantum dynamics of a spinless charged particle in the presence of the Aharonov–Bohm potential in curved space is considered. We chose the surface as being a cone defined by a line element in polar coordinates. The geometry of this line element establishes that the motion of the particle can occur on the surface of a cone or an anti-cone. As a consequence of the nontrivial topology of the cone and also because of two-dimensional confinement, the geometric potential should be taken into account. At first, we establish the conditions for the particle describing a circular path in such a context. Because of the presence of the geometric potential, which contains a singular term, we use the self-adjoint extension method in order to describe the dynamics in all space including the singularity. Expressions are obtained for the bound state energies and wave functions. 相似文献
