The novel promoter system IX/AgOTf (X = Cl or Br) has been evaluated in the synthesis of two bislactam analogues of GD3. We have carried out two high-yielding galactosylations in 97% and 98% yield, respectively, using ICl/AgOTf, and four sialylations in 93%, 59%, 40%, and 44% yield, using IBr/AgOTf. The choice of interhalogen (IX) is determined by the donor type used in the glycosylation. We also report some mechanistic investigations leading to further optimization of the IX/AgOTf promoter system.  相似文献

Rhodium-MonoPhos was successfully immobilised by ionic interactions on aluminosilicate AlTUD-1. The resulting new heterogeneous catalyst can be used in water and showed excellent enantioselectivity and activity in the asymmetric hydrogenation of methyl-2-acetamidoacrylate.  相似文献

Structural isomers of [UO(2)(oxalate)(3)](4-), [UO(2)(oxalate)F(3)](3-), [UO(2)(oxalate)(2)F](3-), and [UO(2)(oxalate)(2)(H(2)O)](2-) have been studied by using EXAFS and quantum chemical ab initio methods. Theoretical structures and their relative energies were determined in the gas phase and in water using the CPCM model. The most stable isomers according to the quantum chemical calculations have geometries consistent with the EXAFS data, and the difference between measured and calculated bond distances is generally less than 0.05 A. The complex [UO(2)(oxalate)(3)](4-) contains two oxalate ligands forming five-membered chelate rings, while the third is bonded end-on to a single carboxylate oxygen. The most stable isomer of the other two complexes also contains the same type of chelate-bonded oxalate ligands. The activation energy for ring opening in [UO(2)(oxalate)F(3)](3-), deltaU++ = 63 kJ/mol, is in fair agreement with the experimental activation enthalpy, deltaH++ = 45 +/- 5 kJ/mol, for different [UO(2)(picolinate)F(3)](2-) complexes, indicating similar ring-opening mechanisms. No direct experimental information is available on intramolecular exchange in [UO(3)(oxalate)(3)](4-). The theoretical results indicate that it takes place via the tris-chelated intermediate with an activation energy of deltaU++ = 38 kJ/mol; the other pathways involve multiple steps and have much higher activation energies. The geometries and energies of dioxouranium(VI) complexes in the gas phase and solvent models differ slightly, with differences in bond distance and energy of typically less than 0.06 A and 10 kJ/mol, respectively. However, there might be a significant difference in the distance between uranium and the leaving/entering group in the transition state, resulting in a systematic error when the gas-phase geometry is used to estimate the activation energy in solution. This systematic error is about 10 kJ/mol and tends to cancel when comparing different pathways.  相似文献

Mixtures of π-cyclobutadiene-nickeldihalides and LEWIS acids such as Al(R)nCl3-n,, n = 1–2, represent very active homogeneous catalysts for dimerization of mono-olefins. As active cocatalyst may be used LEWIS bases, in particular compounds containing three-coordinated phosselectivity of the catalytic system has been investigated. The kinetics of the dimerization-reaction is outlined. The mechanisms of the olefin-dimerization is best characterized as a «double-cis-insertionreaction». The main catalytic activity is thought to be connected either to free positively charged nickel cations or to bimetallic nickel-aluminium-complexes, depending on theconditions of reaction, in particular the amount and chemical nature of the cocatalyst.  相似文献

Highly oriented pyroelectric liquid-crystalline polymers were prepared by photopolymerization under the influence of a static electric field from binary mixtures of two acrylate monomers exhibiting chiral smectic C mesomorphism. Both monomers contained nitro groups to yield second order nonlinear optical properties (second harmonic generation) and one of the monomers had two functional groups to yield a crosslinked polymer. The room temperature second order nonlinear susceptibility of the polymers showed during the first two hours a 10 % decrease after which it remained constant during the next 48 days. At elevated temperatures there was a significant difference in the nonlinear optical properties over time between crosslinked and uncrosslinked polymers. The uncrosslinked polymer showed a pronounced loss of second order nonlinear optical activity with time at ≥38°C. The crosslinked polymer showed a much smaller and basically a temperature independent decrease rate in the second order nonlinear optical properties at all the ageing temperatures (23-130°C). Both the loss in mesogen order parameter, very evident for the uncrosslinked polymer, and conformational changes occurring within the mesogens (β mechanism), may account for the observations made.  相似文献

Polyelectrolytes with amphiphilic counterions, PEACs, are water insoluble because the amphiphiles self-assemble into highly charged micelles that strongly associate with the equally highly charged polyions. However, in the presence of water soluble cyclodextrins (CDs) that form inclusion complexes with the amphiphiles and prevent micellization, PEACs become soluble as the dispersed amphiphiles behave essentially as simple monovalent counterions. In this paper, we illustrate, by example, how strongly the ternary phase behavior of PEAC:CD:water depends on the polyion flexibility; for a highly flexible polyion (polyacrylate) the amphiphilic aggregates dictate the phase behavior, whereas a much stiffer polyion (DNA) itself dictates liquid crystalline ordering.  相似文献

The multicopper oxidases (MCOs) couple the four-electron reduction of dioxygen to water with four one-electron oxidations of various substrates. Extensive spectroscopic studies have identified several intermediates in the MCO catalytic cycle, but they have not been able to settle the structures of three of the intermediates, viz. the native intermediate (NI), the peroxy intermediate (PI), and the peroxy adduct (PA). The suggested structures have been further refined and characterized by quantum mechanical/molecular mechanical (QM/MM) calculations. In this paper, we try to establish a direct link between theory and experiment, by calculating spectroscopic parameters for these intermediates using multireference wave functions from the multistate CASPT2 and MRDDCI2 methods. Thereby, we have been able to reproduce low-spin ground states (S = 0 or S = 1/2) for all the MCO intermediates, as well as a low-lying (approximately 150 cm-1) doublet state and a doublet-quartet energy gap of approximately 780 cm-1 for the NI. Moreover, we reproduce the zero-field splitting (approximately 70 cm-1) of the ground 2E state in a D3 symmetric hydroxy-bridged trinuclear Cu(II) model of the NI and obtain a quantitatively correct quartet-doublet splitting (164 cm-1) for a mu3-oxo-bridged trinuclear Cu(II) cluster. All results support the suggestion that the NI has an O2- atom in the center of the trinuclear cluster, whereas both the PI and PA have an O22- ion in the center of the cluster, in agreement with the QM/MM results and spectroscopic measurements.  相似文献
