We present a theoretical investigation of elementary excitations in anisotropic antiferromagneticS=1 chains using the concept of domain walls in string (hidden) order. Domain walls are classified by the internal spin projectionS dw z . We calculate energies and string correlation functions of low lying excited states of the domain wall type in the Haldane phase and compare the results to those of numerical computations. The boundaries of the Haldane phase are determined from the instability of these excitations with respect to the ground state. The interaction between two domain walls is found to be proportional to the productS dw z , S dw z 2, it is effectively repulsive for equal spin projections.  相似文献

A method for computation of X-ray grazing-incidence diffraction (GID) in multilayers and superlattices is presented. The method is based on X-ray dynamical diffraction theory and a matrix from a boundary equations and provides a simple numerical solution of the problem. The application of the method to simulating GID measurements taken from A1As/GaAs superlattice (20 periods of 14.6 nm A1As and 6.8 nm GaAs) demonstrates the principal validity of the theory. A perfect matching between the theory and the experiment requires the real-structure effects of sample to be taken into account.  相似文献

Biosensors employing a biocatalyst on a different level of integration have been developed for monitoring environmental pollution. These probes range from laboratory specimen to commercial detectors applied to analyzers. Recent developments on amperometric enzyme and microbial biosensors are presented here. A monoenzymatic bulk-type carbon electrode is described for biosensing organic hydroperoxides in aqueous solutions; peroxidase is immobilized within the electrode body and the direct electron transfer between electrode and enzyme is measured. Both, reversible and irreversible inhibitors of acetylcholinesterase have been quantified by using a kinetically controlled acetylcholine enzyme sequence electrode. The inhibitory effect of pesticides such as butoxycarboxime, dimethoate, and trichlorfon could be quantified within 6 min in molar concentrations. Different multi-enzyme electrodes have been developed for the determination of inorganic phosphate. These sensors represent examples of sequentially acting enzymes in combination with enzymatic analyte recycling. Using this type of amplification nanomolar concentrations can be measured.  相似文献

Solid electrolyte cells for detecting NO2 with Ba(NO3)2 or Sr(NO3)2 partially replaced by -Al2O3 as solid electrolytes have been studied. The cell tension depends on the NO2- as well as on the NO-concentration. Photoconductivities and photovoltaic currents of ruthenium-doped KNbO3 are orders of magnitude larger than that of undoped and ion-doped crystals. KNbO3:Ru is very sensitive for holographic recording with red light and the photovoltaic current increases sublinearly with light intensity.  相似文献
