The rapid development of additive manufacturing techniques, also known as three-dimensional (3D) printing, is driving innovations in polymer chemistry, materials science, and engineering. Among current 3D printing techniques, direct ink writing (DIW) employs viscoelastic materials as inks, which are capable of constructing sophisticated 3D architectures at ambient conditions. In this perspective, polymer designs that meet the rheological requirements for direct ink writing are outlined and successful examples are summarized, which include the development of polymer micelles, co-assembled hydrogels, supramolecularly cross-linked systems, polymer liquids with microcrystalline domains, and hydrogels with dynamic covalent cross-links. Furthermore, advanced polymer designs that reinforce the mechanical properties of these 3D printing materials, as well as the integration of functional moieties to these materials are discussed to inspire new polymer designs for direct ink writing and broadly 3D printing. 相似文献
Cervical cancer is the second most common cancer in the world’s woman population with a high incidence in developing countries where diagnostic conditions for the cancer are poor. The main culprit causing the cancer is the human papillomavirus (HPV). HPV is divided into three major groups, i.e., high-risk (HR) group, probable high-risk (pHR) group, and low-risk (LR) group according to their potential of causing cervical cancer. Therefore, developing a sensitive, reliable, and cost-effective point-of-care diagnostic method for the virus genotypes in developing countries even worldwide is of high importance for the cancer prevention and control strategies. Here we present a combined method of isothermal recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA), lateral flow dipstick (LFD), and reverse dot blot (RDB), in quick point-of-care identification of HPV genotypes. The combined method is highly specific to HPV when the conserved L1 genes are used as targeted genes for amplification. The method can be used in identification of HPV genotypes at point-of-care within 1 h with a sensitivity of low to 100 fg of the virus genomic DNA. We have demonstrated that it is an excellent diagnostic point-of-care assay in monitoring the disease without time-consuming and expensive procedures and devices.
Five monophosphine‐substituted diiron propane‐1,2‐dithiolate complexes as the active site models of [FeFe]‐hydrogenases have been synthesized and characterized. Reactions of complex [Fe2(CO)6{μ‐SCH2CH(CH3)S}] ( 1 ) with a monophosphine ligand tris(4‐methylphenyl)phosphine, diphenyl‐2‐pyridylphosphine, tris(4‐chlorophenyl)phosphine, triphenylphosphine, or tris(4‐fluorophenyl)phosphine in the presence of the oxidative agent Me3NO·2H2O gave the monophosphine‐substituted diiron complexes [Fe2(CO)5(L){μ‐SCH2CH(CH3)S}] [L = P(4‐C6H4CH3)3, 2 ; Ph2P(2‐C5H4N), 3 ; P(4‐C6H4Cl)3, 4 ; PPh3, 5 ; P(4‐C6H4F)3, 6 ] in 81%–94% yields. Complexes 2 – 6 have been characterized by elemental analysis, spectroscopy, and X‐ray crystallography. In addition, electrochemical studies revealed that these complexes can catalyze the reduction of protons to H2 in the presence of HOAc. 相似文献
In this study, a simple and efficient way is demonstrated to create strong interfacial interaction between graphene oxide(GO) filler and poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA) matrix through metal ion coordination. The coordination bonding provides efficient load transfer during the tensile process, and enhances the mechanical properties of the nanocomposites significantly. After being coordinated with Cu(Ⅱ) ions, GO/PVA composites show much higher Young's moduli and yield stresses than pure PVA and noncoordinated GO/PVA. UV–vis and FTIR spectra are performed to confirm the successful coordination between GO and PVA. Ethylene diamine tetraacetic acid disodium salt(EDTA-2 Na) is used to confirm the important role of coordination in enhancing the composites. This research provides a new approach to manufacture polymer-matrix nanocomposites with significantly improved mechanical performances. 相似文献

A novel ion-imprinted adsorbent for selective solid phase extraction of thorium(IV) based on the surface of silica gel was prepared by a surface-grafted technique with methacrylic acid (MAA) as a functional monomer. After removal of Th(IV) ions with 3?mol?L?1 HCl solution, the obtained imprinted particles for Th(IV) exhibited specific recognition and relatively rapid kinetic process. The maximum static and total dynamic adsorption capacity of the ion-imprinted polymers (IIPs) for Th(IV) was 33.2 and 17.3?mg?g?1, respectively. A comparison of the selectivity coefficient of the imprinted polymers with that of non-imprinted polymers showed that the imprinted matrix for Th(IV)/U(VI), Th(IV)/Ce(III), Th(IV)/La(III) and Th(IV)/Zr(IV) was 58.8, 107, 106.4 and 151.7 times greater than non-imprinted matrix, respectively. With a series of samples loading flow rate of 3?mL?min?1 for preconcentration, an enrichment factor of 14.6 and the detection limit of 0.59?µg?L?1 were obtained. The relative standard deviation of the method under optimum conditions was 2.1% (n?=?7). The developed method was successfully applied to the determination of trace Th(IV) in real water samples with satisfactory results. 相似文献
Five novel compounds as potential phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE‐5) inhibitors were synthesized from D‐tryptophan methyl ester via the Pictet–Spengler reaction and cyclization reaction. The structures of those compounds were confirmed by elemental analyses, IR, 1H NMR, and ESI‐MS spectra. 相似文献
