Chemical effects on the K shell fluorescence yields of Fe, Mn, Co, Cr and Cu compounds were investigated. Samples were excited
using 59.5 keV energy photons from a241 Am radioisotope source. K X-rays emitted by samples were counted by a Si(Li) detector with a resolution 160 eV at 5.9 keV.
Chemical effects on the K shell fluorescence yields (ωk) for Fe, Mn, Co, Cr and Cu compounds were observed. The values are

This article mainly concerns the synthesis of novel PD5/PDMS conetworks by the copolymerization of cyclic D5H and linear HO? PDMS? OH units, and the characterization of the product by DMTA, DSC, and TGA. The ultimate properties of the conetworks may be controlled by varying the relative composition of D5H and PDMS components. DMTA and DSC thermograms indicate compatibility between the PD5 and PDMS domains. Understanding of the polymer chemical transformations involved in conetwork formation combined with an analysis of DMTA and DSC thermograms led to a proposition of the microarchitecture of PD5/PDMS conetworks. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Nine known and one new ent-kaurene diterpenoid were isolated from the acetone extract of Sideritis stricta Boiss & Heldr. The new compound, identified as ent-1 beta-hydroxy-7 alpha-acetyl-15 beta,16 beta-epoxykaurane (1) by IR, 1D and 2D NMR techniques and mass spectra, was isolated along with sideroxol (2), 7-acetyl sideroxol (3), 7-epicandicandiol (4), linearol (5), ent-7 alpha,15 beta,18-trihydroxy-kaur-16-ene (6), ent-7 alpha-acetyl,15,18-dihydroxy-kaur-16-ene (7), foliol (8), sideridiol (9) and siderol (10). The antibacterial and antifungal activities of these compounds and the whole crude acetone extract were evaluated against E. coli, S. aureus, K. pneumeonia and C. albicans. 相似文献

A new potentiometric method to titrate some industrially important chloroanilines in nitrobenzene solvent with perchloric acid is described. The method was compared statistically with the classical diazotization method and shown to be significantly more accurate for two of the four compounds tested, with similar precision (RSD 0.4–0.8%). This comparison has revealed that the new method has some definite advantages over the classical diazotization method. The potentiometric method is also more rapid. 相似文献

A simple and direct method has been used to obtain fairly accurate total atomic attenuation, total atomic photoelectric and total scattering cross sections by measuring the transmission factor and K X-ray fluorescence spectrum induced by 60 keV -rays for Gd, Tb, Dy and Er by employing a Si(Li) detector system in a 2 geometry set-up. Nineteen phenolic acids, namely phenol, 2-nitrophenol, 3-nitrophenol, 4-nitrophenol, 2,4-dinitrophenol, 2,5-dinitrophenol, 2,6-dinitrophenol, 2,4,6-trinitrophenol, 4-chlorophenol, 2,4,6-trichlorophenol, 1,2-dihydroxybenzene, 1,3-dihydroxybenzene, 1,4-dihydroxybenzene, 1,2,3-trihydroxybenzene, 2-aminophenol, 3-aminophenol, 4-aminophenol, 3-cresol and 4-cresol, were titrated conductimetrically and potentiometrically with triethylamine and tetrabutylammonium hydroxide in acetonitrile under a nitrogen atmosphere at 25°C. Most exhibited normal behaviour on titration with triethylamine, but only 2,4-dinitrophenol, 2,6-dinitrophenol and 2,4,6-trinitrophenol gave useful characteristic and stoichiometric conductimetric titration curves. None of the compounds gave a meaningful conductimetric titration curve on titration with tetrabutylammonium hydroxide, which is a much stronger base than triethylamine. With three exceptions, all compounds exhibited stoichiometric well shaped potentiometric titration curves. Potentiometric titration curves of the phenolic acids with tetrabutylammonium hydroxide in acetonitrile are very similar to those of strong acids obtained in aqueous media with strong bases. Acetonitrile is a suitable solvent for titrating some of the weak phenolic acids conductimetrically with triethylamine, and is an excellent medium for titrating them potentiometrically with tetrabutylammonium hydroxide under a nitrogen atmosphere at 25°C. 相似文献

The development of low-cost electrode devices from conductive materials has recently attracted considerable attention as a sustainable means to replace the existing commercially available electrodes. In this study, two different electrode surfaces (surfaces 1 and 2, denoted as S1 and S2) were fabricated from chocolate wrapping aluminum foils. Energy dispersive X-Ray (EDX) and field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) were used to investigate the elemental composition and surface morphology of the prepared electrodes. Meanwhile, cyclic voltammetry (CV), chronoamperometry, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) were used to assess the electrical conductivities and the electrochemical activities of the prepared electrodes. It was found that the fabricated electrode strips, particularly the S1 electrode, showed good electrochemical responses and conductivity properties in phosphate buffer (PB) solutions. Interestingly, both of the electrodes can respond to the ruthenium hexamine (Ruhex) redox species. The fundamental results presented from this study indicate that this electrode material can be an inexpensive alternative for the electrode substrate. Overall, our findings indicate that electrodes made from chocolate wrapping materials have promise as electrochemical sensors and can be utilized in various applications. 相似文献

The determination of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctanesulfonate (PFOS) in food and beverages sold in Turkey was carried out using liquid chromatography–tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). A total of 123 samples of selected food and beverages such as fish, meat, offal, egg, cracker, chips, cake, chocolate, vegetable, milk and juice were examined. The highest PFOA concentrations were determined in cow meat (5.15 ng g?1), cow kidney (5.65 ng g?1), cow spleen (5.06 ng g?1) and chicken liver (5.02 ng g?1). The highest PFOS levels were found in horse mackerel (52.43 ng g?1), pike-perch (45.87 ng g?1), sardine (42.83 ng g?1) and black cod (41.33 ng g?1). Fish was found to be major source of the PFOS intake, while meat and offal were found to be major sources of the PFOA intake. 相似文献
