We report here electrochemical synthesis of novel soluble donor–acceptor (D–A) polymer with suitably functionalized perylenetetracarboxylic diimide dye derivative covalently linked to carbazole moiety (Cbz‐PDI). The band gap, Eg was measured using UV–Vis spectroscopy and compared with that obtained by cyclic voltammetry (CV). Efficient intramolecular electron transfer from carbazole‐donor to perynediimide‐acceptor leads to remarkable fluorescence quenching of the perylene core. Furthermore, spectroelectrochemical property and surface morphology of the polymer film were investigated. Characteristic monoanion and dianion radical bands on the UV–Vis absorption spectra attributed to the electrochemical reduction of the neutral polymer were observed. During the reduction process, red color of the film turned into blue and violet, respectively. Finally, the photovoltaic performance of the D–A double‐cable polymer was checked and nearly 0.1% electrical conversion efficiency is obtained under simulated AM 1.5 solar light with 100 mW/cm2 radiation power. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We demonstrate an optical gate that increases the size of polarization-based W states by accessing only one of the qubits. Using this gate, we have generated three-photon and four-photon W states with fidelities 0.836 ± 0.042 and 0.784 ± 0.028, respectively. We also confirmed the existence of pairwise entanglement in every pair of qubits, including the one that was left untouched by the gate. The gate is applicable to any size of W states and hence is a universal tool for expanding entanglement.  相似文献

Research on substituted phenol degradations has received substantial attention. In this work, effective Co(II) and Cu(II) phthalocyanine complexes as catalysts were studied to degrade toxic phenols to harmless products. The effect of various process parameters, such as initial concentration of phenol, catalyst, oxygen sources, and temperature on the degradation reaction was investigated to achieve maximum degradation efficiency. The catalytic activities of Co(II) and Cu(II) phthalocyanines were evaluated for oxidation of phenolic compounds such as p-nitrophenol, o-chlorophenol, 2,3-dichlorophenol, and m-methoxyphenol. Co(II) phthalocyanine displayed good catalytic performance in degradation of 2,3-dichlorophenol to 2,3-dichlorobenzaldehyde and 2,3-dichloro-1,4-benzoquinone with the highest TON and TOF values within 3?h at 50?°C. The fate of catalyst during the degradation process was followed by UV–Vis spectroscopy.  相似文献

A strange novel three-dimensional quadratic continuous autonomous chaotic system with fully golden proportion equilibria is proposed. It has only seven terms, three quadratic nonlinearities and one parameter ‘a’. The system equations have four equilibrium points and very interestingly all the equilibrium points have fully golden proportion values. Besides, this chaotic system has hidden amplitude control properties. The dynamic analyses of the system are presented such as equilibrium points, dissipativity, Lyapunov exponents, bifurcation diagrams, phase portraits and hidden amplitude control properties. Later, electronic circuit of the system is simulated in software and implemented in real environment. Finally, microcomputer-based random number generator (RNG) application and its NIST-800-22 tests are executed as another real-time application.  相似文献

In wall-bounded time-periodic flows, nonlinearity, associated with higher harmonic term(s) in velocity and/or acceleration outside the boundary layer, can significantly change the wall turbulence compared with that in the linear Stokes Boundary Layer. A significant feature of a nonlinear wall-bounded turbulent time-periodic flow is the formation of a net current which has not yet been mechanistically explained. This study investigates the effects of asymmetric velocity outside the boundary layer on wall turbulence and net current formation through Direct Numerical Simulations of a smooth-walled planar channel driven by the Second-order Stokes Wave. Simulation results suggest that net current characteristics depend on whether developed turbulence is present. When turbulence is developed, asymmetric viscous length scale is found to be the primary reason of the net current whereby a vertical offset between negative and positive Reynolds shear stress profiles, associated with forward and reverse flows, respectively, is created in a cycle. After averaging over a cycle, residual Reynolds shear stress, which drives the net current, is observed to be within the offset layer.  相似文献

Also, by the help of data of sodium and fluoride ions for all alkaline metal ions and halides absolute hydration enthalpies were determined.

ABSTRACT

In this study, preconcentration and separation of Cu(II) and Pb(II) ions by using Fe3O4@SiO2@Bacillus pumilis before their determinations by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) were investigated. The thermophilic Bacillus pumilis were isolated from Meyremderesi spring, ??rnak, Turkey. Effects of important parameters such as pH, adsorbent amount, eluent type, concentration and volume of eluent and sample volume on magnetic solid phase extraction (MSPE) were examined in details. The preconcentration factors for Cu(II) and Pb(II) ions were calculated as 30 and 40, respectively. The accuracy of the proposed extraction procedure was validated analysing certificated reference materials and addition – recovery tests. The concentration of copper and lead were determined in water samples from Turkey by Flame AAS after application developed preconcentration-separation method.  相似文献

The kinetic resolution of a variety of secondary para-substituted phenylethyl hydroperoxides by Raphanus sativus L. (black radish peroxidase) in the presence of guaiacol is reported. The peroxidase enzyme recognized (R)-configured alkyl aryl hydroperoxides, which furnished optically active (S)-hydroperoxides and (R)-alcohols. Kinetic resolution of tertiary hydroperoxides by the enzyme was unsuccessful. This study also shows how the optically active p-substituted (S)-hydroperoxides obtained can be employed as enantioselective oxidants in the asymmetric Weitz–Scheffer epoxidation of E-chalcone in the presence of KF-Al2O3 as a base. In all cases, a chalcone epoxide with the (αSR)-configuration was obtained as the major isomer. Under the optimized reaction conditions, the enantiomeric excess of the chalcone epoxide was obtained in up to 49% in CH3CN at ?40 °C.  相似文献

The aim of this study was to investigate the thermal degradability, and in particular, the thermal degradation mechanism of organophosphorus flame-retardant poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA). For this purpose thermogravimetry and direct pyrolysis mass spectrometry analyses were used. Release of diethylphosphinic acid, melamine, and several products involving Al-O-P and N-P linkages were detected from the organophosphorus additive containing aluminium diethylphosphinate, melamine polyphosphate and zinc borate. When incorporated in PMMA, reactions of diethylphosphinic acid, melamine and/or their derivatives with the ester group affected the decomposition pathways by generation of (C2H5)2POOCH3 and HNCO at relatively high temperatures.  相似文献
