An efficient and convenient oxidizing agent, sodium hypochlorite solution, has been used to chemically prepare the superconductor
La2CuO4+δ at room temperature. The crystallographic data show an enhanced orthorhombic distortion and an increase of the unit-cell
volume. The magnetic susceptibility properties reveal a sharp transition beginning at 45 K and the oxidized sample is a homogeneous
and single-phase bulk superconductor. The iodometric titration measurements indicate that the oxidized sample has a higher
excess-oxygen content of 0.11. Scanning electron microscope observations showed that no grain size difference was observed
for the sample before and after oxidation.

Replication of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV‐1) requires specific interactions of the Tat protein with the transactivation responsive region (TAR) RNA. Tat‐TAR RNA Interaction is mediated by a short arginine‐rich domain of the protein. Disruption of this interaction could, in theory, create a state of complete viral latency. Here, four novel 6‐amino‐6‐deoxytrehalose guanidinoglycoside derivatives ( 10 and 13 – 15 ) as target molecules have been designed to bind to TAR RNA for blocking the interaction of Tat‐TAR RNA. They were obtained by coupling 6‐amino‐6‐deoxy‐α,α‐trehalose ( 6 ) with the protected amino acids, deprotection by catalytic hydrogenation, followed by guanidinylated with S‐methylisothiourea sulfate. Their abilities to inhibit Tat‐TAR RNA interaction were determined by a Tat‐dependent HIV‐1 long terminal repeats (LTR)‐driven chloramphenicol acetyltransferase (CAT) assays. 相似文献

The correlation of chemical structure, crystalline morphology, and space charge distribution under a dc electrical field was investigated with three kinds of poly(propylene) (PP) with a different chemical structure, that is, homogeneous PP and block copolymer and random copolymer of PP. The space charge distribution of the samples was prominently affected by their chemical sequence structure and crystalline microstructure. Among samples of different PPs, all isothermally crystallized at 140 °C, the sample of random coPP represents the most well proportional space charge distribution and the smallest number of space charges. The effect of thermal history on the space charge distribution was also investigated by the samples of block coPP. The sample thermally treated at 50 °C clearly represents a better proportional distribution than that at higher temperature of 140 and 100 °C. Subsequent experiments indicate that the better proportional distribution attributes to imperfect and fine sperulites with the fine distribution of the “amorphous” region. The imperfect and fine sperulites originate from the random incorporation of ethylene segments or units into PP chains or from the low annealing temperature, and play an important role in the formation of shallow traps and transportation of space charges. © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. The domino process involves an unprecedented hydroxy‐cyanoalkylation of alkenes and subsequent lactonization with the creation of three chemical bonds and a quaternary carbon center. This study developed a thermal transfer printing (TTP) technique to fabricate a carbon nanotubes (CNTs) stiffened speaker diaphragm. The self-developed TTP stiffening technique does not require a high curing temperature that decreases the mechanical property of CNTs. Therefore, the inherent strength of CNTs was preserved. In addition to increasing the stiffness of diaphragm substrate, this technique alleviates the middle and high frequency attenuation associated with the sound pressure curve of a speaker, thereby smoothing the sound pressure curve and achieving a full sound range as well as reducing bass distortion and enhancing treble clarity. Furthermore, the TTP technique can stiffen a localized area on a diaphragm substrate, thus increasing diaphragm stiffness without markedly raising diaphragm weight. The Taguchi quality engineering method was applied to identify the optimal process parameters (i.e., transfer area, stiffening pattern, coating layers, and transfer temperature). Finally, the optimal process parameters were employed to fabricate a stiffened diaphragm, which was then assembled onto a speaker. The result indicated that the stiffened diaphragm improved the smoothness of the sound pressure curve for the speaker, which produced a mid-frequency dip difference (ΔdB) of 1.9 dB and an attenuation peak frequency (fpeak) of 4220 Hz. 相似文献

The syntheses of some diheterocyclic compounds from 2-thioacetohydrazide- 5,7-dimethyl-1,2,4-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine (1) are described. Compound 1 can be converted into triazoles, 1,3,4-oxadiazoles, and 1,3,4-thiadiazoles.
