We have designed phenylboronic acid group appended Ce(IV) bis(porphyrinate) double decker 1 and meso-meso linked porphyrin 2, useful for the allosteric binding of biologically important saccharides, Lewis oligosaccharides. Compound 1 binds Lewis oligosaccharides in aqueous media because of the boronic acid-diol interaction, but the complexation event can occur only above the critical concentrations because of the sigmoidal [oligosaccharide] versus [complex] isotherm. Compound 1 has a sufficiently high affinity with Lewis oligosaccharides (K = 10(5)-10(6) M(-2)) with Hill coefficients n of 1.8-2.0, and Lewis(X) series and Lewis(a) series give opposite, symmetrical CD spectra. This is the first example of efficient binding of Lewis oligosaccharides to the artificial receptor, which has become possible by positive homotropic allosterism.  相似文献

Recent large helical device experiments revealed that the transition from ion root to electron root occurred for the first time in neutral-beam-heated discharges, where no nonthermal electrons exist. The measured values of the radial electric field were found to be in qualitative agreement with those estimated by neoclassical theory. A clear reduction of ion thermal diffusivity was observed after the mode transition from ion root to electron root as predicted by neoclassical theory when the neoclassical ion loss is more dominant than the anomalous ion loss.  相似文献

It was observed that the vacuum magnetic island produced by an external error magnetic field in the large helical device shrank in the presence of plasma. This was evidenced by the disappearance of flat regions in the electron temperature profile obtained by Thomson scattering. We propose a model of time evolving networks in which a kind of transport between vertices generates new edges in the graph. We call the model “Network formed by traces of random walks”, because the transports are represented abstractly by random walks. Our numerical calculations yield several important properties observed commonly in complex networks, although the graph at initial time is only a one-dimensional lattice. For example, the distribution of vertex degree exhibits various behaviors such as exponential, power law like, and bi-modal distribution according to change of probability of extinction of edges. Another property such as strong clustering structure and small mean vertex–vertex distance can also be found. The transports represented by random walks in a framework of strong links between regular lattice is a new mechanisms which yields biased acquisition of links for vertices.  相似文献

Single-phases of Pb-substituted Bi-Ca-Co-O misfit-layer cobaltites with various Pb concentrations have been synthesized and the Pb-substitution effects on the structural, electrical and magnetic properties have been systematically investigated. Powder X-ray diffraction analysis showed that the single-phases of Bi1.8−x/2PbxCa2Co2Oz were obtained up to x=0.6-0.7 under the optimized synthesis conditions. The lattice parameters of Bi1.8−x/2PbxCa2Co2Oz continuously changed with increasing Pb concentration. The electron diffraction analysis suggested that the structure consisted of two different sublattices with a rock salt structure (RS) and a hexagonal CdI2 structure (H), respectively, without modulation. In combined with the chemical composition analysis, the chemical formulas of the x=0 and x=0.6 samples were determined approximately as [Bi1.74Co0.31Ca2.01O4]RS[CoO2]1.69 and [Bi1.47Pb0.38Co0.29Ca1.98O4]RS[CoO2]1.71, respectively. The electrical resistivity became more metallic with increasing the Pb concentration up to x=0.6. Moreover, the Pb-substitution simultaneously increased the antiferromagnetic Weiss temperatures and decreased the effective magnetic moments of the Co ions.  相似文献

Enantioselective, homogeneous hydrogenation of 3-phenyl-3-butenoic acid (1) has extensively been examined in the presence of the rhodium(I)/4,5-bis[(diphenylphosphino)methyl]-2,2-dimethyldioxolane (DIOP) catalyst systems. Optimization of the reaction conditions was undertaken mainly by controlling effects of added tertiary amines as well as solvent polarities on the enantio-selectivity of the product. The best asymmetric yield (85.1% e.e.) was attained when the hydrogenation was carried out in the presence of triethylamine (5 mol%) in 75% aqueous methanol using a neutral rhodium-DIOP catalyst.  相似文献

A facile method for the construction of an immunoconjugate which displays targeting ligands, such as antibody fragments, with a high density is reported. For this purpose, we synthesized a novel trifunctional crosslinking reagent. By the use of this reagent, ligands targeting the specific cell can be displayed on the surface of the drug carrier with a high density. In this study, we display HER2 (human epidermal growth‐factor receptor‐2) binding ligands on branched polyethylenimine (PEI), which can form polyplexes with plasmid DNA. Kinetic analysis of the binding to the extracellular domain of HER2 show the PEI displaying a high density of ligands binds to the target more strongly compared to the PEI displaying ligands at a low density. The increased density of HER2 ligands displayed on the gene carrier contributes to the improved transfection efficiency. This approach can be applied to other drug delivery systems, including liposome, micelle, and so on.  相似文献

It will provide us an effective method to study the color perception of the elderly if we can employ for young subjects a pair of glasses with color property chosen to simulate that of the elderly. One problem has to be solved before using such glasses based on the concept of the recognized visual space of illumination, that is, the size of the glasses. When a piece of a white paper is seen through a yellow filter in a room, it naturally appears yellowish. But if the observer uses the filter to cover his/her eyes entirely the white paper returns to its original white; this is known as color constancy. Between these two extreme cases, the color is expected to change from yellow to white. Chromaticness and hue of an achromatic test chart of a small or large size were determined by the elementary color naming method when the chart was seen monocularly through a red, yellow, green or blue filter, respectively, placed at various distances from the eyes. Chromaticness was large at around 40% when the visual field through the filter was equal to or smaller than the test chart, but it rapidly decreased when the visual field extended over the test chart so that objects other than the test chart were included in the visual field. It decreased to almost zero when the filter was about 5 cm or less away from the eye. It was concluded that we do not necessarily have to use goggles to cover the entire visual field but can use a normal pair of glasses made of colored filters for young subjects to study the color perception of the elderly with understanding that the study is only for the color perception experienced while wearing the glasses.  相似文献
