Highly regioselective and efficient borylation of a variety of porphyrins has been achieved by reaction with bis(pinacolato)diboron through C? H bond activation under iridium catalysis on the basis of the synthetic protocol developed by Miyaura, Hartwig, and Smith. A boryl group can be selectively introduced at sterically uncongested positions in the peripheral aryl groups of porphyrin substrates whose peripheral β‐positions are sterically hindered. Curiously, β substituents adjacent to the aryl group to be borylated have unexpectedly large effects on the regioselectivity, because the iridium catalyst can discriminate between subtle steric differences. Chemoselective borylation was also achieved for several functionalized porphyrins. This borylation protocol can be applied to various monomeric and oligomeric functional porphyrins, hence offering an efficient route to elaborate multiporphyrin‐based molecular constructs. 相似文献

The design of siloxane‐based nanoparticles is important for many applications. Here we show a novel approach to form core–shell silica nanoparticles of a few nanometers in size through the principle of “dispersion of ordered mesostructures into single nanocomponents”. Self‐assembled siloxane–organic hybrids derived from amphiphilic alkyl‐oligosiloxanes were postsynthetically dispersed in organic solvent to yield uniform nanoparticles consisting of dense lipophilic shells and hydrophilic siloxane cores. In situ encapsulation of fluorescent dyes into the nanoparticles demonstrated their ability to function as nanocarriers. 相似文献

The dynamics of the flip-flop motion of single buckled dimers of Si(100) was elucidated by locating the tip of a scanning tunneling microscope over a single flip-flopping dimer and measuring the tunneling current (time trace). Based on a statistical analysis of the time trace, we succeeded in estimating the activation energy and the energy splitting between the two stable configurations of buckling. Strong dependence of the dynamics of the flip-flop motion on the local environment was found: Activation energy differs significantly (directly measured 32 meV, estimated approximately 110 meV) for dimers in different domains. 相似文献
