Two capillary columns of different polarities were coupled in series by means of a coupling restrictor. The pressure of the first column and the midpoint pressure (between the coupling restrictor and the second column) were controlled independently of each other using two pumps. The selectivity of this separation system was highly dependent on the pressure difference and could be continuously changed between those of two columns. The pressure difference could be changed even in course of separation for fine tuning of the selectivity. Several examples were shown to demonstrate the utility of this method.  相似文献

fine structure was observed in the conductance curve of a tunneling junction composed of a single crystalline Bi2212 and an evaporated SnO2 film. It is similar to those of Bi2212-GaAs mechanical junctions and there is a certain correspondence between the structure and the phonon density of states. Thus the previous conclusion that the structure is due to phonons has been complemented by this work. The energy gap 2 was 57 meV at 13 K and T c was 78 K. 2(0)/k B T c is then 8.3. 1,2-Dihydropyrazin-2-one derivatives, which have two aminoalkyl groups at the positions 3 and 6, were found to be efficient tools for the construction of potent, selective and long-acting opioid mimetics. During the course of preparation, we found that the catalytic hydrogenation of 3,6-bis(benzyloxycarbonylaminomethyl)-5-methyl-1,2-dihydropyrazin-2-one to remove the benzyloxycarbonyl groups resulted in a side reaction. By MS and NMR studies and by preparation of additional 1,2-dihydropyrazin-2-one derivatives, the structure of the by-product was identified as 3-aminomethyl-5,6-dimethyl-1,2-dihydropyrazin-2-one. Preparation of additional compounds substituted with deuterium provided us with sufficient information to confirm the structure of the product and to support a cyclization mechanism in its formation.  相似文献

meso-Pyridine-appended zinc(II) porphyrins Mn and their meso-meso-linked dimers Dn assemble spontaneously, in noncoordinating solvents such as CHCl3, into tetrameric porphyrin squares Sn and porphyrin boxes Bn, respectively. Interestingly, formation of Bn from Dn proceeds via homochiral self-sorting assembly, which has been verified by optical separations of B1 and B2. Optically pure enantiomers of B1 and B2 display strong Cotton effects in the CD spectra, which reflect the length of the pyridyl arm, thus providing evidence for the exciton coupling between the noncovalent neighboring porphyrin rings. Excitation energy migration processes within Bn have been investigated by steady-state and time-resolved spectroscopic methods in conjunction with polarization anisotropy measurements. Both the pump-power dependence on the femtosecond transient absorption and the transient absorption anisotropy decay profiles are directly associated with the excitation energy migration process within the Bn boxes, where the exciton-exciton annihilation time and the polarization anisotropy rise time are well described in terms of the F?rster-type incoherent energy hopping model by assuming a number of hopping sites of N = 4 and an exciton coherence length of L = 2. Consequently, the excitation energy hopping rates between the zinc(II) diporphyrin units have been estimated for B1 (48 ps)(-1), B2 (98 +/- 3 ps)(-1), and B3 (361 +/- 6 ps)(-1). Overall, the self-assembled porphyrin boxes Bn serve as a well-defined three-dimensional model for the light-harvesting complex.  相似文献

Abstract

The reaction of aluminum alkoxide in straight-chain primary alcohols at elevated temperatures yielded the alkyl derivatives of boehmite [AlO(OH)1-x (OR) x ], a class of intercalation compound where the guest moieties are covalently bonded to the host boehmite layers. The addition of small amounts of water to the reaction system yielded another phase having a larger basal spacing. XRD, IR, and elemental analysis showed that the products had the boehmite layer structure with the alkyl moieties incorporated between the boehmite layers. IR spectra of the products also exhibited bands due to hydrogen bonding between the boehmite layers. These results suggest that the products are the alkyl derivatives of boehmite having the second stage structure. Because water in the reaction medium facilitated the hydrolysis of intermediate aluminum alkoxides, the product with the second stage structure had smaller alkyl/Al ratio and therefore had smaller basal spacing than that expected from the corresponding first stage product.  相似文献

Abstract

New chiral dopants β-hydroxy ketones 1, 1,3-diols 2, 1,3-dioxanes 3 and 1,3-dioxan-2-ones 4 were designed and synthesized. Reaction of (R)-1,2-epoxyoctane with carbanions derived from 2-(4-substituted phenyl)-1,3-dithianes followed by hydrolysis of the resulting hydroxy dithianes afforded 1. Reduction of 1 gave the diols 2, which yielded 3 upon acetalization and 4 upon carbonation. The syn isomers of 2, 3, and 4 exhibited larger spontaneous polarizations, when applied as chiral dopants, than the anti isomers or hydroxy ketones 1.  相似文献
