Positron annihilation and Hall effect inn-InP crystals as a function of electron irradiation up to 1 · 1019 cm–2 and post-irradiated isochronal annealing up to 550 °C have been studied. It is concluded that in irradiatedn-InP samples positrons interact with negatively charged acceptor-type defect with level atE c –0.33 eV, probablyV In (primary defect). In post-irradiated isochronal annealed (up to 330 °C) samples ofn-InP positron trapping occurs preferably in secondary defects-vacancy clusters, which are formed in the temperature range (150–300 °C). Inn-InP crystals containing radiation induced defects the trapping rate was found to decrease with temperature in the range (300–77) K.  相似文献

The magnetic properties of chalcogenide spinel CuCr2Se4 nanocrystals have been studied as a function of crystallite size (15-30 nm). A solution-based method is used for the facile synthesis of the nanocrystals with good size control. They have close to cubic morphology with a narrow size distribution and exhibit superparamagnetic behavior at room temperature. The Curie temperature and saturation magnetization of the nanocrystals are lower as compared with the bulk and decrease with decreasing nanocrystal size. A similar trend is observed in the paramagnetic state for the Curie-Weiss temperature and effective magnetic moment. The low temperature magnetization behavior can be qualitatively explained by spin glass dynamics.  相似文献

Electrical transport and structural characterizations of isoelectronically substituted Ba(Fe0.9Ru0.1)2As2 have been performed as a function of pressure up to ~ 30 GPa and temperature down to ~ 10 K using designer diamond anvil cell. Similar to undoped members of the AFe2As2 (A = Ca, Sr, Ba) family, Ba(Fe0.9Ru0.1)2As2 shows anomalous a-lattice parameter expansion with increasing pressure and a concurrent ThCr2Si2 type isostructural (I4/mmm) phase transition from tetragonal (T) phase to a collapsed tetragonal (cT) phase occurring between 12 and 17 GPa where the a is maximum. Above 17 GPa, the material remains in the cT phase up to 30 GPa at 200 K. The resistance measurements show evidence of pressure-induced zero resistance that may be indicative of high-temperature superconductivity for pressures above 3.9 GPa. The onset of the resistive transition temperature decreases gradually with increasing pressure before completely disappearing for pressures above ~ 10.6 GPa near the T-cT transition. We have determined the crystal structure of the high-T c phase of Ru-doped BaFe2As2 to remain as tetragonal (I4/mmm) by analyzing the X-ray diffraction pattern obtained at 10 K and 9.7 ± 0.7 GPa, as opposed to inferring the structural transition from electrical resistance measurement, as in a previous report [S.K. Kim, M.S. Torikachvili, E. Colombier, A. Thaler, S.L. Bud’ko, P.C. Canfield, Phys. Rev. B 84, 134525 (2011)].  相似文献

The Fe vibrational density of states (VDOS) has been determined for the heme proteins deoxymyoglobin, metmyoglobin, and cytochrome f in the oxidized and reduced states, using nuclear resonance vibrational spectroscopy (NRVS). For cytochrome f in particular, the NRVS spectrum is compared with multiwavelength resonance Raman spectra to identify those Raman modes with significant Fe displacement. Modes not seen by Raman due to optical selection rules appear in the NRVS spectrum. The mean Fe force constant extracted from the VDOS illustrates how Fe dynamics varies among these four monoheme proteins, and is correlated with oxidation and spin state trends seen in model heme compounds. The protein's contribution to Fe motion is dominant at low frequencies, where coupling to the backbone tightly constrains Fe displacements in cytochrome f, in contrast to enhanced heme flexibility in myoglobin.  相似文献
