The mass-energy and angular distributions of binary fissionlike fragments produced in the reactions 44Ca + 206Pb and 64Ni + 186W, leading to the same compound nucleus 250No, have been measured at excitation energies of 30 and 40 MeV. The presence of the quasifission component was observed for both systems. But in the case of the 64Ni ion, the quasifission process dominates, while in the case of the 44Ca ion, the main process is the fusion-fission of compound nucleus 250No. From the angular distributions of reaction fragments, the time scales were found for quasifission and fusion-fission for both reactions. 相似文献

Ternary fission induced by cold polarized neutrons was studied for the two isotopes 233U and 235U at the Institut Laue-Langevin in Grenoble, France. In particular two types of angular correlations between the spin of the incoming neutrons and the emission directions of both, the fission fragments (FF) and the ternary particles (TP), were investigated. For FF and TP detectors facing the target at right angles to the neutron beam, first, for longitudinally polarized neutrons a triple correlation between spin and the emission of outgoing particles was explored and, second, for transversally polarized neutrons parity violating asymmetries in the emission of FFs and TPs were analyzed. The E0 and E2 transitions depopulating the excited 0+ states in 64,66,68Zn are investigated. Several methods of γ-ray, conversion-electron and internal-pair spectrometry are employed, including a new time measurement technique. A total of 5 E0 transitions are observed and the monopole strengths ρ2(0i+ → 0i+) for most of them are extracted. Cross-sections for nuclide production in fast-neutron induced fission of natural uranium are part of the input for predictions of yields of neutron-rich nuclides obtainable at Radioactive Ion Beam facilities. We first describe the neutron spectra produced according to the scheme once envisaged for SPES (protons on an enriched 13C target) and the one adopted for SPIRAL2 (deuterons on natural carbon), which both have been measured at JYFL. We then present the measurements of Z-splits in isobaric chains performed at IGISOL. When coupled with the fission cross-section and A-splits for the relevant neutron spectrum, they allow estimates of nuclide cross-sections. It looks that calculations, even those based on modern libraries, are too optimistic by about a factor of two. 相似文献
