The value of the central density is of key importance for annihilation processes. For the ground state we discuss its determination from the moments of the ground state density. We first review the way of reaching the moments from the spectrum. In particular we show how to get the lowest moments in D = 3, namely 〈r−2〉 and 〈r−1〉 from the series expansion of the Laplace transform of the density. We then recall a method to obtain the central density based on the Stieltjes moment problem. If the number of known moments is finite, this technique yields a lower bound. We investigate the possibilities to estimate the accuracy of the bound and the corresponding asymptotic value. An application to the muonic 208Pb atom is presented. 相似文献

A numerical calculation is made of small oscillations of a viscous incompressible fluid that fills half of a horizontal cylindrical channel. The calculation is made with and without allowance for surface tension. The results of the calculation show that allowance for surface tension increases the damping of the oscillations. The general properties of problems of the normal oscillations of a heavy and capillary viscous incompressible fluid were studied in [1–3], in which the possibility of applying the Bubnov-Galerkin method to these problems was pointed out. A precise understanding of individual cellular processes is essential to meet the expectations of most advanced cell biology. Therefore single-cell analysis is considered to be one of possible approach to overcome any misleading of cell characteristics by averaging large groups of cells in bulk conditions. In the present work, we modified a newly designed microchip for single-cell analysis and regulated the cell-adhesive area inside a cell-chamber of the microfluidic system. By using surface-modification techniques involving a silanization compound, a photo-labile linker and the 2-methacryloyloxyethyl phosphorylcholine (MPC) polymer were covalently bonded on the surface of a microchannel. The MPC polymer was utilized as a non-biofouling compound for inhibiting non-specific binding of the biological samples inside the microchannel, and was selectively removed by a photochemical reaction that controlled the cell attachment. To achieve the desired single-macrophage patterning and culture in the cell-chamber of the microchannel, the cell density and flow rate of the culture medium were optimized. We found that a cell density of 2.0 × 10(6) cells/ml was the appropriate condition to introduce a single cell in each cell chamber. Furthermore, the macrophage was cultured in a small size of the cell chamber in a safe way for 5 h at a flow rate of 0.2 μl/min under the medium condition. This strategy can be a powerful tool for broadening new possibilities in studies of individual cellular processes in a dynamic microfluidic device. 相似文献

In this paper, we start with the consideration of direct collocation-based Runge-Kutta-Nyström (RKN) methods with continuous output formulas for solving nonstiff initial-value problems (IVPs) for systems of special second-order differential equations y″(t) = f(t, y(t)). At nth step, the continuous output formulas can be used for calculating the step values at (n + 2)th step and the integration processes can be proceeded twostep-by-twostep. In this case, we obtain twostep-by-twostep RKN methods with continuous output formulas (continuous TBTRKN methods). Furthermore, we consider a parallel predictor-corrector (PC) iteration scheme using the continuous TBTRKN methods as corrector methods with predictor methods defined by the continuous output formulas. The resulting twostep-by-twostep parallel-iterated RKN-type PC methods with continuous output formulas (twostep-by-twostep continuous PIRKN-type PC methods or TBTCPIRKN methods) give us a faster integration processes. Numerical comparisons based on the solution of a few widely-used test problems show that the new TBTCPIRKN methods are much more efficient than the well-known PIRKN methods, the famous nonstiff sequential ODEX2, DOP853 codes and comparable with the CPIRKN methods. 相似文献

For future all‐soluble organic thin film transistor (OTFT) applications, a new soluble n‐type air‐stable perylene diimide derivative semiconductor material with (trifluoromethyl)benzyl groups (TC–PDI–F) is synthesized. The film is formed by spin‐coating in air and optimized for OTFT fabrications. The transistor characteristics and air‐stability of the TC–PDI–F OTFTs is measured to investigate the feasibility of using solution‐processed TC–PDI–F for future OTFT applications. For all‐solution OTFT process applications, the transistor characteristics are demonstrated by using TC–PDI–F as an n‐type semiconductor material and liquid‐phase‐deposited SiO2 (LPD–SiO2) as a gate dielectric material. We present criteria for the Cohen–Macaulayness of a monomial ideal in terms of its primary decomposition. These criteria allow us to use tools of graph theory and of linear programming to study the Cohen–Macaulayness of monomial ideals which are intersections of prime ideal powers. We can characterize the Cohen–Macaulayness of the second symbolic power or of all symbolic powers of a Stanley–Reisner ideal in terms of the simplicial complex. These characterizations show that the simplicial complex must be very compact if some symbolic power is Cohen–Macaulay. In particular, all symbolic powers are Cohen–Macaulay if and only if the simplicial complex is a matroid complex. We also prove that the Cohen–Macaulayness can pass from a symbolic power to another symbolic powers in different ways. 相似文献

The author and Rohatgi recently proved a ‘shuffling theorem’ for doubly-dented hexagons. In particular, they showed that shuffling removed unit triangles along a horizontal axis in a hexagon changes the tiling number by only a simple multiplicative factor. In this paper, we consider a similar phenomenon for a symmetry class of tilings, namely, the reflectively symmetric tilings. We also prove several shuffling theorems for halved hexagons. 相似文献
