The crystal and molecular structures of 1,18-dibromooctadecane are determined precisely by X-ray diffraction method. The results obtained are as follows: empirical formula, C18H36Br2, formula weight Mr = 412.27, crystal system, monoclinic, space group, P21/n, lattice parameters, a = 5.496(1), b = 5.403(1), c = 34.374(4) Å, β = 94.50(1)°, volume of unit cell, V = 1017.6(3) Å3, Z value, Z = 2, calculated density, Dx = 1.346 g/cm3, wave length of X-ray, λ(CuKα) = 1.5418 Å, absorption coefficient, μ(CuKα) = 49.64 cm−1, F(000) = 428.00, temperature, T = 293 ± 1 K, R factor, R = 0.052, weighted R factor, Rw = 0.078 for 1019 unique observed reflection [I > 3σ (I)]. There are no unusual bond distances or angles. The structure obtained here is quite similar to that of 1,12-dibromododecane. 相似文献

We revealed free radicals in wheat flour before and after gamma-ray irradiation and their thermal behavior during heat-treatment using electron spin resonance (ESR) spectroscopy. The ESR spectrum of wheat flour before irradiation consists of a sextet centered at g = 2.0 and a singlet signal at the same g-value position. The first one is attributable to a signal with hyperfine (hf) interactions of Mn2+ ion (hf constant: 7.4 mT). The second is originated from carbon-centered radical. Upon gamma-ray irradiation, however, a new signal with two triplet lines at the low and high field ends was detected in wheat flour on top of the Mn2+ sextet lines. We analyzed the triplet ESR lines as powder spectra (rhombic g-tensor symmetry) with nitrogen (14N) hyperfine interactions. This indicates that a new organic radical was induced in the conjugated protein portion of wheat flour by the gamma-ray irradiation. Intensity of the organic free radical at g = 2.0 detected in irradiated wheat flour increased monotonically by the thermal treatment. The analysis of the time-dependent evolution and decay process based on the theory of transient phenomena as well as the nonlinear least-squares numerical method provided a unique time constant for the radical evolution and decay in wheat flour during the heat-treatment. 相似文献

We deal with an inverse obstacle problem for general second order scalar elliptic operators with real principal part and analytic coefficients near the obstacle. We assume that the boundary of the obstacle is a non-analytic hypersurface. We show that, when we put Dirichlet boundary conditions, one measurement is enough to reconstruct the obstacle. In the Neumann case, we have results only for n = 2, 3 in general. More precisely, we show that one measurement is enough for n = 2 and we need 3 linearly independent inputs for n = 3. However, in the case for the Helmholtz equation, we only need n ? 1 linearly independent inputs, for any n ≥ 2. Here n is the dimension of the space containing the obstacle. These are justified by investigating the analyticity properties of the zero set of a real analytic function. In addition, we give a reconstruction procedure for each case to recover the shape of obstacle. Although we state the results for the scattering problems, similar results are true for the associated boundary value problems. 相似文献

A series of novel 3-substituted-1-[5-methyl-1-(2-pyrimidinyl)-4-pyrazolyl]-1-trans-propenes in order to improve the in vitro and in vivo activity of our prototype 3-[4-(3-chlorophenyl)-1-piperazinyl]-1-[5-methyl-1-(2-pyrimidinyl)-4-pyrazolyl]-1-trans-propene (2) were synthesized and evaluated by assays of growth inhibition against several tumor cell lines in vitro and antitumor activity against some tumor models when dosed both intraperitoneally and orally in vivo. Compounds 7a and 7e, the 3,5-difluorophenyl and 3,5-dichlorophenyl analogues of 2, respectively, showed significantly more potent cytotoxicity than 2 in vitro and potent antitumor activities without causing decrease of body temperature related to side effects. 相似文献
