Cellulose triacetate (CTA) derivatives having a disulfide group at the reducing-end (CTA2S, CTA13S, CTA41S), with number average degrees of polymerization (DPns) of 2, 13 and 41, respectively, were prepared. The CTA-self-assembled gold nanoparticles (CTA2Au, CTA13Au, and CTA41Au) were obtained through the reduction of gold salt (HAuCl4) with CTASs. The diameters (d) and the interparticle distances (L) of the gold cores were analyzed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) observations. The d values of CTA2Au, CTA13Au, and CTA41Au, were 8.7, 7.9, and 13.4 nm respectively. The L values of CTA2Au, CTA13Au, and CTA41Au, were 2.8, 6.3, and 20.9 nm, respectively, and agreed well with the molecular length (l) of CTAS chains (ls of CTA2S, CTA13S, CTA41S = 2.0, 7.5, 21.5 nm, respectively). The hydrodynamic diameters (D) of CTAAu nanoparticles in chloroform solution, measured by dynamic light scattering (DLS), were larger than the d values and increased with the increase in the molecular length of the CTA chains. The CTAS chain was found to work as an excellent stabilizer of the gold nanoparticles in both solid state and solution. The molecular length of CTA chains controlled the size and the alignment of the gold nanoparticles. As a result, the radially oriented CTA chains on the gold nanoparticles were successfully prepared.  相似文献

Efficient synthesis of the tricyclic key intermediate 2 for (−)-FR901483 1 was accomplished. The precursor of the intramolecular aldol reaction 4b is constructed by the Ugi 4CC reaction and subsequent intramolecular Dieckmann condensation. This approach allows a fully stereocontrolled total synthesis of (−)-FR901483, which would provide various derivatives.  相似文献

Colloidosomes have attracted great interest in recent years because of the capability of storage and delivery of useful materials in various fields. In this article, a novel technique for formation of colloidosomes at room temperature suitable for encapsulation of biomaterials was examined. We demonstrate the formation of colloidosomes of 18.0 μm in size at room temperature by adding a small amount of ethanol into the continuous phase of sunflower oil. Poly(methyl methacrylate-co-butyl acrylate) latex particles of 185 nm in size, used in this study, were found to aggregate when ethanol was added to their suspension. We suggest that the shell of the water-core emulsions was locked by the aggregation of latex particles due to the diffusion of ethanol into the aqueous latex suspension.  相似文献

We demonstrate the formation of nanoscale volcano-like structures induced by ion-beam irradiation of nanoscale pores in freestanding silicon nitride membranes. Accreted matter is delivered to the volcanoes from micrometer distances along the surface. Volcano formation accompanies nanopore shrinking and depends on geometrical factors and the presence of a conducting layer on the membrane's back surface. We argue that surface electric fields play an important role in accounting for the experimental observations.  相似文献

We demonstrate the time reversal Aharonov-Casher (AC) effect in small arrays of mesoscopic semiconductor rings. By using an electrostatic gate we can control the spin precession rate and follow the AC phase over several interference periods. We show that we control the precession rate in two different gate voltage ranges; in the lower range the gate voltage dependence is strong and linear and in the higher range the dependence in almost an order of magnitude weaker. We also see the second harmonic of the AC interference, oscillating with half the period. We finally map the AC phase to the spin-orbit interaction parameter alpha and find it is consistent with Shubnikov-de Haas analysis.  相似文献

A new nanophase-separated structure with parallel double periodicity has been identified for an undecablock terpolymer in bulk. The polymer includes two long poly(2-vinypyridine) (P) chains on each end, with five short polyisoprene (I) and four short polystyrene (S) chains at the center. This polymer exhibits a hierarchical lamellar structure with two crystallographic periods: 88 nm and 16 nm. The 88 nm period includes one thick P lamella and five thin I-S-I-S-I lamellae, of extremely high orientation.  相似文献

Winged animals such as insects are capable of flying and surviving in an unsteady and unpredictable aerial environment. They generate and control aerodynamic forces by flapping their flexible wings. While the dynamic shape changes of their flapping wings are known to enhance the efficiency of their flight, they can also affect the stability of a flapping wing flyer under unpredictable disturbances by responding to the sudden changes of aerodynamic forces on the wing. In order to test the hypothesis, the gust response of flexible flapping wings is investigated numerically with a specific focus on the passive maintenance of aerodynamic forces by the wing flexibility. The computational model is based on a dynamic flight simulator that can incorporate the realistic morphology, the kinematics, the structural dynamics, the aerodynamics and the fluid–structure interactions of a hovering hawkmoth. The longitudinal gusts are imposed against the tethered model of a hovering hawkmoth with flexible flapping wings. It is found that the aerodynamic forces on the flapping wings are affected by the gust, because of the increase or decrease in relative wingtip velocity or kinematic angle of attack. The passive shape change of flexible wings can, however, reduce the changes in the magnitude and direction of aerodynamic forces by the gusts from various directions, except for the downward gust. Such adaptive response of the flexible structure to stabilise the attitude can be classified into the mechanical feedback, which works passively with minimal delay, and is of great importance to the design of bio-inspired flapping wings for micro-air vehicles.  相似文献
