An efficient catalytic oxidative bromination of arenes, alkenes, and alkynes in aqueous media was achieved under relatively mild conditions by using NH4VO3 catalyst combined with H2O2, HBr, and KBr. Dodecyltrimethylammonium bromide was found to serve as an efficient surfactant to facilitate the NH4VO3-catalyzed bromination in aqueous media.  相似文献

Ion flotation is used to concentrate chromium(VI) in the range 3–70μg l-1 from 14 samples. The chromium(III)—diphenylcarbazone complex formed by reaction with diphenylcarbazide is floated efficiently with sodium lauryl sulfate, and the subsided foam is measured spectrophotometrically after simple dilution. Continuous flotation methods at solution flow rates of 2, 3 and 4 l h-1 are discussed.  相似文献

Supramolecular ferroelectric liquid crystalline complexes have been obtained from 4-alkoxybenzoic acids and optically active trans-4-substituted-4'-stilbazoles. Chiral smectic C phases are induced by the formation of supramolecular mesogenic structure through the selective intermolecular hydrogen bond between the achiral benzoic acids and the chiral non-mesogenic stilbazoles.  相似文献

Optically pure (S)-3-phenylthio-1,2-propanediol was obtained by the enantioselective reduction of 1-hydroxy-3-phenylthio-2-propanone with the Baker's yeast, and was found to be a convenient precursor for both enantiomers of secondary alcohols, which was demonstrated in the synthesis of both enantiomeric forms of 5-hexadecanolide via phenyl (S)-glycidyl sulfide as the key intermediate.  相似文献

The features of analytical systems utilizing microfluidic devices, especially detection methods, are described. Electrochemical detection (EC), laser-induced fluorescence (LIF), mass spectrometry (MS), and chemical luminescence (CL) methods are covered. EC enables detection without labeling and has been used in recent years because of its low cost and sensitivity. LIF is the most generally used detection method in microchip separations. Use of LED as an excitation source for fluorescence measurement was also developed for the purpose of miniaturization of the entire system, including detection and separation. Although MS enables highly sensitive analysis, the interface between MS and micro channels is still under examination. This review with fifty-two references introduces interesting detection methods for microchip separations. Related separation methods using microfluidic devices are also discussed.  相似文献

Nano-electrospray ionization (ESI) Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (FTICRMS) was applied to identify the molecular species of phosphatidylethanolamine of Caenorhabditis elegans, which has a high concentration of phospholipids with a fatty acyl chain having an odd number of carbon atoms. The molecular species of diacyl phosphatidylethanolamine with one fatty acyl chain having an odd number of carbon atoms and one fatty acyl chain having an even number of carbon atoms was identified separately from alkyl-acyl phosphatidylethanolamine with an alkyl chain having an even number of carbon atoms and a fatty acyl chain having an even number of carbon atoms. Furthermore, nano-ESI-FTICRMS was applied to the direct identification of oxidized phosphatidylcholine from soybean. The mass peaks of individual molecular species of oxidative phosphatidylcholine, such as 34:3 diacyl phosphatidylcholine with peroxide (+2O) (m/z 788.544) or 34:2 diacyl phosphatidylcholine with peroxide (+2O) (m/z 790.560), can be separated from the peaks of the molecular species of the non-oxidative phospholipids. This suggests that the mass peaks with a difference of less than 0.1 mass units in their molecular weight can be separated and that their individual exact molecular compositions can be obtained by the FTICRMS analysis. The high resolution and high accuracy of FTICRMS are very effective in the analysis of molecular species of phospholipids and their derivatives.  相似文献

An emulsion bioreactor for production of (2R,3S)-3-(4-methoxyphenyl) glycidic acid methyl ester ([-]MPGM) from a racemic mixture ([±]MPGM) using the lipase fromSerratia marcescens has been proposed. Kinetics of hydrolyzing reaction and purification of (-)MPGM from the reaction mixture were investigated to provide a basis for industrial application of this bioreactor. The hydrolyzing reaction in the bioreactor proceeded at a rate that was first order in substrate concentration. The reaction rate was affected by a stirring speed and the ratio of the aqueous phase containing lipase to the toluene phase containing substrate. Phase separation after the enzymatic reaction was accomplished by addition of surfactant to the reaction mixture, and crystalline (-)MPGM with a chemical purity of 100% and optical purity of 100% enantiomeric excess was obtained in a high yield of 40–43% by concentration of the toluene solution.  相似文献

The thickening properties of aqueous solutions of HHM-HEC (hydrophobically-hydrophilically modified hydroxyethylcellulose) and the emulsification mechanisms of HHM-HEC/water/oil systems were investigated. A dramatic increase in viscosity was observed with increased HHM-HEC concentration in water, caused by aggregation of hydrophobic alkyl chains. At higher concentrations of HHM-HEC (above 0.6 wt%) in water, it forms an elastic gel, which has good thixotropic properties and a high yield value. O/W (oil-in-water) type emulsions were obtained using HHM-HEC, which can emulsify various kinds of oil, including hydrocarbon, silicone, and perfluoropolymethylisopropyl ether. The viscosity of these emulsions depends only upon the oil volume fraction, not on the kind of oil. In addition, the oil particle size in the emulsions remained constant after a certain period because HHM-HEC formed a strong gel network structure and a protective layer, which prevented the emulsion from coalescing. Measurements of interfacial tension revealed that the alkyl chains in HHM-HEC did not significantly lower the interfacial tension at the water/oil interface when 0.5 wt% of HHM-HEC was added to water. Steady flow and oscillatory experimental results show that the rheological behavior of HHM-HEC/water/oil emulsions was similar to that of aqueous solutions of HHM-HEC. In the HHM-HEC/water/oil emulsion system, oil droplets were dispersed and kept stable in the strong gel structure of HHM-HEC. The aqueous solution of HHM-HEC showed salt resistance. It is thought to be due to sulfonic acid groups in HHM-HEC. The stability of the emulsion using HHM-HEC is based on both protective colloidal effects and associative thickening caused by alkyl chains in HHM-HEC.  相似文献

We have determined the rotational state distributions of NO(v'=0,1,2) products produced from the reaction O(1D)+N2O. This is the first full characterization of the product rotational distribution of this reaction. The main part of each rotational distribution (up to j' approximately 80) has rotational temperature approximately 20,000 K and all these distributions are quite near to those predicted by the phase space theory (PST). This observation and previously reported vibrational distribution indicate that the most part of the energy partitioning of the reaction products is at least apparently statistical although the intermediate of this reaction is not so stable as to ensure the long lifetime. On the other hand, the distributions in the high rotational levels (j'=80-100) are found to decrease more sharply as j' increases than the PST predictions. The origin of the observed decrease of the distribution is discussed with quasiclassical trajectory (QCT) calculations on a five-dimensional ab initio potential energy surface (PES). The observed near-statistical distribution and the sharp decrease in the high-j' levels are well reproduced by a "half-collision" QCT calculation, where statistical distribution at the reaction intermediate is assumed. This agreement shows the rotation-translation interaction in the exit region has an effect of yielding small high-j' populations. However, a little bias of the calculated distribution toward lower rotational excitation than the observed one indicates that the combination of the statistical intermediate and the exit interaction on the current PES does not completely describe the real system. It is suggested that the reaction intermediate is generated with the distribution which is close to statistical but a little biased toward yielding high-j' products, and that the interaction in the exit region of the PES results in the sharp decrease in the high-j' levels.  相似文献

The ability of some metal complexes of 5,10,15,20-tetraphenylporphyrin (TPP) to give a voltammetric wave due to the heterogeneous electron transfer (ET) at a nitrobenzene (NB)/water (W) interface has been examined. The previously-proposed, electron-conductor separating oil-water (ECSOW) system has been successfully employed to find that the TPP complex with cadmium(II) added to NB gives a well-defined, reversible wave for the heterogeneous (i.e., "true") ET with the hexacyanoferrate couple in W. A digital simulation analysis has entirely excluded the possibility of the ion-transfer mechanism due to the homogeneous ET in W. The a.c. impedance method has then been used to determine the kinetic parameters including the standard rate constant k0 (= 0.10 cm M(-1) s(-1)) and the transfer coefficient alpha (= 0.53 at the half-wave potential). These values are in good agreement with those predicted from the Marcus theory with the assumption that the heterogeneous ET due to molecular collision occurs at the "sharp" NB/W interface.  相似文献
