A novel polymeric electrolyte based on a self-assembled copolymer moiety has been prepared by a simple method of photo-induced radical polymerization of a mixture consisting of stearylmethacrylate (SMA) and poly(ethylene glycol)-monomethacrylate (PEM) that dissolves LiBF4 as the electrolytic salt. The SMA moiety work as mechanically stable backbone and the PEM unit dissolving the salts serves as ion-conducting path in the polymeric composite. Solid-state NMR measurements indicated that the resulting polymer composite consists of PEM-rich and SMA-rich phases, each of which exists within several nanometers apart. The ionic conductivity of the polymer electrolyte with the composition of PEM/SMA = 7/3 (by mass ratio) was 2.8 × 10?5 S cm?1 at 50 °C, which was significantly higher than that of the polymer electrolyte based on cross-linked PEM copolymer without SMA.  相似文献

The antisymmetric property of many-electron wave functions results in the well-known Fermi hole, which implies that any two electrons with the same spin cannot be at the same point in space. We here point out that for certain types of antisymmetric wave functions, there exist curvilinear and surficial electron holes which imply that two electrons cannot be on particular curves and surfaces in space.  相似文献

In order to develop a chiral stationary phase (CSP), which has even higher separation ability than the corresponding commercially available crown ether based CSP (OA-8000 having a pseudo-18-crown-6 ether with an OMe group as a selector), chemically bonded type CSP having a phenolic OH group on a crown ring was developed. Normal mobile phases with or without acid additive can be used with this OH type CSP in contrast to the conventional OMe type CSP which has a neutral chiral selector. Enantiomers of 25 out of 27 amino compounds, including 20 amino acids, 5 amino alcohols, and 2 lipophilic amines, were efficiently separated on a column with this CSP. Nine amino compounds out of 27 were separated with better separation factors than the corresponding OMe type CSP. It is noteworthy that the chromatography on this CSP exhibited excellent enantiomer-separations for amines and amino alcohols when triethyl amine was used as an additive in the mobile phase. Comparison of enantiomer separation ability on this OH type of CSP and on the OMe type of CSP and correlation between the enantioselectivity in chiral chromatography and that of the corresponding model compounds in solution imply that the chiral separation arose from chiral recognition in host guest interactions.  相似文献

MassBank is the first public repository of mass spectra of small chemical compounds for life sciences (<3000 Da). The database contains 605 electron‐ionization mass spectrometry(EI‐MS), 137 fast atom bombardment MS and 9276 electrospray ionization (ESI)‐MSn data of 2337 authentic compounds of metabolites, 11 545 EI‐MS and 834 other‐MS data of 10 286 volatile natural and synthetic compounds, and 3045 ESI‐MS2 data of 679 synthetic drugs contributed by 16 research groups (January 2010). ESI‐MS2 data were analyzed under nonstandardized, independent experimental conditions. MassBank is a distributed database. Each research group provides data from its own MassBank data servers distributed on the Internet. MassBank users can access either all of the MassBank data or a subset of the data by specifying one or more experimental conditions. In a spectral search to retrieve mass spectra similar to a query mass spectrum, the similarity score is calculated by a weighted cosine correlation in which weighting exponents on peak intensity and the mass‐to‐charge ratio are optimized to the ESI‐MS2 data. MassBank also provides a merged spectrum for each compound prepared by merging the analyzed ESI‐MS2 data on an identical compound under different collision‐induced dissociation conditions. Data merging has significantly improved the precision of the identification of a chemical compound by 21–23% at a similarity score of 0.6. Semi-insulating InGaAs/GaAs multiple quantum wells are fabricated by metal-organic vapor-phase epitaxy and proton implantation. Two-wave mixing gain and four-wave mixing diffraction efficiency are measured at wavelengths of 0.91-0.94microm in the Franz-Keldysh geometry. We observe a large photorefractive effect caused by the excitonic electro-optic effect. The maximum diffraction efficiency reaches ~1.5x10(-4) .  相似文献

Electron tunneling routes for the electron transfer from the bacteriopheophytin anion to the primary quinone in the bacterial photosynthetic reaction center of Rhodobactor sphaeroides are investigated by a combined method of molecular dynamics simulations for the protein conformation fluctuation and quantum chemical calculations for the electronic states of the donor, acceptor, and protein medium. The analysis of the tunneling route is made by mapping interatomic electron tunneling currents for each protein conformation. We found that there are two dominant routes mainly passing through Trp(M252) (Trp route) or mainly passing through Met(M218) (Met route). Actual electron tunneling pathways alternate between the two routes, depending on the protein conformation which varies with time. When either the Trp route or the Met route dominates, the electron tunneling matrix element /T(DA)/ becomes large. When both the Trp route and the Met route dominate, /T(DA)/ becomes very small due to the destructive interference of the electron tunneling currents between the two routes. We found that a linear relationship exists between the value of /T(DA)/ and the inverse of the degree of destructive interference Q for a wide range of values (ca. 3-10(3) for Q). A similar relationship was also found previously for electron transfer in ruthenium-modified azurins, suggesting that this relationship holds true in general. From these results, we are led to the conclusion that /T(DA)/ cannot exceed a maximum value at Q = 1, even if much variation of /T(DA)/ happens due to the fluctuation of protein conformation. We also conclude that the property of the electron transfer alternates between constructive and destructive interference, due to the fluctuation of protein conformation. It is impossible to keep a system in either constructive or destructive interference because thermal fluctuation of protein conformation takes place.  相似文献

Abstract— The specific heterodikaryon complementation method enabled us to assign three patients with mild xeroderma pigmentosum (XP) symptoms (XP25KO, XP27KO, XP28KO) to complementation group F. UV-induced unscheduled DNA synthesis (UDS) remained unnormalized in the heterodikaryons between either of the above three XP strains and the reference group F XP3YO. All these particular XP strains as well as XP3YO exhibited an equally low level of10–15% UDS by a 3 h [3H]-thymidine labeling following 10 J/m2 254 nm UV, while they attained 60% UDS of normal at an extended time of 25 h. The present group F strains were 3 and 1.5 times as sensitive to the lethal effect of UV as normal and XP group E cells, respectively, based on the mean lethal dose ( Do ) comparison. Normal cells had the biphasic time-UDS kinetics of early rapid and late slow repair. Characteristically, however, all of the present group F strains were defective in only early rapid repair, but normally proficient in slow repair.  相似文献
