The relations between the Hellmann-Feynman forces in laboratory fixed (L-) and relative (R-) coordinate systems are clarified. In the usualL-coordinate system, the force is interpreted as force on nucleus, while in theR-coordinate system, it means force on whole particles consisting of the electrons and nuclei of each interacting subsystem. From a perturbation theoretical viewpoint, the concept of the force on whole particles correctly corresponds to the perturbation energy and is superior to the force on the nucleus. 相似文献

Uemichi Akane, and Makihito Nishioka. “Numerical study on ultra-lean rotating counterflow twin premixed flame of hydrogen–air.” Proceedings of the Combustion Institute 34.1 (2013): 1135–1142]. we found that methane– and hydrogen–air rotating counterflow twin flames (RCTF) can achieve ultralean combustion when backward flow of burned gas occurs due to the centrifugal force created by rotation. In this study, we investigated the mechanisms of ultralean combustion in these flames by the detailed numerical analyses of the convective and diffusive transport of the main species. We found that, under ultralean conditions, the diffusive transport of fuel exceeds its backward convective transport in the flame zone, which is located on the burned-gas side of the stagnation point. In contrast, the relative magnitudes of diffusive and convective transport for oxygen are reversed compared to those for the fuel. The resulting flows for fuel and oxygen lead to what we call a ‘net flux imbalance’. This net flux imbalance increases the flame temperature and concentrations of active radicals. For hydrogen–air RCTF, a very large diffusivity of hydrogen enhances the net flux imbalance, significantly increasing the flame temperature. This behaviour is intrinsic to a very lean premixed flame in which the reaction zone is located in the backflow of its own burned gas. 相似文献

We study the dielectric degradation phenomena of ultrathin SiO2 films using conducting-AFM spectroscopy in a vacuum (1᎒-5 Pa). In successive current-voltage characteristics, a change of the carrier transport (from Fowler-Nordheim tunneling to direct tunneling) and current instability (which is due to a change in conductance of leakage path by isolated traps) are observed before 'breakdown'. The fragmentation of gallstones and kidney stones using pulsed visible laser radiation has recently been demonstrated; however, the fragmentation mechanism is not well understood. The temporal and spectral characteristics of the bright flash of light accompanying fragmentation of gallstones were studied using 0.8 and 360-s-long, 690-nm-wavelength, dye-laser pulses. Time-resolved visible emission spectra show a broad continuum upon which line spectra are superimposed. The continuum emission is due to free-free and free-bound electron transitions indicative of a plasma and the line spectra are due to neutral and ionized calcium. Initiation of this plasma is fluence rather than intensity dependent. A model is proposed in which laser energy is coupled to the plasma, which then impulsively expands, generating intense acoustic transients which fracture the stone. 相似文献

A diode-pumped chirped-pulse regenerative amplifier with a cooled Yb:YLF crystal has been developed. The output pulse energy is 30 mJ at 20-Hz repetition rate. A high effective extraction efficiency of 68% is obtained, which is attributed to reduced saturation fluence at low temperature and to a high effective pulse energy fluence during regenerative amplification. Various anion exchange membranes containing the 4,4′-bipyridine moiety as anion exchange groups were prepared from membranous copolymers of chloromethylstyrene and divinylbenzene and membranes of chloromethylated polysulfone and 4,4′-bipyridine. After evaluating the electrochemical properties of the obtained anion exchange membranes, the effect of membrane species on the generation of a photovoltage was examined by irradiation using a xenon lamp. The membranes swelled with ethylene glycol were clamped between two ITO electrodes and sealed by adhesive. The generated photovoltage and photocurrent from about a 120 μm thick membrane were about 80 mV and 400 nA, respectively, in a 200K Ω load resistance, though dependent of membrane species. The voltage decreased with increasing crosslinking by the divinylbenzene in the copolymer membranes. The effect of counter ion species on the voltage was examined and a chloride ion form of membrane showed the highest photovoltage. The membranes with different thicknesses, which were prepared from polysulfone derivatives, were evaluated and the voltage decreased with decreasing thickness. Even a porous membrane from polysulfone derivatives showed a photovoltage though a porous membrane in which a methyl viologen ethylene glycol solution had been impregnated did not have a stable voltage. Also, the anion exchange membrane containing the benzyl trimethylammonium moiety, which is the conventional anion exchange groups, did not show a high and stable photovoltage upon photoirradiation. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 相似文献

An anion exchange membrane with a viologen moiety was prepared by the reaction of a film of chloromethylated polysulfone and 4,4′-bipyridine. The anion exchange membrane showed a high electrical resistance and a high transport number of anions due to the development of high crosslinking by the diamine. After the membrane had been swollen with ethylene glycol, photo-voltage and photo-current (82 mV, 410 nA at 200 kΩ load, 160 μm thick membrane) were generated from the membrane upon photo-irradiation. 相似文献
