Using theSU (2) Higgs system with dynamical scalar matter fields as a model for analyzing screening properties of the confining potential in gauge theories, we examine the Wilson loopW (T, R) and the gauge invariant 2-point functionG(T, R) by Monte Carlo simulations on a 164 lattice. For small values of the hopping parameterk these quantities show non-asymptotic area law behavior which changes to asymptotic perimeter law behavior ask increases. Close to the Higgs phase transition we find an indication that both these asymptotic and nonasymptotic terms are present simultaneously within the lattice at different distancesR andT and that the breaking of the confining flux tube by matter pair production occurs within the lattice. Introducing an appropriate ansatz forW(T, R) andG(T, R), respectively, we determine in this complex situation the string tension, the screening energy of the external sources, and the order parameter introduced by Fredenhagen and Marcu.  相似文献

The nature of QCD phase transition is studied with massless up and down quarks and a light strange quark, using the Wilson formalism for quarks on a lattice with the temporal direction extensionN t=4. We find that the phase transition is of first order for the physical strange quark mass.  相似文献

We study a gauge-independent formulation for the effective mass of quark based on the momentum subtraction renormalization condition. To this end a gauge-independent quark propagator is introduced, and with the aid of the resulting mass anomalous dimension, we can discuss the threshold effects in a gauge-independent manner. As an example we find an earlier computation of the top quark mass is modified. We find 2Mt=51±1 GeV.  相似文献

A preliminary interlaboratory study was conducted to evaluate the validity of the modified AOAC method for determination of total dietary fiber by Tada and Innami, in which the 3-step enzymatic digestion process in AOAC Method 991.43 is modified to a 2-step process without pH adjustment. Total dietary fiber contents in 8 representative foodstuffs were measured using both the original AOAC Method 991.43 and the modified method in 6 research facilities in Japan. Repeatability relative standard deviations, reproducibility relative standard deviations, and Horwitz ratio values from the modified method were equivalent to those from AOAC Method 991.43, except in the rice sample. However, this exceptional case shown in the modified method was entirely dissolved by the addition of alpha-amylase stabilizing agents. The modified method, which shortens the process of enzymatic digestion from 3 to 2 steps and in which only reaction temperature is adjusted under the same pH, was found not only to give accurate values comparable to the original method, but also to substantially reduce the labor required by the laboratory staff in the process of routine analysis. This study revealed that the validity of the modified method was further ensured by adding alpha-amylase stabilizing agents to the reaction system.  相似文献

介绍了两台地基多轴DOAS仪器测量的NO2斜柱浓度的对比研究。利用日本海洋研究开发机构的一套多轴DOAS设备在2009年11月—12月31日期间16d的观测数据,与安光所自主研发的一套多轴DOAS设备测量的NO2差分斜柱浓度进行了对比。通过对比发现,采用自动调整积分时间的方法,与固定积分时间的设置相比仪器具有更高的信噪比;两套仪器的反演结果在小角度下具有比较好的一致性,相关系数高达0.995,但随着角度的增大相关性逐渐变差。在9点至16点时段内相对偏差较小,其中20°方向的结果最为接近,最小偏差仅有12%,但在9点前和16点后二者偏差增大。日方仪器在可见波段的反演结果明显好于紫外波段,反演中的剩余噪声减小了60%以上,同时在可见波段的差分斜柱浓度的计算结果与我们的多轴DOAS在紫外波段的计算结果在全天都具有非常好的一致性。  相似文献
