Upon complexation with PdII ions, precisely designed strandlike ligands with two tris(3,5‐pyridine) units at both terminals were assembled, with the aid of a linear template molecule, into a discrete tubular complex with a length of 3.5 nm. The high stability and the well‐defined structure of the coordination nanotube were revealed by NMR spectroscopy, cold‐spray ionization MS, and single‐crystal X‐ray analysis. Guest lengths were discriminated by the tube: When the association of strandlike guest molecules, in which two biphenylene units are linked with an (OCH2CH2)n linker, were compared, the tube selectively recognized an appropriate guest whose length was comparable to that of the tube. Tetrathiafulvalene (TTF)‐terminated linear guests were directly oxidized to TTF2+ in the tube, but reduced stepwise via TTF+? outside the tube.  相似文献

Electron energy loss spectra of ultrathin pentacene field effect transistors were measured by applying gate bias voltages. Tailing and shouldering of the primary peak on the energy loss side was observed for 1.5 nm thick films when a negative gate bias was applied. The energy loss spectra obtained from the deconvolution of the primary electron profile showed peaks, and the peak energies increased as a function of the gate bias voltage. This is consistent with the behavior of two-dimensional plasmons of field-induced carriers. The thickness dependence is explained by the thickness of the accumulation layer and the probing depth of the spectroscopy.  相似文献

This paper is concerned with adaptive global stabilization of an undamped non‐linear string in the case where any velocity feedback is not available. The linearized system may have an infinite number of poles and zeros on the imaginary axis. In the case where any velocity feedback is not available, a parallel compensator is effective. The adaptive stabilizer is constructed for the augmented system which consists of the controlled system and a parallel compensator. An in situ dielectric measurement for atactic poly(methyl methacrylate) (at‐PMMA) was performed under high‐pressure CO2 under various pressures and temperatures. The at‐PMMA has the acetate side group with a large dipole moment. In the glassy state, a local relaxation process (β‐process) can be observed using dielectric measurement. In the rubbery state, the micro‐Brownian motion of main chain (α‐process) occurs, and the β‐process changes into αβ‐process coordinated with the α‐process. The dielectric loss (ε″) spectrum of at‐PMMA in the glassy state is asymmetric because of the density fluctuation for the amorphous structure. The loss peak frequency shifted to higher frequencies, and the relaxation strength increased with increasing CO2 pressure. In the glassy state, the shape of ε″ spectrum became more symmetric with increasing CO2 pressure. These show that the molecular mobility enhanced by the plasticization effect of CO2 allows the dipolar side groups in the high‐density region to contribute to the relaxation process. Si(1 1 0) surfaces covered with small amounts of In deposit and then annealed at high temperature were investigated by RHEED, and two kinds of superstructures with A = 3a and B = −a + 4b, and A = 3a − 2b and B = −2a + 4b as primitive translational vectors are reported to form on the surfaces.  相似文献

Heat capacities of the electron acceptor 7,7,8,8-tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) and its radical-ion salt NH4-TCNQ have been measured at temperatures in the 12-350 K range by adiabatic calorimetry. A λ-type heat capacity anomaly arising from a spin-Peierls (SP) transition was found at 301.3 K in NH4-TCNQ. The enthalpy and entropy of transition are ΔtrsH=(667±7) J mol−1 and ΔtrsS=(2.19±0.02) J K−1 mol−1, respectively. The SP transition is characterized by a cooperative coupling between the spin and the phonon systems. By assuming a uniform one-dimensional antiferromagnetic (AF) Heisenberg chains consisting of quantum spin (S=1/2) in the high-temperature phase and an alternating AF nonuniform chains in the low-temperature phase, we estimated the magnetic contribution to the entropy as ΔtrsSmag=0.61 J K−1 mol−1 and the lattice contribution as ΔtrsSlat=1.58 J K−1 mol−1. Although the total magnetic entropy expected for the present compound is R ln 2 (=5.76 J K−1 mol−1), a majority of the magnetic entropy (∼4.6 J K−1 mol−1) persists in the high-temperature phase as a short-range-order effect. The present thermodynamic investigation quantitatively revealed the roles played by the spin and the phonon at the SP transition. Standard thermodynamic functions of both compounds have also been determined.  相似文献

Ultraviolet photoemission spectroscopic measurements of bis (benzo)pentathienoacene were carried out in gas and solid phase. For the measurements of solid phase, vacuum deposited films in both amorphous and crystalline phase were prepared on different substrates of HOPG and polycrystalline Au, respectively. The adiabatic ionization energies were determined to be 6.84, 5.32, and 5.08 eV, for gas, amorphous, and crystalline phases, respectively. The spectral lineshapes were interpreted with the aid of the density functional calculations for both isolated molecule and single-crystal structure. The calculated electronic structures were further analyzed in terms of the energy band dispersion and the transport properties of charge carriers.  相似文献

High-resolution Rutherford backscattering spectrometry (HRBS) in combination with grazing angle argon sputtering was carried out to characterize the interface of aluminum-nickel (Al-Ni) alloy and amorphous-silicon films in a thin film transistor (TFT) for liquid crystal display (LCD). After thinning the top Al-Ni layer by a 1-keV Ar sputtering, the sensitivity of the interface oxygen was improved to be twice higher than that before sputtering. The results revealed that the oxygen at the interface relates to the contact characteristics.  相似文献

The title compound, poly­[[[di­aqua(μ‐4,4′‐bipyridyl)­di­nickel(II)]‐bis(μ‐4,4′‐bipyridyl)‐di‐μ‐hexa­oxo­di­vana­date(2?)] 2.5‐hydrate], [Ni2­(V2O6)2­(C10H8N2)3­(H2O)2]·­2.5H2O, has been prepared hydro­thermally and characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectroscopy and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The structure consists of [V2O6], [Ni­(4,4′‐bipy)4O2] and [Ni­(H2O)2­(4,4′‐bipy)2O2] polyhedra, and water of crystallization. The Ni atoms and one bipyridyl group lie on centres of symmetry.  相似文献
