Treatment of indole alkaloids with hypervalent iodine in the presence of ethylene glycol provides 2,3-ethylene glycol bridged adducts that could be converted into the original indoles under mild reductive conditions. This procedure, which involves masking of the reactivity of the indole nucleus at the beta-position, was utilized for the modification of the benzene ring of the indoline derivative and was applied to the preparation of potent opioid receptor agonists with the Corynanthe skeleton. Abstract

The dislocations moving on slip planes in a KCl single crystal under an applied load were observed successfully by a 90° angle light scattering method using a high-power Ar-ion laser (2W for a wavelength of 514 nm). The photographs of stationary dislocations were taken by an scanning type optical microscope. The image of such dislocations was very sharp and uniform compared with that of grown-in dislocations. The dynamic behavior of moving dislocations was observed by an image intensifier to intensify the scattered light from dislocations. The motion of dislocations was jerkey under a constant load in almost all cases.  相似文献

In recent years, nanobubble technologies have drawn great attention due to their wide applications in many fields of science and technology. From previous studies, a kind of honeycomb structure for high efficiency nanobubble generation has been proposed. In this paper, the numerical simulations of bubbly flow in the honeycomb structure were performed by using a computational fluid dynamics–population balance model (CFD-PBM) coupled model. The numerical model was based on the Eulerian multiphase model and the population balance model (PBM) was used to calculate the bubble size distribution. The bubble size distributions in the honeycomb structure under different work conditions were predicted. Two different drag force models (Schiller-Naumann model and Tomiyama model) and two different aggregation models (Luo model and turbulent aggregation model) were investigated. Both two drag models gave similar prediction of bubble number density distribution at the outlet. The results obtained from Luo model had better reflection of the trend of number density distribution. The turbulence dissipation rate ε can be used to evaluate the nanobubble generating ability. The water tank was not included in the CFD model in this work. The bubbles in the water tank should be studied in the future.  相似文献

Tris(8-quinolinolato)aluminum(III) (Alq3) shows electronic absorption bands at 378, 360 (in a 1:1 mixed solvent of methanol and ethanol (ME) at 77 K), 334, 316, 300, 263, 255.8, and 233 nm in ethanol at room temperature. According to the polarized fluorescence excitation spectrum together with MO calculations, for instance, the 360 nm band is assigned to an LL CT transition (an intramolecular charge transfer transition between two ligands), and the 378 nm band to an LM/ML CT one (an intramolecular charge transfer transition between ligand and metal). Alq3 shows a broad fluorescence band peaking at around 478 nm in the ME matrix at 77 K. The emission spectrum measured with a phosphoroscope has two emission bands at 567 and 478 nm. The 567 nm band accompanies vibronic bands at 578 and 605 nm, being safely assigned to a phosphorescence of Alq3. The lifetimes of the 478 and 567 nm bands are both 5.4 ms. The lifetime of the 478 nm band together with the band position and its band shape indicate that this band can be assigned to a delayed fluorescence.  相似文献

The use of multi-mode absorption spectroscopy (MUMAS) to detect multiple transitions in the A-band b1Σg +-X3Σg - of molecular oxygen is reported. The modelling of MUMAS signatures and the procedure for fitting such model signatures to experimental data obtained using a multi-mode diode laser is described. The technique is shown to allow accurate and precise measurement of concentration, temperature over the range 300 to 500 K and of pressure over the range 0.2 to 1 bar. To electrochemically sense lymphoma cells (U937), we fabricated a multifunctional peptide probe that consists of cell-penetrating/apoptosis-inducing/electron-transfer peptides. Electron-transfer peptides derive from cysteine residue combined with the C-terminals of four tyrosine residues (Y4). A peptide whereby Y4C is bound to the C-terminals of protegrin 1 (RGGRLCYCRRRFCVCVGR-NH2) is known to be an apoptosis-inducing agent against U937 cells, and is referred to as a peptide-1 probe. An oxidation response of the peptide-1 probe has been observed due to a phenolic hydroxyl group, and this response is decreased by the uptake of the peptide probe into the cells. To improve the cell membrane permeability against U937 cells, the RGGR at the N-terminals of the peptide-1 probe was replaced by RRRR (peptide-2 probe). In contrast, RNRCKGTDVQAWY4C (peptide-3 probe), which recognizes ovalbumin, was constructed as a control. Compared with the other probes, the change in the peak current of the peptide-2 probe was the greatest at low concentrations and occurred in a short amount of time. Therefore, the cell membrane permeability of the peptide-2 probe was increased based on the arginine residues and the apoptosis-inducing peptides. The peak current was linear and ranged from 100 to 1000 cells/ml. The relative standard deviation of 600 cells/ml was 5.0% (n = 5). Furthermore, the membrane permeability of the peptide probes was confirmed using fluorescent dye.  相似文献

The photophysical properties and electrogenerated chemiluminescence (ECL) of three donor–acceptor molecules composed of dicyanobenzene and methyl‐, tert‐butyl‐, and phenyl‐substituted carbazolyl groups, 1,2,3,5‐tetrakis(3,6‐disubstitutedcarbazol‐9‐yl)‐4,6‐dicyanobenzene (4CzIPN‐Me, 4CzIPN‐tBu, and 4CzIPN‐Ph, respectively) are described. These molecules show delayed fluorescence as a result of thermal spin upconversion from the lowest triplet state to the lowest singlet state at room temperature. The three molecules showed yellow to yellowish–red ECL. Remarkably, the ECL efficiencies of 4CzIPN‐tBu in dichloromethane reached almost 40 %. Moreover, stable ECL was emitted from 4CzIPN‐tBu and 4CzIPN‐Ph. In case of 4CzIPN‐Me, the ECL intensity decreased during voltage cycles because of polymerization. Quantum chemical calculations revealed that polymerization was inhibited by the steric hindrance of the bulky tert‐butyl and phenyl groups on the carbazolyl moieties and lowered the spin density on the carbazolyl groups through electron conjugation for 4CzIPN‐Ph.  相似文献

For selective synthesis of linear polyester having a functional group at one end, polycondensation between 1,4‐butanediol ( 1a ) and sebacoyl chloride ( 2a ) and between 1,12‐dodecanediol ( 1b ) and isophthaloyl chloride ( 2b ) was conducted in the presence of oxime resin or oxime silica gel, followed by cleavage of the formed polyester from the solid‐phase support with aniline. Matrix‐assisted laser desorption ionization time‐of‐flight mass spectra and 1H NMR spectra of the cleaved polyester showed that the products contained not only polyester with anilide at one end ( poly 1 ), but also polyester with anilides at both ends ( poly 2 ). The product ratio of poly 1 to poly 2 ( poly 1 / poly 2 ) was dependent on monomers, monomer concentration, feed ratio of monomer to oxime moiety in the support, oxime content in the support, reaction solvent, and the nature of the support. Polyester with a high poly 1 / poly 2 ratio of 81/21 and moderate molecular weight (Mn = 1430 g/mol) was obtained by polycondensation of 1b and 2b in the presence of oxime silica gel in dichloromethane. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The reductive coupling of 1,3-dimethyhydantoin with benzophenones by TiCl4-Zn in THF gave 4-diarylmethyl-1H-imidazol-2(3H)-ones as four-electron reduced one-to-one coupled products and their dimers as two-to-two coupled products predominantly by controlling the reaction conditions. The reductive coupling of 5-alkyl-1,3-dimethyhydantoins with benzophenones produced 5-alkyl-4-diarylmethyl-1H-imidazol-2(3H)-ones as the sole products irrespective to the reaction conditions. On the other hand, the reductive coupling of 1,3-dimethyhydantoin with cyclic benzophenones selectively 4-arylhydroxymethyl-1H-imidazol-2(3H)-ones as two-electron reduced one-to-one coupled products and they were further reduced to 4-diarylmethyl-1H-imidazol-2(3H)-ones.  相似文献
