Using the direct CI method perturbation corrections to the Koopmans ionization energies have been obtained up to order 10 for the molecules CN? and H2O. The results are compared with those from the fully converged CI and Bk-type calculations. The convergence of the perturbation series is found to be quite slow although substantial improvement is possible using a variation-perturbation method.  相似文献

[reaction: see text] The solid-phase Horner-Emmons reaction was successfully applied for the convenient syntheses of olefin-containing protease inhibitors. The isomerization during the solid-phase Horner-Emmons reaction can be minimized simply by the use of an appropriate amount of the base. The synthesized olefin peptides, which have an olefin gamma-amino acid at the scissile site, were found to act as effective inhibitors for the HTLV-1 protease for the first time.  相似文献

Stark absorption spectroscopy was applied to 6-hydroxyquinoline (6-HQ) doped in polymer films of poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) and poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) at temperatures of 50-300 K. The electroabsorption (E-A) spectrum of 6-HQ markedly depends on temperature in a PMMA film. The polarization dependence as well as the temperature dependence of the E-A spectra reveals that 6-HQ is oriented along the direction of the applied electric field at room temperature in a PMMA film. As the temperature becomes lower, the field-induced orientation of 6-HQ is restricted, and only the Stark shift induced by a change in electric dipole moment and in molecular polarizability is observed. On the other hand, E-A spectra of 6-HQ doped in a PVA film are essentially independent of temperature, suggesting that 6-HQ is not oriented along the electric field even at room temperature in PVA. These results show that the molecular motion of 6-HQ in a polymer film is very sensitive to the microenvironment of the surrounding matrix.  相似文献

Fluorescence spectra and electrofluorescence spectra (plots of the electric field-induced change in fluorescence intensity as a function of wavelength) have been measured at different temperatures for pyrene butyric acid (PBA) in a PMMA film at different concentrations. At a low concentration of 0.5 mol % where fluorescence emitted from the locally excited state of PBA (LE fluorescence) is dominant, LE fluorescence spectra show only the Stark shift in the presence of an electric field (F), which results from the difference in molecular polarizability between the ground and emitting states. At a high concentration of 10 mol % where the so-called sandwich-type excimer fluorescence (EX(1)) is dominant, both EX(1) and LE fluorescence are quenched by F. Another fluorescence assigned to a partially overlapped excimer (EX(2)) also exists at room temperature, and this emission is enhanced by F. As the temperature decreases, three fluorescence emissions whose electric field effects are different from each other become clear besides EX(1) and LE fluorescence, indicating that at least five fluorescence components exist at high concentrations at low temperatures. At a medium concentration of 5 mol % where EX(1) is comparable in intensity to the LE fluorescence, the intensity of EX(1) is not affected by F at any temperature, but LE fluorescence and EX(2) are markedly influenced by F at room temperature, and four fluorescence emissions are confirmed at low temperatures.  相似文献

The effect of heat treatment of trans-1,4-polybutadiene single crystals prepared from dilute benzene solution was studied by dilatometry, X-ray diffraction, and dynamic viscoelastic measurement. The crystal transformation temperature of the single crystal is 55.5[ddot]C, 20[ddot]C lower than that of the bulk crystallized sample. After heat treatment of the single crystal above 55.5[ddot]C, their crystal transformation temperature increases to 69.5[ddot]C. At the same time, thickening of the lamellae suddenly occurs and the viscoelastic primary absorption observed in the single crystal mat disappears. It is suggested that this means that the amorphous region attached to the single crystal rapidly crystallized above this temperature, in particular the loose loops attached to the end surface of the crystal are dragged into the crystalline phase to form tight loops as a result of the sliding diffusion of molecules along their axes. This is accompanied by the sudden thickening of the lamellae at the crystal transformation temperature. These observations confirmed more thoroughly our previous prediction that the single crystal of trans-1, 4-polybutadiene, as formed, contains loose loops. The thickening phenomena and the change in the crystal transformation temperature of the trans-1,4-polybutadiene single crystal by heat treatment are also discussed from the thermodynamic viewpoint.  相似文献

Annealing of radiation induced defects in p-type germanium was studied by measuring Hall coefficient and conductivity. The dopant was gallium or indium. It was concluded that the annealing stage between 80° and 140°K is caused by migration of the vacancy to the sink of an impurity atom. In this stage the vacancy migrates to a substitutional impurity atom and makes an association. The activation energy of the stage was found tO be 0.1 ev ad it is regarded to be that of the vacancy migration. The model for the annealing stage which occurs in the range 220 to 270°K is proposed as follows: An interstitial impurity atom migrates to a substitutional impurity atom and makes an association. From the activation energy of the stage, the migration energy of the interstitial impurity atom was concluded to be about 0.4 eV for gallium and 0.7 eV for indium atoms.  相似文献

The S1 electronic state of 7,7,8,8-Tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ) has been investigated by laser induced fluorescence (LIF), dispersed fluorescence (DF) spectroscopy, and lifetime measurements under jet-cooled conditions in the gas-phase. The LIF spectrum showed a weak origin band at 412.13 nm (24262 cm−1) with prominent progression and combination bands involving vibrations of 327, 1098, and 2430 cm−1. In addition, very strong bands appeared at ∼363.6 nm (3300 cm−1 above the origin). Both the LIF and DF spectra indicate considerable geometric change in the S1 state. The fluorescence lifetime of S1 at zero-point level was obtained to be 220 ns. This lifetime is 40 times longer than the radiative lifetime estimated from the S1−S0 oscillator strength. Furthermore, the lifetimes of the vibronic bands exhibited drastic energy dependence, indicating a strong mixing with the triplet (T1) or intramolecular charge-transfer (CT) state. This study is thought to disclose intrinsic nature of TCNQ, which has been well known as a component of organic semiconductors and a versatile p-type dopant.  相似文献
