By applying a microwave magnetic field parallel to an external magnetic field, ESR of naphthalene, quinoxaline, quinoline and isoquinoline in their phosphorescent triplet states has been studied at 77 K. The proton hyperfine structures in the Δm = ± 2 transitions were distinctly resolved, especially when the stretched film was used as a host, compared with observations in ethanol glasses. The assignment of these ESR signals was carried out with the aid of the stretched-film method.  相似文献

Summary Nitrate was determined in natural water samples by flow-injection spectrophotometry. It was reduced to nitrite with copperized cadmium and the nitrite thus produced reacted with p-aminoacetophenone and m-phenylenediamine. The limit of detection was about 1.5 g l–1 for sample injections of 650 l. The sampling rate was about 40 samples h–1 and the relative standard deviation was above 1% for 0.1–0.3 mg l–1 nitratenitrogen. Nitrite present in the sample was determined separately and subtracted.

Zusammenfassung Nitrat wird bei dieser Methode mit Hilfe einer Cu/Cd-Reduktionssäule zu Nitrit reduziert, das mit p-Aminoacetophenon und m-Phenylendiamin zur Reaktion gebracht wird. Die gebildete Verbindung wird spektral-photometrisch gemessen. Die Nachweisgrenze beträgt etwa 1,5 g/l bei injizierten Probevolumina von 650 l. Der Probendurchsatz beträgt 40/h. Die relative Standardabweichung liegt über 1% bei 0,1–0,3 mg/l Nitrat-Stickstoff. Vorhandenes Nitrit wird gesondert bestimmt und abgezogen.

Summary Sulphate was determined in natural water samples by flow-injection analysis using dimethylsulphonazo-III as reagent. The interference by Ca was eliminated by a cation-exchanger column inserted directly after the sample injection valve. In order to ensure high sensitivity and reproducibility it was necessary to saturate the carrier solution with barium sulphate and to fill the reaction coil with ethanol-water (11) when not in use. Standard deviations were 0.94–1.2% for 6–10mg/l sulphate. The limit of detection was about 0.2mg/l. The calibration graph was linear up to 14mg/l Mg2+, NH 4 + , Na+, K+, Cl, NO 3 , PO 4 3– , HCO 3 and SiO 3 2– did not interfere in the normally occurring concentrations.

Zusammenfassung Als Reagens dient Dimethylsulfonazo-III. Die Störung durch Calcium bei dieser Bestimmung wird durch eine Kationenaustauschersäule eliminiert, die direkt nach dem Probeinjektions-Ventil angeordnet ist. Zur Erhöhung der Empfindlichkeit und Reproduzierbarkeit ist es notwendig, die Trägerlösung mit Bariumsulfat zu sättigen sowie bei Nichtbenutzung des Systems den Reaktionsteil mit Ethanol-Wasser (11) zu füllen. Mit dem so modifizierten Verfahren ergaben sich Standardabweichungen von 0,94–1,2% für 6–10 mg/l Sulfat, die Nachweisgrenze liegt bei 0,2 mg/l. Die Eichkurve ist bis 14 mg/l linear. Mg2+, NH 4 + , Na+, K+, Cl, NO 3 , PO 4 3– , HCO 3 und SiO 3 2– stören in den normalerweise vorkommenden Konzentrationen nicht.

Unit-cell volumes of four alkali halides, LiF, NaF, KF and CSCl, were measured to 90 kbar and 800°C using X-ray powder diffraction techniques. NaCl was used as an internal pressure standard. Experimental results were analyzed based on Decker's equation of state for NaCl and thermal expansívities of these four materials were determined as a function of pressure. Volume dependence of thermal expansivity is different for the NaCl and CsCl structures. Comparisons of the present results with theoretical calculations by Birch and Anderson are presented.  相似文献

The addition of 1,10-phenanthroline improves both the extraction and the spectrophotometric sensitivity of the determination of cadmium with diphenylcarbazone. Slope analysis suggests the formation of a 1:2:2 extracted species. The molar absorptivity is 9.4 × 104 l cm-1 mol-1 at 536 nm and extraction is maximal at pH 8.2–9.8. Extraction is rapid and absorbances remain constant at room temperature for 48 h. Various divalent metal ions interfere.  相似文献

Heat capacities of liquid, stable crystal, and liquid-quenched glass of a room-temperature ionic liquid (RTIL), 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluromethylsulfonyl)imide were measured between 5 and 310 K by adiabatic calorimetry. Heat capacity of the liquid at 298.15 K was determined for an IUPAC project as (631.6 +/- 0.5) J K(-1) mol(-1). Fusion was observed at T(fus) = 272.10 K for the stable crystalline phase, with enthalpy and entropy of fusion of 28.34 kJ mol(-1) and 104.2 J K(-1) mol(-1), respectively. The purity of the sample was estimated as 99.83 mol % by the fractional melting method. The liquid could be supercooled easily and the glass transition was observed around T(g) approximately 183 K, which was in agreement with the empirical relation, T(g) approximately ((2)/(3)) T(fus). The heat capacity of the liquid-quenched glass was larger than that of the crystal as a whole. In the lowest temperature region, however, the difference between the two showed a maximum around 6 K and a minimum around 15 K, at which the heat capacity of the glass was a little smaller than that of crystal.  相似文献
