The 3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamates of cellulose and amylose bearing a small amount of 3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl residues were synthesized by a simple process and efficiently immobilized onto a silica gel support by intermolecular polycondensation of the triethoxysilyl groups. The obtained chiral packing materials (CPMs) were evaluated by high-performance liquid chromatography. The polysaccharide derivatives containing about 1-2% of the 3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl residue were efficiently immobilized with a high chiral recognition. The immobilized CPMs could be used with the eluents containing chloroform and tetrahydrofuran, which cannot be used with the conventional coated-type CPMs. By using these eluents, the chiral recognitions for many racemates could be improved.  相似文献

An alkylamide-substituted (−NHCOC10H21) hydrogen-bonded dibenzo[18]crown-6 derivative (1) was prepared to stabilise the ionic channel structure in a discotic hexagonal columnar (Colh) liquid crystal. The introduction of simple M+X salts such as Na+PF6 and K+I into the ionic channel of 1 enhanced the ionic conductivity of the Colh phase of the M+·(1)·X salts, with the highest ionic conductivity reaching ∼10−6 S cm−1 for K+·(1)·I and Na+·(1)·PF6 at 460 K, which was approximately 5 orders of magnitude higher than that of 1. The introduction of non-ferroelectric 1 into the ferroelectric N,N′,N′′-tri(tetradecyl)-1,3,5-benzenetricarboxamide (3BC) elicited a ferroelectric response from the mixed Colh phase of (3BC)x(1)1−x with x = 0.9 and 0.8. The further doping of M+X into the ferroelectric Colh phase of (3BC)0.9(1)0.1 enhanced the ferroelectric polarisation assisted by ion displacement in the half-filled ionic channel for the vacant dibenzo[18]crown-6 of (3BC)0.9[(M+)0.5·(1)·(X)0.5]0.1.

Single crystals of Rh(Si2O)(PO4)3 and In4(Si2O) · (PO4)6 were prepared by chemical transport reactions in silica tubes and their structures were determined. Crystal data of Rh(Si2O)(PO4)3: trigonal, space group P 3 c1, a = 8.088(3) Å, c = 8.740(2) Å, Z = 2, R(F2) = 0.0379, Rw(F2) = 0.0518 for 601 unique reflections. In4(Si2O)(PO4)6: hexagonal, space group P63/m, a = 8.5149(10) Å, c = 7.7481(12) Å, Z = 1, R(F2) = 0.0436, Rw(F2) = 0.0522 for 509 unique reflections. Both of the compounds have hexagonal close packed array of phosphate groups with metal atoms and SiOSi units in the octahedral interstices, where the SiOSi units show occupational disorder. The structure of the indium compound is considered to be a disordered structure of the reported Mo4Si2P6O13 structure, and contains confacial bioctahedral units.  相似文献

Telechelic polystyrenes with five benzyl chloride moieties at the polymer end (PSt-E) were prepared by coupling reaction of polystyryllithium with hexakis(4-chloromethyl-phenoxy)cyclotriphosphazene ( 4 ). The coupling reaction occurs almost quantitatively and unfavorable side reactions were not operative. When a mole ratio [ 4 ]/[sec-BuLi] = 9.3 was used, polystyrenes with cyclophosphazene carrying five benzyl chloride moieties at the polymer end (PSt-E) were obtained in more than 90% yield, which have narrow and predictable molecular weights (M w/M n = 1.05). A star shaped polystyrene with phosphazene core could also be prepared by using excess polystyryl anions.  相似文献

We developed a method for the design of multilevel anisotropic diffraction gratings based on a genetic algorithm. The method is used to design the multilevel anisotropic diffraction gratings based on input data that represent the output from the required grating. The validity of the proposed method was evaluated by designing a multilevel anisotropic diffraction grating using the outputs from an orthogonal circular polarization grating. The design results corresponded to the orthogonal circular polarization grating structures that were used to provide outputs to act as the input data for the process. Comparison with existing design methods shows that the proposed method can reduce the number of human processes that are required to design multilevel anisotropic diffraction gratings. Additionally, the method will be able to design complex structures without any requirement for subsequent examination by a human designer. The method can contribute to the development of optical elements by designing multilevel anisotropic diffraction gratings.  相似文献

A detailed analysis of three-dimensional vector holograms is presented which were recorded in a photoreactive polymer dissolved liquid crystal. The diffraction properties of resultant periodic anisotropic structures were investigated. Experimental observations confirmed that the diffraction efficiencies of the structures varied with slight changes of the grating pitch, and also that they strongly depended on the incident angle of the probe beam. These diffraction properties were explained by the finite-difference time-domain optical simulations.  相似文献

New research fields have opened up that are related to the interactions between molecules and high-intensity optical fields where the laser intensity ranges from 1012–1017 W cm−2. A broad outline of this area will be described from the perspective of products and new techniques for beam generation. Studies of large molecules have begun and some examples are introduced herein. Parent ions with little fragmentation are found to form in the intensity region below 1016 W cm−2. The formation of intact ions can be used in femtosecond laser mass spectrometry. In the intensity region above 1016 W cm−2, electrons are stripped from the molecules by optical field ionization and the highly charged ions can undergo a Coulomb explosion. Coulomb explosions of benzene and C60 have been demonstrated, and the mechanism can be analyzed by means of molecular dynamics simulations. A high intensity femtosecond laser beam can be converted to radiation sources of coherent VUV light, X-rays etc. and some possibilities for new chemical applications will be discussed.  相似文献
