This paper proposes a novel computational approach employing a Monte Carlo method, aimed at an improved understanding of the dynamics and energetics of activated ions in sustained off-resonance irradiation collisionally activated dissociation (SORI-CAD) experimental events of Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance mass spectrometry (FTICRMS). In SORI-CAD events, internal energies of activated ions are complicatedly associated with their motion undergoing off-resonance excitation (i.e. alternate accelerations and decelerations) and inherently stochastic ion-neutral collisions. Several types of pseudo-random generators were adapted to probability density functions (PDFs) which characterize the ion-neutral collision process. Simulated ion trajectories involve the realistic feature of pressurized SORI-CAD events, such as a collisional damping and those which have not been illustrated in conventional analytical approaches. The proposed method can simulate the time-varying translational and internal energies of activated ions. The present result suggests that the internal energy of a SORI-activated ion should be inversely proportional to the cube of the SORI excitation frequency offset. A positive‐type photosensitive polyimide (PSPI) based on poly(amic acid) (PAA), a crosslinker 1,1,1‐tris{4‐[2‐(vinyloxy)ethoxy]phenyl}ethane (TVPE), a photoacid generator (PAG) (5‐propylsulfonyloxyimino‐5H‐thiophen‐2‐ylidene)‐2‐(methylphenyl)acetonitrile (PTMA), and a thermobase generator (TBG) t‐butyl 2,6‐dimethylpiperidine‐1‐carboxylate (BDPC) has been developed as a promising material in microelectronics. The PAA was prepared from 3,3′,4,4′‐biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride (BPDA) and 4,4′‐oxydianiline (ODA) in dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). The PSPI, consisting of PAA (69 wt %), TPVE (21 wt %), PTMA (3 wt %), and BDPC (7 wt %), showed high sensitivity of 21 mJ/cm2 and a high contrast of 6.8 when it was exposed to a 436‐nm line (g‐line), postbaked at 90 °C for 5 min, and developed with 1.69 wt % TMAHaq. A clear positive image of 8 μm line and space pattern was printed on film, which was exposed to 50 mJ/cm2 of g‐line by a contact printing mode and fully converted to the corresponding polyimide (PI) pattern on heating at 200 °C, confirmed by FTIR spectroscopy. Hemicryptophanes are covalent molecular cages, constructed from a cyclotriveratrylene-based host unit and a functional unit linked by covalent spacers, which have been designed to accommodate endohedral functionalities in the cavity. In this study, the synthesis and characterization of the rigid, biphenyl-linked hemicryptophane 1 were investigated by NMR, ESI-MS, and X-ray crystallography. The structure of the inclusion complex, in which a dichloromethane molecule was constructed encapsulated within 1, was characterized by X-ray crystallography. An endohedral, cobalt(II) hemicryptophane complex 2 was also synthesized and characterized ESI-MS and X-ray crystallography. The X-ray crystal structure of 2 showed that the biphenyl-linked hemicryptophane had three components—a molecule each of chloroform and acetonitrile, and a cobalt(II) ion—within its cavity. 相似文献

Armatol F, isolated from the red alga Chondria armata as a polyether triterpene, has a solitary oxepane (A-ring) and a fused tricyclic ether moiety (BCD-ring). The A-ring features a rare cis-relationship between the hydroxy group at the quaternary carbon C6 and the carbon chain at C7. As part of our program toward the total synthesis of armatol F, a new stereoselective method for the construction of the C6 and C7 stereocenters has been developed based on chirality-transferring Ireland-Claisen rearrangement. We demonstrate controllable excitation of the center-of-mass longitudinal motion of a thermal antiproton plasma using a swept-frequency autoresonant drive. When the plasma is cold, dense, and highly collective in nature, we observe that the entire system behaves as a single-particle nonlinear oscillator, as predicted by a recent theory. In contrast, only a fraction of the antiprotons in a warm plasma can be similarly excited. Antihydrogen was produced and trapped by using this technique to drive antiprotons into a positron plasma, thereby initiating atomic recombination. 相似文献

We examine the temperature dependence of resistivity in a two-dimensional electron system formed in a silicon-on-insulator quantum well. The device allows us to tune the valley splitting continuously in addition to the electron density. Our data provide a global picture of how the resistivity and its temperature dependence change with valley polarization. At the boundary between valley-polarized and partially polarized regions, we demonstrate that there is an insulating contribution from spin-degenerate electrons occupying the upper valley-subband edge. 相似文献

The authors have demonstrated white light emission of rare earth (RE)-free Mn-doped SnO-ZnO-P(2)O(5) glass. The RE-free glass shows white light emission with a high value of quantum efficiency (QE) comparable to conventional crystalline phosphor. It is notable that the high QE value is attained for RE-free transparent glass, and the broad emission can be continuously tuned by both the amount of activator and the composition of the glass. Since this glass possesses low-melting property, we emphasize that the glass phosphor will lead to the development of a novel inorganic white-light-emitting device in combination with a solid state UV light-emitting source. 相似文献
