A sequential extraction procedure (three-step), proposed by the Standards, Measurements and Testing Programme (formerly BCR) of the European Union, was applied to street dust and spiked soil samples for the determination of PGEs. Analyses were carried out using inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). The results indicate that up to 5% from Pt, 70% from Pd and 14% from Rh are in mobile forms in street dust. The results for the soil samples spiked with crushed catalytic converter are significantly lower indicating that PGEs are oxidised more efficiently in natural conditions. Additionally Pt and Pd bound to humic acids were investigated. 相似文献

The objectives of this study were to evaluate the mobility of heavy metals (HMs) in two types of soils (acidic forest soil and neutral agricultural soil) by leaching with calcium chloride solution in column experiments. The screening properties of neutral agricultural soil towards pollution by heavy metals (Ni, Cu, Zn and Cd) are approximately 10 times higher than those of acid forest soil. The neutral agricultural soil, polluted artificially by one pore volume (PV) of an HMs solution of concentration 200 mg L?1, can screen the leaching of these metals over several hundreds of years. The higher apparent desorption rate and per cent desorption of HMs (especially Cd) in acid forest soil indicated a higher potential of intensive migration of the metals across the profile and indicated potential risk of Cd pollution for this type of soil. The latest approach of artificial neural networks to describe transport of HMs in soil has been also evaluated. Using a simple three-layer perceptron topology with three hidden neurons, the experimental data could be simulated. The results suggested that the pH of soil is a major factor controlling the retention of the heavy metals in the soils. 相似文献

The first catalytic enantioselective 1,3‐dipolar cycloaddition of azomethine ylides to α‐aminoacrylate catalyzed by a AgOAc/ferrocenyl oxazolinylphosphine (FOXAP) system was developed, which exhibits excellent exo‐ and enantioselectivity (92–99 % ee). A new low‐dimensional benzyl viologen/iodoargentate hybrid, [(BV)2(Ag5I9)]n ( 1 ) (BV2+ = benzyl viologen) was prepared. In 1 , (Ag6I9)n2– chain exhibits a new type of one‐dimensional chain constructed from vertex‐sharing of Ag5I10 units, and its two‐dimensional layer structure was constructed from C–H ··· I hydrogen bonds. Strong luminescence at 404 nm can be detected in 1 . DFT calculation suggests that 1 displays a reduced bandgap, which is led by a more dispersed LUMO band of BV2+ compared with MV2+ in [MV(Ag2I4)]n. 相似文献

Two coordination polymers (CPs), namely, [Cu(Hptz)2(Hhba)2]n ( 1 ) [Hptz = 5‐(4‐pyridyl)‐1H‐tetrazole, H2hba = 2‐hydroxybenzoic acid] and [Zn3(ptz)2(hpa)2]n ( 2 ) (H2hpa = 2‐hydroxy‐2‐phenylacetic acid), were synthesized by solvothermal reactions. Both complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, powder X‐ray diffraction, thermogravimetric analysis, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. Compound 1 exhibits a 2D (4,4) network, where each layer connects to four adjacent layers to construct a 3D supramolecular framework. Compound 2 has a 3D framework structure composed of 1D SUBs, which are formed by both carboxyl and tetrazole groups. The complexes represent two rare examples of CPs constructed from Hptz and organic carboxyl acid ligands. A silica-based adsorbent, (DtBuCH18C6 + dodecanol)/SiO2-P, which is used for selective separation of Sr(II) from high level liquid wastes, against temperature and gama-irradiation was investigated. The adsorption characteristics of Sr(II), Ba(II), La(III), Nd(III), Gd(III) and Dy(III) under varying nitric acid concentration at different temperatures were measured by batch method. The adsorbent showed higher distribution coefficients (K d) for Sr(II) compared to other tested metal ions, and the K d values of Sr(II) decreased with increasing temperature. Thermodynamic parameters of the adsorption process were calculated. The related parameters in adsorption isotherm models were obtained using a non-linear fitting. Uptake capacity from 0.38 to 0.43 mmol g?1 was obtained for Sr(II) in the temperature range of 298–323 K by the Langmuir equation fitting. The leakage of total organic carbon was below 120 ppm at 298 K and 180 ppm at 323 K, respectively. The degradation of the adsorbent irradiated in 2 M HNO3 was investigated. It is found that the adsorbed dose of γ-ray more than 50 KGy has a strong influence on K d of Sr(II). The K d values of Sr(II) decrease about 3 times ranged from 50 to 500 KGy. 相似文献
