Vinyl-substituted silylenes, 2,5-bis(methylene)-1-silacyclopentane-1,1-diyl ( 1 ) and 2-methylene-1-silacyclopentane-1,1-diyl ( 2 ), generated photochemically from the corresponding trisilanes in 3-methylpentane (3-MP) at 77 K, showed broad bands at 505 and 475 nm, respectively, which were assigned to the n(Si)-3p(Si) transition. The origin of the red shift in the n(Si)-3p(Si) transition is ascribed to the significant lowering of the 3p(Si) orbital level caused by the vinyl substitution on the silylene; the relatively high-lying 3p(Si) orbital can interact more effectively with the antibonding π* orbital than with the bonding π orbital of the vinyl group. The absorption spectra for 1 and 2 in the presence of several bases in 3-MP glass matrix shifted significantly to blue due to the formation of the corresponding base complexes. Analysis of the spectral change of the silylenes upon complexation with bases was very constructive for the understanding of the structural characteristics of substituted silylenes.  相似文献

Liquid crystalline/polymer composite membrane-coated electrodes were prepared by casting a 1,2-dichloroethane solution of N-(4-ethoxybenzylidene)-4′-n-butylaniline (EBBA) and polycarbonate (PC) on an electrode surface. The temperature-dependence of the permeability of the EBBA/PC composite membrane on electrodes to Fe(CN)3?6 ion as a solution-phase redox ion was investigated by means of hydrodynamic voltammetry at a rotating disk electrode. The permeability changed with temperature over the range of the crystalline-nematic-phase transition temperature of EBBA. It is demonstrated that the observed temperature-dependence of the permeability reflects the thermotropic properties of EBBA in the EBBA/PC composite membrane. Furthermore, the dependence of the limiting current of the steady-state current-potential curves for the reduction of Fe(CN)6 at the EBBA/PC composite membrane-coated electrode upon the membrane thickness, the blend ratio of EBBA and PC and the concentration of Fe(CN)3?6 in a bulk solution was examined in order to understand the transport process of Fe(CN)?36 through the EBBA/PC composite membrane from the membrane/solution interface to the electrode/membrane interface. The transport process of Fe(CN)3?6 within the membrane was found to obey Fick's Law.  相似文献

Visible photoluminescence (PL) of nanocrystalline silicon (nc-Si) embedded in single crystal CaF2 formed on Si(1 1 1) has been studied and the influence of ex situ rapid thermal annealing (RTA) on the surface morphology and PL spectra has been studied. This paper deals with the free transverse vibration of orthotropic trapezoidal plates clamped at the edges. A series-type method is applied for obtaining an analytical solution of the problem, and the resulting frequency equation is presented for symmetric trapezoids. In the numerical study, accurate frequency parameters and mode shapes of the plates are calculated for the first several modes, and the effects of the orthotropy are discussed.  相似文献

Anisotropic optical absorption properties of single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) are determined from a vertically aligned SWNT film for 0.5-6 eV. Absorption peaks at 4.5 and 5.25 eV are found to exhibit remarkable polarization dependence and have relevance to optical properties of graphite. A method for determining a nematic order parameter for an aligned SWNT film based on the collinear absorption peak at 4.5 eV is presented, followed by the determination of the optical absorption cross section.  相似文献

A total synthesis of the biologically important diterpene ingenol has been completed. Ring-closing olefin metathesis was used to construct the strained "inside-outside" tetracyclic skeleton, and a series of diastereoselective reactions were employed to complete the synthesis.
