Cyclodextrins form complexes with lanthanide ions in basic aqueous solutions. This complex formation in basic solution dramatically enhances the solubility of lanthanide ions, which are otherwise insoluble due to the formation of hydroxide gels. Solutions of the -cyclodextrin-Ce3+ complex effectively hydrolyze 2-deoxyadenosine-5-monophosphate to 2-deoxyadenosine.  相似文献

Cells that express mutant p53 derived from cancers are selectively killed by a new class of small organic molecules. The protein p53 is recognized as one of the most important guardians in the body that prevents tumor development. Mutant forms of p53 are present in approximately 50% of all human cancers. Molecules that selectively kill cells expressing mutant p53 could become important chemotherapeutic agents. Our research focuses on developing a synthetically accessible class of molecules that can be easily modified to examine structural activity relationships and mechanism of biological activity or to optimize for anticancer activity. In this communication, a new class of molecules that selectively arrests growth of cells expressing two forms of mutant p53 is described. Synthetic routes to these compounds are also presented.  相似文献

Using a molecular fluorine laser at 157 nm wavelength, submicron patterning of organosilane self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) is demonstrated utilizing mask-contact photolithography. An organosilane, namely, octadecyltrimethoxysilane [ODS, CH(3)(CH(2))(17)Si(OCH(3))(3)], SAM is chemisorbed onto Si substrates covered with a 2 nm thick oxide layer and subsequently patterned using the laser. The optical path of the laser beam and the photomask-sample space are evacuated and then backfilled and purged with nitrogen during laser firing. The resulting pattern is investigated using various measurement techniques. The scanning probe microscopy images show that patterns are transferred to the SAM-covered Si substrates and that 500 nm features are successfully photoprinted in this way.  相似文献

A modification of the conventional static head-space gas chromatography method (SHSGC method) to determine stability constants for 1-alkanol/alpha-CD inclusion complexes was investigated. The 1 : 1 stability constants determined by this modified SHSGC method are in reasonable agreement with the corresponding values reported previously. The modified SHSGC method precludes the necessity of the calibration curve by the use of Henry's law constant of guest. Consequently, the modified SHSGC method is more advantageous than the conventional SHSGC method because the experimental time required for determination of the stability constant is markedly reduced.  相似文献

 In dc glow discharge mass spectrometry, the addition of small amounts of H2 to pure Ar as discharge gas has greatly increased the ion intensities of elements compared with the conventional method using pure Ar. This phenomenon was also observed for the addition of H2 to pure Kr. The reason for the increase of the ion intensities of elements was studied by using a Kr gas mixture containing 0.2% (v/v) H2. The ion intensities of the elements P, Se and As (whose first ionization potentials are higher than the energy levels of the excited state of Kr) did not increase even if the Kr/H2 gas mixture was used. The results show that the addition of H2 significantly contributed to increasing the number of metastable argon or krypton atoms (Penning ionization). Nmr spectra of structural analogs of tenuazonic acid such as 3-acetyltetramic acid, 3-acetyltetronic acid, 3-acetylthiotetronic acid and others were investigated for elucidation of the tautomeric structures. These compounds have completely enolized β,β′-triketone systems, and the position of the nmr signals for the enolic proton shows that the strength of their intramolecular hydrogen-bonding is weaker than those of acyclic β,β′-triketones and six-membered cyclic triketones. The assignment was made for nmr signals split by the difference of the diamagnetic anisotropic effect in each tautomers. The percentages of each of the tautomers were calculated from the intensities of the corresponding nmr signals. The results were confirmed by means of 13C-nmr spectroscopy.  相似文献

The isolation and structure elucidation of YM-254890, a novel Gq/11 inhibitor from Chromobacterium sp. QS3666, is described. The gross structure was determined by one- and two-dimensional NMR studies and mass spectrometry. YM-254890 is a cyclic depsipeptide containing uncommon amino acids; β-hydroxyleucine (two residues), N,O-dimethylthreonine and N-methyldehydroalanine. YM-254890 exists as a mixture of two conformers in a variety of NMR solvents, and the distinction between major and minor conformers appears to lie in the geometry of the amide bond between 3-phenyllactic acid and N-methyldehydroalanine. The absolute stereochemistery was elucidated by Marfey's analysis and chiral HPLC analysis of the acid hydrolysate of YM-254890.  相似文献
