Thermolysis of CoRu(CO)7(mu-PPh2) (1) in refluxing 1,2-dichloroethane in the presence of the diphosphine ligands 2,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)maleic anhydride (bma) and 4,5-bis(diphenylphosphino)-4-cyclopenten-1,3-dione (bpcd) furnishes the new mixed-metal complexes CoRu(CO)4(mu-P-P)(mu-PPh2) [where P-P = bma (3a), bpcd (3b)] along with trace amounts of the known complex CoRu(CO)6(PPh3)(mu-PPh2) (4). The requisite pentacarbonyl intermediates CoRu(CO)5(mu-P-P)(mu-PPh2) [where P-P = bma (2a), bpcd (2b)] have been prepared by separate routes (mild thermolysis and Me3NO activation) and studied for their conversion to CoRu(CO)4(mu-P-P)(mu-PPh2). The penta- and tetracarbonyl complexes have been isolated and fully characterized in solution by IR and NMR spectroscopy. The kinetics for the conversion of 2a-->3a and of 2b-->3b were measured by IR spectroscopy in chlorobenzene solvent. On the basis of the first-order rate constants, CO inhibition, and the activation parameters (2a-->3a, delta H++ = 29.2 +/- 1.4 kcal mol-1 and delta S++ = 8.2 +/- 3.8 eu; 2b-->3b, delta H++ = 27.7 +/- 0.6 kcal mol-1 and delta S++ = 1.4 +/- 1.6 eu), a mechanism involving dissociative CO loss as the rate-limiting step is proposed. The solid-state structure of CoRu(CO)4(mu-bma)(mu-PPh2) (3a), as determined by X-ray crystallography, reveals that the two PPh2 groups are bound to the ruthenium center while the maleic anhydride pi bond is coordinated to the cobalt atom.  相似文献

A method using capillary electrophoresis-mass spectrometry (CE-MS) was developed for the structural elucidation of bupivacaine and metabolites in rat urine. Prior to CE-MS analysis, solid-phase extraction (SPE) was used for sample cleanup and preconcentration purposes. Exact mass and tandem mass spectrometric (MS/MS) experiments were performed to obtain structural information about the unknown metabolites. Two instruments with different mass analyzers were used for mass spectrometric detection. A quadrupole time-of-flight (Q-TOF) and a magnetic sector hybrid instrument were coupled to CE and used for the analysis of urine extracts. Hydroxybupivacaine as well as five other isomerically different metabolites were detected including methoxylated bupivacaine.  相似文献

The reactivity of the bidentate ligand 2,3-bis(diphenylphosphino)-N-phenylmaleimide (bppm) with the tetrahedrane cluster PhCCo3(CO)9 under thermolysis and ETC conditions has been studied and found to ultimately give Co3(CO)6221-C(Ph) ${\text{C}}{\text{ = }}{\text{ = }}{\text{C(PPh}}_{\text{2}} {\text{)C(O)NPhC}}$ (O)](μ2-PPh2) as the final product. The intermediate cluster compound PhCCo3(CO)7(bppm), which was observed by IR and 31P NMR spectroscopies, readily and rapidly transforms into the product cluster under the reactions conditions. The solid-state structure of Co3(CO)6221-C(Ph)fptt(O)](μ2-PPh$_{2})$ was unequivocally determined by X-ray crystallography. Co3(CO)62, η2, η1-C(Ph)Õ(O)](μ2-PPh2) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n, a = 11.825(5) Å, b = 31.20(1) Å, c = 11.831(5) Å, β = 108.720(7)°, V = 4134(7) Å3, Z = 4, d calc = 1.567 Mg/m3; R = 0.0350, R w = 0.0817 for 4747 observed reflections with I > 2σ(I). The X-ray structure confirms the coupling of the benzylidyne ligand with the bppm ligand in Co3(CO)6221-C(Ph)Õ(O)](μ2-PPh2). The course of the thermolysis reaction is identical to those reactions carried out with the related diphosphine ligands bma and bpcd. The utility of electron-transfer catalysis (ETC) in the preparation of PhCCo3(CO)7(bppm) is discussed relative to the reduction potential of the bppm ligand and the tricobalt cluster PhCCo3(CO)9.  相似文献

The title compound, C36H26B4F24N2O6·0.667C4H10O, has centrosymmetric tetraboradioxane molecules, half each of three of these comprising the asymmetric unit together with a molecule of diethyl ether. Disorder affects most of the CF3 groups and one ethyl group of the solvent molecule. The B4O2 rings are approximately planar and contain two B atoms with trigonal geometry and two with distorted tetrahedral geometry, the B—O bonds for the four‐coordinate B atoms being longer than those for the three‐coordinate B atoms. N—H...O hydrogen bonds link two of the crystallographically independent molecules together in chains, while the third molecule forms discrete trimolecular clusters with two solvent molecules via N—H...O hydrogen bonds. This is the first crystallographically characterized example of a tetrabora‐dioxane molecule containing both four‐ and three‐coordinate B atoms.  相似文献

[structure: see text] [structure: see text] [structure: see text] Several Precipiton phosphines were prepared and employed in the Staudinger reaction and in the reduction of secondary ozonides. Both amines and aldehdyes were obtained in good to excellent yields and purities. After use of the phosphine, isomerization and precipitation of the spent phosphorus reagent were induced by exposure to visible light in the presence of erythrosin B, a triplet sensitizer. Products were isolated by simple filtration. The use of the triplet sensitizer has the added advantage of eliminating [2 + 2] cycloaddition reactions between trans-Precipitons.  相似文献

N-heterocyclic olefins (NHOs), relatives of N-heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs), exhibit high nucleophilicity and soft Lewis basic character. To investigate their π-electron donating ability, NHOs were attached to triarylborane π-acceptors (A) giving donor (D)–π–A compounds 1 – 3 . In addition, an enamine π-donor analogue ( 4 ) was synthesized for comparison. UV–visible absorption studies show a larger red shift for the NHO-containing boranes than for the enamine analogue, a relative of cyclic (alkyl)(amino) carbenes (CAACs). Solvent-dependent emission studies indicate that 1 – 4 have moderate intramolecular charge-transfer (ICT) behavior. Electrochemical investigations reveal that the NHO-containing boranes have extremely low reversible oxidation potentials (e.g., for 3 , =−0.40 V vs. ferrocene/ferrocenium, Fc/Fc+, in THF). Time-dependent (TD) DFT calculations show that the HOMOs of 1 – 3 are much more destabilized than that of the enamine-containing 4 , which confirms the stronger donating ability of NHOs.  相似文献

We report in situ spectroscopic measurements monitoring the adsorption of a series of carboxylate surfactants onto the surface of the semisoluble, ionic solid fluorite (CaF2). We employ the surface-specific technique, vibrational sum-frequency spectroscopy (VSFS), to examine the effect that surfactant adsorption has on the bonding interactions and orientation of interfacial water molecules through the alteration of the electric properties in the interfacial region. In addition, we report on the chain length and headgroup dependence of the formation of hydrophobic self-assembled monolayers on the surface of the solid phase. Differences in chain length and headgroup functionality lead to large changes in the adsorption behavior and structuring of the monolayers formed and the interactions of interfacial water molecules with these monolayers. Fundamental studies such as these are essential for understanding the mechanisms involved in the surfactant adsorption process, information that is important for industrially relevant processes such as mineral ore flotation, waste processing, and petroleum recovery.  相似文献

Besides a brief review of the INEEL, examples of chemical separation activities in environmental management are presented in this paper. Under development at the INEEL are separation technologies for the treatment of radioactive wastes, including highly radioactive liquid wastes, solid calcined wastes and mixed wastes, as well as contaminated groundwater and soils. In this work, long optical path length thin‐layer electrochemical cell was constructed using indium‐tin oxide on glass as the electrode material. Iron release from ferritin adsorbed on the electrode was induced by applying a negative potential sweep in the presence of 1,10‐phenanthroline. The usefulness of spectroelectrochemistry as a means of determining the quantity of iron released from an adsorbed layer of ferritin is demonstrated.  相似文献

The viscoelastic properties of dendrimers of generation 1-4 are studied using nonequilibrium molecular dynamics. Flow properties of dendrimer melts under shear are compared to systems composed of linear chain polymers of the same molecular weight, and the influence of molecular architecture is discussed. Rheological material properties, such as the shear viscosity and normal stress coefficients, are calculated and compared for both systems. We also calculate and compare the microscopic properties of both linear chain and dendrimer molecules, such as their molecular alignment, order parameters and rotational velocities. We find that the highly symmetric shape of dendrimers and their highly constrained geometry allows for substantial differences in their material properties compared to traditional linear polymers of equivalent molecular weight.  相似文献
