The spectroscopic properties for seven different commercial resins used in solid-phase synthesis were investigated with (19)F NMR spectroscopy. A fluorine-labeled dipeptide was synthesized on each resin, and the resolution of the (19)F resonances in CDCl(3), DMSO-d(6), benzene-d(6) and CD(3)OD were measured with a conventional NMR spectrometer, i.e. without using magic angle spinning. In general, resins containing poly(ethylene glycol) chains (ArgoGel, TentaGel and PEGA) were found to be favorable for the (19)F NMR spectral quality. Three serine containing tri-, penta-, and heptapeptides were then prepared on an ArgoGel resin functionalized with a fluorine-labeled linker. The resin bound peptides were glycosylated utilizing a thiogalactoside glycosyl donor carrying fluorine-labeled protective groups. Monitoring of the glycosylations with gel-phase (19)F NMR spectroscopy allowed each glycopeptide to be formed in similar 80% yield, using a minimal amount of glycosyl donor (3 x 2 equivalents). We consider percolation on the Voronoi tessellation generated by a homogeneous Poisson point process on the hyperbolic plane. We show that the critical probability for the existence of an infinite cluster tends to 1/2 as the intensity of the Poisson process tends to infinity. The appearance of informative signals in the mass spectra of laser-ablated bio-aerosol particles depends on the effective ionization probabilities (EIP) of individual components during the laser ionization process. This study investigates how bio-aerosol chemical composition governs the EIP values of specific components and the overall features of the spectra from the bio-aerosol mass spectrometry (BAMS). EIP values were determined for a series of amino acid, dipicolinic acid, and peptide aerosol particles to determine what chemical features aid in ionization. The spectra of individual amino acids and dipicolinic acid, as well as mixtures, were examined for extent of fragmentation and the presence of molecular ion dimers, which are indicative of ionization conditions. Standard mixtures yielded information with respect to the significance of secondary ion plume reactions on observed spectra. A greater understanding of how these parameters affect EIP and spectra characteristics of bio-aerosols will aid in the intelligent selection of viable future biomarkers for the identification of bio-terrorism agents. 相似文献

Reactivity of Monophosphine Platinum(0) Complexes with SO2 . The addition reaction of (PPh3)Pt(ViSi) (ViSi = {η2-H2C?CHSiMe2}2O) ( 1 ) with SO2 gives within 30 min the red SO2 complex (PPh3)Pt(η2-H2C?CHSiMe2- OSiMe2CH?CH2)(SO2) ( 2 ). A reaction time of 24 h with SO2 leads to the elimination of the ViSi ligand, and the unstable monomeric intermediate (PPh3)Pt(SO2) cyclo- trimerizes to the stable cluster [Pt(PPh3)(SO2)]3 ( 3 ). 3 is also obtained within 30 min by the reaction of (PPh3)Pt(C2H4)2 ( 4 ) with SO2. The crystal structure of 3 has been determined; space group P21/n, Z = 4, a = 1 606.1(3), b = 1 019.3(1), c = 3 624.6(5) pm, β = 93.67°, R/Rw = 0.102/0.121. 相似文献

Summary The activities of diamine oxidases (DAO) from submaxillary glands, parotid glands and kidneys, from human serum during the pregnancy and from pig serum and of DAO from pea seedlings and the activities of urease and histidine ammonia-lyase have been determined by measuring NH4
+ released from the corresponding substrates. Ammonia has been determined with the aid of glutamate dehydrogenase reaction in the coupled optic test. The specifity and sensitivity of the method, by which still 3×10–9 Mol of NH4
+ could be measured, is excellent, the performance simple and rapid. The sensitivity could be enhanced by fluorometric determination of NAD+ in strong alkali solution. A method for the preparation of tissues for the spectrophotometric test of DAO is described. The importance of DAO determination in different diseases is briefly discussed.

Zusammenfassung Die Aktivität von Diaminoxydasen aus Speicheldrüsen und Nieren, aus menschlichem Serum während der Schwangerschaft und Schweineserum und aus Erbsenkeimlingen sowie die Aktivität der Urease und Histidase wurden anhand der NH3-Abspaltung aus ihren entsprechenden Substraten bestimmt. Das entstehende Ammoniak wurde dabei mit Hilfe der Glutamatdehydrogenasereaktion im gekoppelten optischen Test gemessen. Spezifität und Empfindlichkeit der Methode, mit der noch 3 · 10–9 Mol NH4 + bestimmt werden können, sind ausgezeichnet, die Durchführung einfach und rasch. Die Empfindlichkeit konnte außerdem noch durch die fluorimetrische Bestimmung von NAD+ gesteigert werden. Für die Bestimmung der Diaminoxydasen im Gewebe wird eine Methode der Aufarbeitung des Gewebes angegeben, die praktisch keinen Verlust an Gesamtaktivität gegenüber dem Ausgangshomogenat aufweist. Die Bedeutung der Diaminoxydasebestimmung für die Klinik wird kurz diskutiert.

[reactions: see text] Two complementary and efficient strategies have been developed for the regiospecific synthesis of unsymmetrical indolopyrrolocarbazoles (IPCs) mono-N-substituted with a pentacycle. A halogen in position 2 of the intermediate bisindolylmaleimides 3a-e allows a selective Mitsunobu coupling by exploiting the increased acidity of the 2-chloro-substituted indole nitrogen. It also promotes an easier cyclization of bisindolylmaleimides 4a-e and 7b-e to IPCs. Alkylation of the 2-unsubstituted indole-3-carboxamides 2a,b and further processing to the corresponding IPCs gives access to the opposite regioisomers. 相似文献

A series of gold(III) cations of the type cis-[CH3)2AuL2]+ X? where L Ph3, PMePh2, PMe2Ph, PMe3, AsPh3, AsPh3, SbPh3, H2NCH2CH2NH2, Ph2PCH2CH2-PPh2, Ph2AsCH2CH2AsPh2, and o-C6H4(AsMe2)2 and X BF4?, PF6?, ClO4?, and F3CSO3? has been prepared. In addition, the cis complexes [(CH3)(CD3)-Au(PPh3)2]F3CSO3, [(C2H5)2Au(PPh3)2]F3CSO and [(n-C4H9)2Au(PPh3)2]F3-CSO3 have been synthesized. All have been characterized by PMR, Raman and infrared spectroscopy. These [R2AuL2]X compounds yield only ethane, butane, or octane via reductive elimination, and no disproportionation is observed. The alkane eliminations have been studied in CHCl3, CH3Cl2, and CH3COCH3 solution as a function of temperature, concentration of the complex, and concentration of added ligand L. Elimination is fastest when L is bulky (PPh3 > PMePh2 > PMe2Ph > PMe3), decreases in the sequence SbPh3 > AsPh3 > PPh3, is slow with chelating ligands, is inhibited by excess ligand, and there is small anion effect as X is varied. As R is varied, the rate of elimination decreases Bu ? Et > Me. An intramolecular dissociative mechanism is proposed which involves rapid elimination of alkane from an electron deficient dialkylgold(III) complex with nonequivalent gold—carbon bonds and produces the corresponding [AuL2]X complex. 相似文献
