The highly chemoselective transfer hydrogenation of the carbon–carbon double bond of conjugated nitroalkenes by a rhodium complex

Chemoselective transfer hydrogenation of conjugated nitroalkenes catalyzed by [RhCl₂Cp¹]₂–diamine complex (Cp¹=η⁵-C₅Me₅) using HCOOH/Et₃N (5:2) (TEAF) as a hydrogen source was realized. A variety of nitrostyrenes, β-methyl nitrostyrenes, and 3-methyl-4-nitro-5-alkenyl-isoxazoles were reduced smoothly in good to excellent yields in short reaction time. Other functional groups are inert under the reaction conditions.     

An efficient blue-emitting phosphor LiCaPO4:Eu2+ for white LEDs

A new blue-emitting phosphor LiCaPO₄: Eu²⁺ was synthesized by solid state reaction at a relatively low temperature of 900 °C. It gives a single intense emission band centering at 470 nm, which corresponds to the 4f⁶5d¹→4f⁷ transition of Eu²⁺. The dependence of luminescence intensities on Eu²⁺ concentration was investigated. The phosphor, with a single excitation band extending from 250 to 400 nm, could be efficiently excited by near-ultraviolet light-emitting diodes and is believed to be a promising blue-emitting phosphor for white light-emitting diodes.     

How Model Sets Can Be Determined by Their Two-point and Three-point Correlations

We show that real model sets with real internal spaces are determined, up to translation and changes of density 0, by their 2- and 3-point correlations. We also show that there exist pairs of real (even 1D) aperiodic model sets with internal spaces that are products of real spaces and finite cyclic groups whose 2- and 3-point correlations are identical but which are not related by either translation or inversion of their windows. All these examples are pure point diffractive. Placed in the context of ergodic uniformly discrete point processes, the result is that real point processes of model sets based on real internal windows are determined by their second and third moments.     

Analysis of hybrid donor layer in organic solar cells based on SubPc and rubrene

In this paper, photovoltaic characteristics of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/SubPc:Rubrene (mixed ratio R by weight)/C₆₀/Bphen/Ag organic solar cells (OSCs) are analyzed in detail. The intrinsic properties of a SubPc:rubrene doped layer on device performance were discussed based on theoretical analysis of the experimental OSCs. The ratio R was 0, 0.25, 0.5, and 0.75,1, respectively. The results showed that when R was 0.75 performing the best, which owned the highest short circuit current (J _sc ) 6.61 mA/cm² and highest power conversion efficiency (PCE) 2.44%, the FF was 41% and the open circuit current (V _oc ) was 0.905 V. The suitable HOMO level, absorption capacity, carrier transport ability and exciton diffusion length (L _D ) of organic material are very important for the performance of the device.     

非线性条件对记录多重全息图的影响

通过计算和比较在线性条件及非线性条件下各级多重衍射像的光强及相位分布情况,分析了非线性条件对多重全息图成像效果的影响.提出了拍摄多重全息图的合适条件,并用实验加以验证.     

Improvements on the third generation of electron momentum spectrometer

The significant modifications to our recently constructed electron momentum spectrometer have been implemented. Compared with our previous report, the energy and the angle resolutions are significantly improved and reach △E = 0.45 eV, △θ = ±0.53° and △φ = ±0.84°, respectively. Moreover, the details of data reduction and the relation between azimuthal angle range and the sensitivity are discussed.     

Studies of synthesizing behaviors and superconductivity of sol-gel YBa2Cu3O7-x samples in flowing oxygen atmosphere

Systematic studies of synthesizing behaviors of sol-gel YBa₂Cu₃O_7−x samples in flowing oxygen atmosphere and their superconductivity have been performed. A set of high temperature ρ-T curves has been obtained for the whole synthesizing process. After four rounds of synthesizing, the resistivity of the sample was around ρ=1.00×10⁻³Ω · cm at room temperature. The ρ-T curve of the fourth round shows that the orthorhombic to tetragonal phase transformation of the sample occurs around 600 °C, which is lower than that of the YBa₂Cu₃O_7−x sample prepared by conventional solid-state reaction method. Other measurements, such as X-ray diffraction, SEM measurement and low temperature R-T and M-T measurement, were also performed. And the R-T and M-T measurement results suggest that during the synthesizing process, there exist some state at which the sample has better superconductivity than the other states. Moreover, we found screw dislocations presenting on the sample broken surface from the SEM images. This will change the concept that the screw dislocations can only grow on the surface of the YBCO thin films and single crystals.
