Essential oils (EOs) have been used in cosmetics and food due to their antimicrobial and antiviral effects. However, the applications of EOs are compromised because of their poor aqueous solubility and high volatility. Qiai (Artemisia argyi Levl. et Van. var. argyi cv. Qiai) is a traditional Chinese herb and possesses strong antibacterial activity. Herein, we report an innovative formulation of EO as nanohydrogels, which were prepared through co-assembly of Qiai EO (QEO) and Pluronic F108 (PEG-b-PPG-b-PEG, or PF108) in aqueous solution. QEO was efficiently loaded in the PF108 micelles and formed nanohydrogels by heating the QEO/PF108 mixture solution to 37 °C, by the innate thermo-responsive property of PF108. The encapsulation efficiency and loading capacity of QEO reached 80.2% and 6.8%, respectively. QEO nanohydrogels were more stable than the free QEO with respect to volatilization. Sustained QEO release was achieved at body temperature using the QEO nanohydrogels, with the cumulative release rate reaching 95% in 35 h. In vitro antibacterial test indicated that the QEO nanohydrogels showed stronger antimicrobial activity against S. aureus and E. coli than the free QEO due to the enhanced stability and sustained-release characteristics. It has been attested that thermo-responsive QEO nanohydrogels have good potential as antibacterial cosmetics. 相似文献

The formation of a complex with 2-(5-brom-2-pyridylazo)-5-(diethylamino)-phenol (5-Br-PADAP) and cloud point extraction have
been applied to the preconcentration of cadmium followed by its determination by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry
(GFAAS) using octylphenoxypolyethoxyethanol (TritonX-114) as surfactant. The chemical variables affecting the separation were
optimized. At pH 7.0, preconcentration of only 10 mL of sample in the presence of 0.05% TritonX-114 and 2.5 × 10−6 M 5-Br-PADAP enabled the detection of 0.04 μg/L cadmium. The enrichment factor was 21 for cadmium. The regression equation
was A = 0.0439C(μg/L) + 7.2 × 10−3. The correlation coefficient was 0.9995. The precision for 10 replicate determinations at 10 μg/L Cd was 2.7% relative standard
deviation (RSD). The proposed method has been applied to the determination of cadmium in water samples.

This paper calculates the lifetime of resonant state and
transmission probability of a single electron tunnelling in a
spherical quantum dot (SQD) structure by using the transfer matrix
technique. In the SQD, the electron is confined both transversally
and longitudinally, the motion in the transverse and longitudinal
directions is separated by using the adiabatic approximation theory.
Meanwhile, the energy levels of the former are
considered as the
effective confining potential. The numerical calculations are carried out
for the SQD consisting of GaAs/InAs material. The obtained results show that the
bigger radius of the quantum dot not only leads significantly to the shifts
of resonant peaks toward the low-energy region, but also causes the
lengthening of the lifetime of resonant state. The lifetime of resonant
state can be calculated from the uncertainty principle between the energy

对薄膜介质层绕式Blumlein线的特性参数进行了理论分析。采用Pspice软件对电路模型进行了计算,分析了开关电感、寄生电阻对负载输出波形的影响。结果表明:开关电感的存在使得负载波形前沿变缓,后延波形扭曲变差,寄生电阻会影响负载的电压输出效率。采用模拟软件对传输线中的电磁场分布进行了计算,结果表明薄电极边缘场畸变以及折叠弯曲部分的场变化是绝缘介质耐压必须考虑的因素。基于此理论分析,设计制作了一种新型薄膜介质Blumlein线,绝缘材料为聚酯薄膜,单层薄膜厚100μm,电极为厚50μm的铜皮,单元模块设计耐压50 kV。进行了三级模块串联叠加实验,充电25 kV,匹配负载输出60 kV,脉冲上升沿80 ns,脉冲宽度200 ns。 相似文献
