Crystal structure determinations for the hexarubidium and octacesium derivatives of calix[6]arene hexasulfonic acid, as well as of a new solvate of the pentasodium derivative of calix[4]arene tetrasulfonic acid, and comparison with structural data from the literature for alkali metal complexes of sulfonated calixarenes, have provided further evidence for the importance of interactions with aromatic ~ -electrons for the heavier alkali metal cations. There is evidence as well that this interaction can be enhanced by extended ionization of the sulfonated calixarene. 相似文献
p-tert-Butyloctahomotetraoxacalix[8]arene (LH8) reacts with uranyl nitrate hexahydrate in the presence of rubidium hydroxide to give a mixed complex that can be viewed as a tetrauranate dimer [(UO2)4(LH4)2(OH)4] containing four disordered rubidium ions and water molecules. Two uranyl ions are complexed in an “external” fashion by each macrocycle, each of them bound to two phenoxide groups and one ether group, as well as to two bridging hydroxide ions. The latter ensure the formation of a dimeric capsule that contains the disordered set of alkali metal ions. Apart from water molecules, the Rb+ ions are bound to the uranyl oxo groups directed towards the inner cavity, and to phenol and ether oxygen atoms from the macrocycle. The resulting octanuclear complex presents an unprecedented geometry evidencing the assembling potential of uranyl ions. p-tert-Butyloctahomotetraoxacalix[8]arene (LH8) reacts with uranyl nitrate hexahydrate in the presence of rubidium hydroxide to give a mixed complex that can be viewed as a tetrauranate dimer [(UO2)4(LH4)2(OH)4] containing four disordered rubidium ions and water molecules. Myricetin is an important flavonol whose medically important properties include activities as an antioxidant, anticarcinogen, and antimutagen. The solubility, stability, and other biological properties of the compounds can be enhanced by conjugating aglycon with sugar moieties. The type of sugar moiety also plays a significant role in the biological and physical properties of the natural product glycosides. Reconstructed Escherichia coli containing thymidine diphosphate-α-l-rhamnose sugar gene cassette and Arabidopsis-derived glycosyltransferase were used for rhamnosylation of myricetin. Myricetin (100 μM) was exogenously supplemented to induced cultures of engineered E. coli. The formation of target product—myricetin-3-O-α-l-rhamnoside—was confirmed by chromatographic and NMR analyses. The yield of product was improved by using various mutants and methylated cyclodextrin as a molecular carrier for myricetin in combination with E. coli M3G3. The maximal yield of product is 55.6 μM (3.31-fold higher than the control E. coli MG3) and shows 55.6 % bioconversion of substrate under optimized conditions. 相似文献
The species Dracaena and Sansevieria, that are well-known for different uses in traditional medicines and as indoor ornamental plants with air purifying property, are rich sources of bioactive secondary metabolites. In fact, a wide variety of phytochemical constituents have been isolated so far from about seventeen species. This paper has reviewed the literature of about 180 steroidal saponins, isolated from Dracaena and Sansevieria species, as a basis for further studies. Saponins are among the most characteristic metabolites isolated from the two genera. They show a great variety in structural motifs and a wide range of biological activities, including anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, anti-proliferative effects and, in most case, remarkable cytotoxic properties. 相似文献
Crystal structure determinations on the uranyl ion complexes [H2N(CH3)2]2[UO2(bpdc)2], (1), (bpdc?=?2,2′-bipyridine-3,3′-dicarboxylate), [pyH]2[UO2(btfac)(NO3)2](NO3), (2), (btfac?=?1-phenyl-4,4,4-trifluorobutane-1,3-dionate), [H2dabco][UO2(nta)]2·3H2O, (3), (dabco?=?1,4-diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane; nta?=?nitrilotriacetate) and [Ni(cyclam)UO2(edta)].2H2O, (4), (cyclam?=?1,4,8,11-tetrazacyclotetradecane; edta?=?ethylenediaminetetraacetate) have provided further examples of U(VI) in tetragonal-, pentagonal and hexagonal-bipyramidal coordination environments. Consideration of each structure within the context of those of known relatives has been used to assess the influence of factors in addition to repulsions within the primary coordination sphere on the equatorial coordination number of U(VI).
Molecular functions depend on conformations and motions of the corresponding molecular species. An air–water interface is a suitable asymmetric field for the control of molecular conformations and motions under a small applied force. In this work, double‐paddled binuclear PtII complexes containing pyrazole rings linked by alkyl spacers were synthesized and their orientations and emission properties dynamically manipulated at the air–water interface. The complexes emerge from water with concurrent variation of interface orientation of the planes of the PtII complexes from perpendicular to parallel during mechanical compression suggesting a unique ‘submarine emission‘. Phosphorescence of the complexes is quenched at the air–water interface prior to monolayer formation with intensities subsequently rapidly increasing during monolayer compression. These results indicate that asymmetric reactions and motions might be controlled by applying mechanical force at the air–water interface. 相似文献
This article presents a correction method for a better resolution of the problem of estimating and predicting pollution, governed by Burgers' equations. The originality of the method consists in the introduction of an error function into the system's equations of state to model uncertainty in the model. The initial conditions and diffusion coefficients, present in the equations for pollution and concentration, and also those in the model error equations, are estimated by solving a data assimilation problem. The efficiency of the correction method is compared with that produced by the traditional method without introduction of an error function.Three test cases are presented in this study in order to compare the performances of the proposed methods. In the first two tests, the reference is the analytical solution and the last test is formulated as part of the “twin experiment”.The numerical results obtained confirm the important role of the model error equation for improving the prediction capability of the system, in terms of both accuracy and speed of convergence. 相似文献
