Summary.  Hexadentate ligands were formed by the reaction of primary dimethylaminoethyl- or methoxyethylamines with formaldehyde. The resulting N, N′, N″-functionalized hexahydro-1,3,5-triazines contain pending amino or ether functionalities which are able to coordinate to metals in addition to the ring nitrogen atoms. Both ligands were reacted with CuBr, and novel tricopper clusters were isolated and characterized by X-ray structure analysis. In these compounds a ring nitrogen atom, the pending amino or ether functionality, and two bridging bromine atoms coordinate each of the copper atoms. [reaction: see text] On treatment with samarium(II) iodide, gamma,delta-unsaturated ketones undergo very different processes depending upon the nature of the reaction conditions. Employing samarium(II) iodide and MeOH, functionalized syn-cyclopentanol products are obtained stereoselectively. Mechanistic studies suggest that this cyclization occurs via a sequential reduction/intramolecular aldol reaction. With samarium(II) iodide and HMPA, products of a 4-exo-trig cyclization and of an interesting fragmentation reaction are observed.  相似文献

Bimetallic, pentel-bridged complexes of the type [(dmap)Me2M-E(SiMe3)2-M'(CO)n] (M=Al, Ga; E=P, As, Sb; M'=Cr, Fe, Ni; DMAP=4-(dimethylamino)pyridine) are formed by reactions of DMAP-coordinated monomeric Group 13/15 compounds [(dmap)Me2M-E(SiMe3)2] with the transition metal complexes [(Me3N)Cr(CO)5], [Fe3(CO)12], and [Ni(CO)4]. For the first time, this reaction offers a general pathway to compounds containing a Group 13 metal and a transition metal bridged by a pentel atom. Complexes prepared in this way were characterized by IR and multinuclear NMR spectroscopy and by single-crystal X-ray structure analysis. Their electronic and structural properties are discussed in detail. The Group 13/15 ligands are very weak acceptors, which is likely to be due to the electropositive Group 13 metal, and the complexes feature comparatively long pentel-transition metal bonds. In addition, the synthesis and structural characterization of the parent DMAP-coordinated gallanes [(dmap)Me2Ga-E(SiMe3)2] (E=P, As) are reported.  相似文献

Genetic algorithms (GA) were used to solve one of the multidimensional problems in computational chemistry, the optimization of force field parameters. The correlation between the composition of the GA, its parameters (p(c), p(m)) and the quality of the results were investigated. The composition was studied for all combinations of a Simple GA/Steady State GA with a Roulette Wheel/Tournament Selector using different values each for crossover (0.5, 0.7, 0.9) and mutation rates (0.01, 0.02, 0.05, 0.10, 0.20). The results show that the performance is strongly dependent on the GA scheme, where the Simple GA/Tournament Selector yields the best results. Two new MM3 parameters were introduced for rhenium compounds with coordination number four (204) and coordination number five (205), the formal oxidation states of rhenium ranging from +V to +VII. A manifold of parameters (Re-C, N, O, S) was obtained by using a diverse set of CSD structures. The advantage of the GA vs. UFF calculations is shown by comparison of several examples. The GA optimized parameters were able to reproduce the geometrical data of the X-ray structures.  相似文献

The methodology for ready-made matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) target plates covered with an optimized thin layer consisting of matrix and nitrocellulose has been developed. Piezoelectric microdispensing enabled sample depositions in a high-density array format of 2000 sample depositions on a conventionally sized target plate (45 x 47 mm). The sample depositions were made reproducibly in a fully automated mode by using an in-house developed computer-controlled piezoelectric flow-through microdispenser. Additionally, the piezoelectric technique facilitated significant analyte enrichment that increased the detection sensitivity. The MS signal was obtained rapidly, generally within ten laser pulses. An airbrush device was used to generate a fine spray of matrix and nitrocellulose dissolved in acetone. The acetone evaporated instantly when reaching the target plate leaving the entire surface with a thin and uniform matrix/nitrocellulose coating consisting of very small crystals of matrix embedded in the nitrocellulose. These crystals acted as a seed-layer on subsequent analyte depositions, rendering homogeneous sample spots when using alpha-cyano-4-hydroxycinnamic acid (CHCA) as matrix. The relative standard deviation of the signal intensity between spots was (20-30)% (n = 30). The detection sensitivity was improved by restricting the sample spot diameter to 300 microm. The spot size was affected by the deposition rate and the evaporation rate of the dispensed sample volume. Mass spectra of a 25-amol peptide mixture deposition were successfully recorded.  相似文献

The serine protease cathepsin G (EC 3.4.21.20; Cat G), which is stored in the azurophilic granules of neutrophils (polymorphonuclear leukocytes) and released on degranulation, has been implicated in various pathological conditions associated with inflammation. By employing high-throughput screening, we identified beta-ketophosphonic acid 1 as a moderate inhibitor of Cat G (IC(50) = 4.1 microM). We were fortunate to obtain a cocrystal of 1 with Cat G and solve its structure by X-ray crystallography (3.5 A). Structural details from the X-ray analysis of 1.Cat G served as a platform for optimization of this lead compound by structure-based drug design. With the aid of molecular modeling, substituents were attached to the 3-position of the 2-naphthyl ring of 1, which occupies the S1 pocket of Cat G, to provide an extension into the hydrophobic S3 region. Thus, we arrived at analogue 7 with an 80-fold potency improvement over 1 (IC(50) = 53 nM). From these results, it is evident that the beta-ketophosphonic acid unit can form the basis for a novel class of serine protease inhibitors.  相似文献

A long-standing issue regarding the local and long-range structure of V(2)O(5)*nH(2)O xerogel has been successfully addressed. The full three-dimensional structure of the lamellar turbostratic V(2)O(5)*nH(2)O xerogel was determined by the atomic pair distribution function technique. We show that on the atomic scale the slabs of the xerogel can be described well as almost perfect pairs (i.e., bilayers) of single V(2)O(5) layers made of square pyramidal VO(5) units. These slabs are separated by water molecules and stack along the z-axis of a monoclinic unit cell (space group C2/m) with parameters a = 11.722(3) A, b = 3.570(3) A, c = 11.520(3) A, and beta = 88.65 degrees. The stacking sequence shows signatures of turbostratic disorder and a structural coherence limited to 50 A.  相似文献

The reaction of the alkyne HCCC(O)OMe with 7 sep 1,2-(Cp*RuH)2B3H7 leads to hydroboration plus hydroruthenation to produce nido-1,3-mu-Me{C(O)OMe}C-1,2-(Cp*Ru)2B3H7, a compound with an exocluster ruthenium-boron mu-alkylidene that exists in two isomeric forms. Both isomers undergo rearrangement with intramolecular chelation of the carbonyl oxygen at a boron site, thereby opening the cluster and generating arachno-2,3,-mu(C)-5-eta1(O)-Me{C(O)OMe}C-1,2-(Cp*Ru)2B3H7. Further heating leads to deoxygenation of the carbonyl fragment by a boron center concurrent with insertion of the carbon atom into the metallaborane cage to give nido-1,2-(Cp*RuH)2-3-HOB-4-MeC-5-MeOC-BH3.  相似文献
